That sounds like something I'd write, except I would give you the courtesy of being direct. There's no use in being superior if you can't hold it over someone else's head.

Otherwise, real talk, why let it bother you? Someone on the internet disagrees with you and is a dick about it? Stop the fucking presses.

If the guy is truthful, then you're a dick. If you're truthful, then he's a dick. So we get two more dickheads on the internet. Not a net gain for civilized company, but there's so much crap everywhere these days, what's two more asswipes?

Question of the hour is why are you coming to another site with unrelated people to complain about it? That's pretty self-absorbed, bud. It definitely makes me think the guy's assessment of your character is on point. 

*edit* I read the time-stamps on his post, and in your comments to it. This isn't recent... which basically validates this guy's point that you're still getting your panties in a twist over something that happened long past the point of relevance. 

What exactly are you looking for here? Validation? Comfort? Even if you ended up being 100% in the right, it still seems to me that you're just pegging for sympathy, over something that happened to you somewhere else sometime ago (not recent.)
