What kind of games would you recommend? Destiny or Zelda? Are video games too violent for most people? No time? How would you introduce frat boys and sorority girls to RPGs? Hand out copies of Dragon Age and Mass Effect? Is Mass Effect too hardcore? Don't these highly regarded college students love romance?
But can they stomach the violence? Would the violence have to be toned down to Kingdom Hearts levels? I actually know a popular cheerleader girl who was introduced to gaming with Kingdom Hearts abut I actually know a ballerina who likes Game of Thrones. Then again most people I know are Disney fans.
If they don't have time would games have to become shorter?
This is a 15 hour game.
Would we have to cram an epic story complete with romance and war into 15 hours?

Non-gamer is too vague. You’d really have to know what that person’s interests before deciding on a genre. Like, someone who just isn’t into fantasy at all wouldn’t do well with anything like it, be it DA, TW or the sort, and someone who just isn’t patient for any RPG would just hate anything that requires lots of dialogue and exposition.

It really depends on what they enjoy. Do they love space fiction? Here is Star Wars and Mass Effect; do they love history and war? He is Brothers in Arm's and Battlefield 1.
Et cetera.

I wouldn't want to give them a bad first impression, so I'd let them play Manhunt

Do they drink wine? Are they popular, and if so, why don't they have short hair?

Hm, I would try to find out what they're interested in. Then Find a game that fits those interests. Do they like magic? Do they like strategy? Do they like space ship flying? Do they like strong stories? Do they like creating their own story? Do they like romances? Are they gay or strait? Do they have alot of patience for long term payoffs? Do they only have an hour a night to play?
Then find games that fit those interests.

The wifey is a bit old school with her love for mortal combat....but she was REALLY impressed when she walked by and saw me playing this.... This was the first game where she wanted me to to notify her when i was playing this...she stated it seemed like she was watching a movie and she liked the whole teenage/young adult old school slasher vibe......i loved this game....visuals are still impressive even today....

"Frat boys and sorority girls" can find video games on their own, methinks.

And vice versa.
