Yes, you read that right. Anthem is set in the ME Universe and is a prequel to the Original Trilogy.....now lemme explain. Most peeps wouldn't notice but a few might have heard of the Manswell Expedition (click for the full article) in ME2. It was a private spaceflight venture funded by Victor Manswell in 2075 to travel to one of the planets in the Alpha Centauri system, around 74 years before the discovery of Mass Relays. Anthem takes place in a single planet (as far as we know), both are a lost contact situation where a colony is separated from the rest of the galaxy. Plus the people of the colony have no idea about the races of the Milky Way. Too odd to be a coincidence? Just sharing my thoughts, will most likely turn out to be wrong but still an interesting theory... Read more about the Manswell Expedition. |

Whoa...i like this backstory... ...you should send it to them, it's not like they haven't tanked other story and plot mechanics late into the games development before...*cough*...uh...*Ahem*...... Andromeda.....but you never know.....it fits well within the ME universe.... |
