Hi all.
I am playing through Dragon Age origins and am trying to achieve a play through where I am able to successfully disarm every trap.
However, some cannot be disarmed due to the fact their triggers are below the ground.
I have tried using the Dragon Age toolset to correct this and it works on some such trap triggers but not on others. Examples of bugged trap triggers are:
The pressure plate trap in the world battle which happens during Lelianas personal quest.
A tripwire in the dungeon of Arl Howe's estate (which activates a fire trap).
I amend the trap trigger locations in the toolset and export so these changes appear in game when I activate my mod. However, only the first of the two trap trigger examples given above appears to be changed by the mod, even when I alter the location of both of them.
Is there any reason for this, or do I need to do anything else with the trap trigger in order for it to register in game?
Other traps I am having issues with include:
Some of the tripwire traps in Jarvia's room in the hideout in Orzammar, as they appear to only be detectable from behind and moving the trap triggers for those in the toolset also does not register in the game A tripwire trap in one of the random back alley encounters in Denerim, as it appears my rogues cannot detect it no matter what.
Thanks

Are you testing your edits with a save prior to having ever entered the area in question?

I did that and yes, the trap trigger moved that time, I believe you have to have never entered an area for a trap trigger alteration to take effect in that area.
Thanks
