A Flamethrower-centric Platinum solo with the Turian Agent against the Outlaws on Firebase Derelict. Objectives: Boss / Retrieval / Devices Gameplay notes and build: goo.gl/TtjhQE- Recon Visor: 3 points
- Tactical Cloak: 4B 5A 6B
- Flamethrower: 4A 5B 6A
- APEX Training: 4B 5A 6B
- Support Systems: 4A 5A
- Rozerad Siphon VI
- Sovoa Siphon II
- Expert Package
- Disruptor Ammo III
- Power Efficiency Mod III
There’s two reasons why I have for the most part avoided Outlaws and Remnant in my Platinum solos: Adhi’s and Observers. I really hate when the Adhis grab me. Two Observers are annoying enough in Platinum Kett; more than two is a nightmare for my non-stealth characters (just ask my Krogan Mercenary what he thinks of Observers on Remnant Paradox). The other Turian Agent Platinum Solos that I have seen on YouTube used sniper rifles. Wanting to do something different, I specced mine out with a Rank 6 Flamethrower build for maximum armor melting. I only put three points in Recon Visor, but it was good enough. With the Expert Package and Power Efficiency Mod III, I never had to wait too long for any of my powers to be in cooldown. With all of the duration evolutions, the Agent could spend nearly 17 seconds in cloak with only a 6.5 second cooldown. General gameplay was to use the Rozerad to take out distant enemies or flying Observers. Since I equipped Disruptor Ammo III, I was able to stun anything that got close to me. I would follow up with Flamethrower as long as possible. Direct damage and burning damage was great, and I could drop a Berserker from full health to dead in a couple of casts for Flamethrower. According to TheThirdRace’s builder, I got 11.1 seconds of burning damage at 1271 dmg/sec. that’s on top of the sustained damage of 1466/second. Platinum Berserkers have between 20K and 25K of armor, so you can see how they can melt from Flamethrower alone. ObjectivesBlaze Hydra Boss objective wasn’t too bad. I did end up using a couple of Cobras to hasten its demise. Retrieval and Devices was a snap with Tactical Cloak and the Agent’s extra long cloak duration (almost 17 seconds).

Where do you come up with all the numerical stats? Is it the damage tests thread? I find that thread a bit hard to read (things feel spread out). Is there a good summary page?

Where do you come up with all the numerical stats? Is it the damage tests thread? I find that thread a bit hard to read (things feel spread out). Is there a good summary page? Click on my character build links in each solo recap post, which takes you to TheThirdRace’s ME:A Builder. He calculated all of the stats using the information from the Numerical Masterbook thread and spreadsheet. I have found it to be pretty accurate, though there are some bugs (i.e. Crushing Grip has a fixed amount of damage and doesn’t scale with boosters and passives). The Enemy Stats tab on the Numerican Masterbook spreadsheet and the builder helped me optimize all of my Platinum solo builds. Couldn’t have done it without it!
