I met a girl back in community college during remedial English I think? I thought she was cool at first and so we hung out, I barely knew her for a day and she already tells me; "I just want you to know that I would kill for you." I recall it like it was yesterday and I still had no words or reaction to adequately express in the shock of the moment other than a nervous "thanks, I guess..."Don't know about you, but I could sure use a personal assassin right about now he was only talking about last week so he doesnt really have to worry... and she's not exactly a personal assassin just a loved up teen with a personality disorder

Sure, I've been the target of a xenophobic rant, and I've had a knife thrown at me as a teenager (which hit only my foot, fortunately), but while those events were unpleasant and dangerous, respectively, they weren't actually creepy.

I was on the bus going home from work and some woman who looked in her 40’s got on and sat beside me near the back. She had barely sat down before she turned to me and said “I know you did it”. I was a bit taken aback at first but I love speaking to other people so I just replied “what?”, and to be honest I was bloody curious to know what I apparently had done. Well I instantly regretted asking because her answer to my query turned out to be “I know you killed her”. The bus was packed, everybody in the back and around our seats could hear what she said and it went f****** silent, you could hear a pin drop. Now I normally have an answer for everything, I’m an impudent little prat at times, but this time I could not come up with a single thing to say in response. All I could muster was to give her a stunned look and then turn towards the window.
She never said another word for the rest of the journey home and got off about seven or eight stops before me. To this day I don’t know who she was or who the hell I was supposed to have killed but it’s one of the most embarrassing and creepy things to have happened to me. I occasionally have nightmares about it to this day.

Don't know if it counts as creepy, but I grew up in the 1980-ies in a country of the Eastern European communist block. My mother and father both come from families that were labeled with the "Enemy of the State" mark back in the 1950-ies(decades later I got access to those dossiers to fact check it). Apparently we all were under some sort of surveilance and occasional check up for "activity against the State".
Since I was about 7-8 years old and onward I began to notice of people (strangers, teachers and even schoolmates) that asked me weird stuff out of the blue. On the bus or at the market a complete stranger will approach me and ask something like "You keep the guns well hidden, right?", "The Party is so wrong, right?", "I know about that thing you try to hide.", etc. That was the "expert" way of the National Security services to harass people that "weren't our people". Mind you that my family could have been arrested/detained for questioning if a "spy" reported that I got "nervous, afraid or acted suspiciously" after being asked the above questions. Yeah, I imagine the report: "I jumped in front of the 8 year old kid while his mother was not looking and started asking him if he is a traitor to the country. He got nervous and his mom yelled at me. Very suspicious indeed."
Teachers kept asking me who are the strange people that visit our home (there weren't any, just another fish attempt). Our household was denied access to a telephone, so I was regularly asked by teachers and schoolmates in a "oh, btw" manner if we have a hidden walkie talkie or radio equipment at home.
I had schoolmates, whose parents were known Party activists, tell me a political joke and ask me "Do you know this one?". Mind you that political jokes were banned and spreading them could get one arrested. So in essence the parents of my schoolmates tasked their 9-10 year old kid to tell me a banned joke and check if I know it already. If I knew it (I always denied, even when the idiot told the same joke few weeks later) then they could report my parents for the offense.

Man, so much creepy stuff happens to us in the service industry, especially when you're serving alcohol. The guys who use taking a photo with a girl who's serving them as an excuse to touch her. The guys who start over-complimenting to the point of uncomfortable excess.
It's not just the guys by any means, of course, most bachelorette parties are a blight upon society. Treating male servers like strippers. Bringing vulgar cakes. Wearing those messy, cheap feather boas. Villainy of the highest degree.

There, you’re welcome. Now you can join the rest of us and not miss out on the wonderful, creepy world of which we all have to live through This actually reminds me of a story when I was 16 and walking home alone from a friends house.
Some random guy pulled along side of me in a beat up grey van and asked for the the time, I looked down at my watch gave it to him and continued walking. Instead of driving off he then asked me if I wanted a ride and since I'm not an idiot I politely refused. He kept trying to talk me into taking a ride but when he finally realized I wasn't taking the bait, he got angry and told me that I'd better get in his fucking car while he kept cutting me off at driveways. He only sped off when I waved another car down.
I then ran back to my friends house which wasn't far off and called my mom to pick me up.

So many creeps out there. I remember something that happened to me when I was 17, I think. I was sitting on a bench, reading maybe? When a 40 years old man sat next to me. He started talking to me saying that he just came back from abroad as he was in the army or somethng. I just politely nodded, and he got closer to me. He then proceeded to touch my arm saying that I was beautiful and that he was feeling alone. I just shot off from there.

And sadly, there are a lot of creeps everywhere, not only in my area. Everyone knows someone who experienced something similar. One thing is for sure tho, I'm a magnet to older, creepy men.

Damn...that's some dark shite right there. Sorry to hear that. What a tough childhood! Have you considered writing a book about it? I'd definitely read it!
Actually I thought about it, but never really sat down to do it. There are probably books on the subject out there though.
Truth be told I grew up in an era where the "control" and "surveillance" were more on inertia compared to previous decades and not as dangerous. My parents on the other hand really had it tough growing up in the 50-60-ies when the shit was real and concentration camps for "bad behavior" were a thing. Their stories are probably more interesting and shocking. I can give you an example of the treatment they had to endure and probably the creepiest thing anyone said to my mother – my mother was attacked by a serial killer (yeah, communist countries had those even if it was a pretty hushed up fact back in those days) one evening when she was about 20 years old. She fought him and managed to escape with injuries. When she reported it to the militia (what the police was called back then) she was background checked and one inspector told her in the face "Not a big loss if he succeeded". When they caught the killer my mother wasn’t even called to testify because her statements were not considered "reliable" or "trustworthy" by the State (because of her "untrustworthy" family), despite being one of the few victims that escaped and she gave a pretty good description of him that most likely helped to catch him. My mother recognized the killer from his newspaper photos during the court trial but he was eventually released due to a lack of evidence… Yeah… There were several more murders afterwards that are considered to be from the same guy. My mother actually relocated to another city in fear of an attack and took the first chance to leave the country for several years.
As for me, I never really thought I had a tough childhood. When you are always treated as a "third class citizen" I guess you get used to it and make the best of it. Only years later I figured that it’s probably why I kinda became antisocial as a kid and even today I don’t enjoy large gatherings and am not fond of meeting new people from my country. I enjoyed being alone and played chess all the time. The State managed to ruin that for me too though after I apparently proved that I am a rebel…at age almost 11 , but it’s another long story and not really about a "creepy thing someone said".

True. But I was thinking more of a "from a child's perspective" kind of narration. Could be chilling, heart-breaking and moving all at the same time. If you've really thought about it, I'd say go for it! I've seen elderly regretting not sitting down writing a book in their younger days.

There was a woman on Tinder who messaged/liked me because I looked like her ex-boyfriend who died in a car accident a few years ago. She asked if we could go on a date and if I would go by his name just for one night. She also went into details about what type of clothing he liked to wear, type of cologne, and other attributes. All this info was dumped on me after about 2 hours of chatting.

I feel sorry for you, really but I also feel sorry for her, she seems a little bit deranged, may not have fully got over her ex's dead. Yeah, this was years ago maybe 2014? I was a bit younger and immature then, so I kinda just ghosted her shortly after. She was asking what my favorites were and she would be like, 'OMG that was his favorite too!'. I felt bad because she had some obvious grief/moving on issues, but I was in no way in any shape equipped to deal with all that.

Just be thankful she wasn't asking you to also wear a face mask modeled after him.
