Do cities on Earth in Mass Effect look like EPCOT?
So humanity in Mass Effect has gene modding. Would having Olympic level physical fitness make humanity happier?
If Mass Effect 5 features a Council that has legalized AI would coexistence between organic and synthetic life be cool to show?

The problem I would have is I don't see how they can do a subject like that with any real success, they barely touch on anything outside the story of the game because there is just only so much the can do. If it is there that is fine, but I wouldn't want them to really spend any real time going that route for it then just becomes filler and something I think most people will just overlook.

No, they shouldn't and no, they don't. In ME3, we saw both Vancouver and London... bits of Vancouver before it was significantly damaged by the Reapers and London afterwards. No signs of Epcot in either. Bioware incorporated what exists today into those views, so there probably was still an Epcot in Florida during the time of ME3; but that's all.

So humanity in Mass Effect has gene modding. Would having Olympic level physical fitness make humanity happier? If Mass Effect 5 features a Council that has legalized AI would coexistence between organic and synthetic life be cool to show? They have gene modding but I don't know how significant it is. The Alliance has laws about it (according to the wiki) so that natural talents can be enhanced but new traits couldn't be added. The idea is to generally correct genetic flaws in utero or shortly after birth. Ashley was apparently modified to correct nearsightedness. There are also military enhancement packages for marines, something Ashley mentioned. As for AI, it depends. If the geth survive the ending of ME3, and the Council still exists, I'm not sure they'd get a say in it. It would definitely lead to war since the upgraded geth would be very powerful. Also, I have a hard time thinking EDI would become illegal given her significant aid during the Reaper War. Assuming that geth/quarian peace is made and Control was chosen (only one where this would apply), we already know such coexistence works. Of course, the Reapers under Shepard could also enforce said peace rather than moving toward annihilation of the entire galaxy. As to the title of this thread, I think Sanunes has it right. The stories tend to have a lot going on without spending time in the cities. It might work in a novel or comic but probably not in a game. The idea is nice but I don't think it translates well into video games.
