The P.A.W. Siphon finally dropped in a Premium Pack for me, so my Human Female Engineer equipped it in this Platinum Solo on Firebase Sandstorm against the Kett. While it’s no Shorty or Rozerad, it acquitted itself quite well against Platinum enemies, especially those affected by Cryo Trap and Elemental Tech. Objectives: Devices / Retrieval / Devices Gameplay notes and build: goo.gl/NbcHBa- Cryo Beam: 4A 5A 6B
- Assault Turret: 4B 5B
- Overload: 4B
- Offensive Tech: 4B 5B 6A
- Support Systems: 4A 5A
- P.A.W. Siphon I
- Equalizer Siphon X
- Multicapacitor
- Assault Rifle Amp IV
- Disruptor Ammo II
The original P.A.W. was one of the last UR weapons that I had unlocked, and I’ve been waiting for the Siphon variant just as long it seems. It was one of five UR variants that was missing from my collection (Shorty Concussive, Silhesh Concussive, Ushior Concussive, and the Rozerad Bulwark). I was fine not having the others, but I was really looking forward to the P.A.W. Siphon. Thank you Pack RNG! On Platinum, you have to load it up with an Assault Rifle Amp IV to boost its damage output to an acceptable level. Debuffing an enemy with Cryo Beam with Elemental Tech and Disruptor Ammo took the P.A.W. Siphon to an even better level. It’s no Rozerad or Shorty, but it proved itself quite viable in this match. I barely used the Equalizer Siphon X that I had brought as a backup. The Human Engineer does not have Rage nor Shield Boost, so she’s much squishier than the Krogan Engineer and Angara Insurgent. As a result, the Assault Turret was even more instrumental in keeping her alive by drawing aggro when she was retreating and repositioning. I did not spec into Shield Reset, so I equipped her with the Multicapacitor to make her shield start recharging as fast as possible (3.07 seconds out of cover and 1.72 seconds in cover). Since I had equipped an Assault Rifle Amp IV for boosting the P.A.W., Disruptor ammo for Elemental Tech, and the Multicapacitor gear, I specced into 5B Omni Link so that my power recharge rates were even faster. I didn’t always have time to charge Overload, so having it be available quicker helped a bit while on the roof and back of Building 37. ObjectivesAn earlier attempt featured a Wave 6 Devices which I failed miserably while disabling the last device. When devices spawn close to each other, there’s a decision to make. Do you (1) go immediately for the device or (2) do you wait, kite, and run to the device at the last second? I chose the former, and a Behemoth was waiting for me right next to the objective. Fortunately, I did not have to wait too long for the right combination of objectives to appear. Devices did come up on Wave 6 again, but each device was far away from the previous one. Please enjoy!

I never put points into Turret for my (bronze, LOL) solos, but you make a pretty good case for it here.
