Is it just me or is multiplayer getting harder my stats are all over 100 and i use to not really have troubles with online play but when i tried to run and perilous map today i got crushed very easily i was even taking real damage on a threatening map.... I dont know whats going on but its bull there is no point in playing the game if your going to keep changing all the core stats for it.... some thing else seems odd i use to be able to get more exp from perilous runs i started map last not at 19 and didn't even get to a 20

There have been no updates to multiplayer for I think over a year now and there will be no more. Have you taken a break for awhile and are just coming back? The only thing I can think of is you ran into Darkspawn or Qunari faction which are considered harder. And you need like 37000xp to go from bottom 19 to 20. You won't make that soloing perilous and you might not even make it with a standard team.

Support ended in January 2016 to be precise. Definitely on your end; can't say much about stronger enemies since I'm overpromoted, but XP works like it should.

Sorry to say its 100% just you.
At 100 you have only got a 45% Defence so depending on the class you play and how wreckless you are, yes you could get crushed.
You also have to generate exp as the game just doesnt throw it out to you for nothing. Exp is fine, sadly a lot of people just want to tear through a level as a dps and either dont care about exp or dont know how to generate it.

I also got the feeling that something did change (only in Ferelden Castle Map though): - the number of ice witches (demon type enemy) especially in zone 3 is increased.
- the number of shield bearers enemy also increased, e.g. I'm facing like 10 shield bearers at once in zone 1 (with a giant)
Both cases made the runs became challenging for me since I working on my warrior promotion (without PI). I think there is a scale depends on the stat... and also there is a cap to that scale, so that high stats players doesn't notice any differences anymore.

Enemies can be shuffled with animals. Sometimes when fighting Darkspawn, you will have animals instead of bolters; same goes with Qunari assassins, Shielders etc. It isn't new change, it was like this since MP DLCs.

I have to say that this is probably what happened. The other side of this, is at at on Routine, animals are actually a lot scarier than the "normal" enemies for that difficulty, so an animal spawn on Routine is actually quite deadly to a newbie party, where on higher difficulties, it's more a freebie enemy, as they aren't really that bad, they just have high health/damage, unlike a lot of the normal enemies who have special abilities that make them a lot more challenging than basic grunts (which is mostly all that is around on Routine).

they just have high health/damage, unlike a lot of the normal enemies who have special abilities Yeah, their HP is higher than most humanoid enemies, even few elites. Wolves and hyenas in particular. Reptiles are just tricky because they can stun you, but you can kill them much quicker.

Any level involving a large creature or monster can lead to an early wave of enemies. The whole map can be aggro-ed sometimes, and this can be a difficult, overwhelming force to deal with. If possible, try to stay out of LOS and let the monster do some of your work for you (e.g. damaging your enemies until it is dead). If you get the creature AND the enemy faction aggro-ed on you... expect pain 😉. Waves of shield bearers are a challenge, but status effects work great on them (shield wall stun, pommel strike stun, winters grasp freeze, panic, mighty blow and firestorm knockdowns, etc). How is your party composition? Do you have a variety of heros that can induce status effects? As for the despair demons in zone 3, if you are delaying at a chokepoint, they can start to multiply and the knockdowns/ice blasts are deadly, even through walls or upper levels. You may have to move forward and engage earlier to slow down the spawn, or get an AW or an assassin to go ahead of the party and take them out.

I was solo that time with Lego + Belt of urgency As for the despair demons in zone 3, if you are delaying at a chokepoint, they can start to multiply and the knockdowns/ice blasts are deadly, even through walls or upper levels. You may have to move forward and engage earlier to slow down the spawn, or get an AW or an assassin to go ahead of the party and take them out. I hate them so much, they can cast barrier and fly escape thorough walls
