No thanks. If you can't naturally develop a game or a story without intentionally creating it to attract certain gender group, maybe you should do something else. The moment I see any gaming company move towards a direction, that likely alienates existing audiences for new ones, I am out and their games will find their way onto my computer only via pirate ship.

The best games tend to be made when devs make games that they themselves want to play. If group of college girls, as an example, decide to form their own gaming studio after graduating and makes a game that they want to play, more power to them, but I don't see why companies where most of the devs are male, should try to please that target audience specifically. They'd likely fail at it anyway.
