Do games like Destiny, The Division, Diablo, etc. have similar trading networks?

I have never seen a trade option in either The Division or Destiny, though admittedly I only played desitney for a short time before getting bored and never bothered with D2. I did play Division through twice + DLC and no trades.

Destiny for sure has no trading, can't remember if the division did and I haven't played a diablo game in ages.

Won’t happen. Marketplace leads to players exchanging real money for loot, which confirms loot has value, which confirms that RNG loot boxes are gambling. Legally, I mean. We already know it’s gambling.

We already know it’s gambling. Blizzard tried this sort of thing with the Auction House, didn't they? It lasted about 1 year and they were forced to remove the feature in South Korea after it was deemed illegal

We already know it’s gambling. If there was a legal issue, then SW:tOR wouldn't have it. For me the downside is that it makes lootboxes more P2W than they'd be if they were just cosmetic, since it means you can effectively buy in game currency.

I did play Division through twice + DLC and no trades. The Division has trading but it's very limited. You can give a loot drop to another player if they were in your party when it dropped. The ability to do this lasts for twelve hours.

Shady stuff can fly under enforcement radar, unless some huge outcry happens and attention is called to the issue ... like what happened with SWBF2.

The point of a game with a loot emphasis is to keep players playing to get the loot, so they have an incentive to make it hard for you to just buy stuff from other players.

Warframe has trade an more importantly text chat on console, Path of Exile (a diablo type game) has a trade board on console but no text chat an alot of frustration with buying/selling but the devs have said for that game they dont want to make it to easy to trade as the whole point of the game is to get your own gear an not acquire it through trade, different story on pc with 3rd party websites etc.
Be interesting to see which direction Anthem takes, if anything text chat on console atleast

Shady stuff can fly under enforcement radar, unless some huge outcry happens and attention is called to the issue ... like what happened with SWBF2. It's not illegal though, the grey sites attached that often can be used for gambling are though but they aren't under the perview of the devs/publishers. It's why the steam marketplace is fine (though I think it gets close) but the UK gambling authority has been looking at skin gambling sites attached to those games and I think have sucessfully prosecuted some? I dunno, it was a while ago since I saw them. If it was illegal to have RNG on an item which could latter be sold for a higher value, trading cards would have been banned years ago. A secondary market value does not matter.

Good luck getting console to do it cause most people don't like it (I wouldn't either, using a controller for chatting sucks compared to a keyboard).

No both games dont have, warframe does an it used all time especially in trade/clan an help it also probably the n1 asked for feature for poe aswell as better trade on console, text/typing can be a pain on console but having the option to go LFG x content or LF Guild can and does help alot

Warframe has a trading system using text chat to communicate bids or offers (WTS/WTB). The items that can be traded are restricted (prime parts, prime weapons, prime sets, special mods, etc.). Prices are quoted using the main game currency - Platinum. Items can be sold for Platinum, or traded for an equivalent item. This system makes it easier to get specific parts you need without grinding RNG forever. It also means you have a way to earn Platinum without paying real dollars, although you can buy Platinum if you want from DE directly. (Warframe is free to play; you are not required to buy any Platinum to play the game.) All trading must take place in a clan dojo, so this system encourages players to join a clan so that they can trade.
Overall, the Warframe trading system is a pain to use: the text chat is hard to see, bids are mixed with offers, there is a huge list of tradeable items that is not organized by category, prices are a total guess, noobs get fleeced on pricing, and many times there is no response to your offer. You can waste a lot of time trading in Warframe. Despite continued complaints in their forums, DE has no plans to improve the system or make it easier to use. Despite these issues, the Warframe trade chat is going strong after 4+ years; it is very busy on a Saturday night, although there seem to be a lot more sellers than buyers.

Like the auction house in D3 that everyone hated because it encouraged pay2win? Nope. I think they're trying to make it exactly as RNG-y as you suspect in order to make the average user play longer. It's all about sustaining the total playtime of each player to keep up activity on the server and constantly dangle the ads for microtransactions in the store to incentivise in-app purchases. EA wants your money, baby.
