N7 Day Mods
With huge advances made by teams of modders and coders with the ME3Explorer modding toolkit, some truly exceptional projects are now being made. Ahead of N7 Day, the modding community has decided to update a number of top-end mods and release thrilling new content to demonstrate the power of the toolkit and reward Mass Effects' dedicated fanbase.
Each day until the big day we will be announcing exciting additions to Mass Effect 3, and answering any questions you have about each mod and update.
N1 Day - ARK MOD: Cerberus Dragoons
From the Creators of EGM - Expanded Galaxy Mod
The new ARK MOD is an expansive new modification for Mass Effect 3. We aren't ready to reveal all that will come with this mod, but over this week you'll see many of the features that it will contain. Today, we are happy to reveal the several new features:
- Additional new enemies on SP N7 missions. - Fight Cerberus Dragoons in the N7: Cerberus Labs mission.

N2 - ARK MOD: Hazard Missions
From the Creators of EGM - Expanded Galaxy Mod
With ARK MOD we managed to develop methods to utilise multiplayer assets in the singleplayer campaign. ARKMOD will contain four N7 missions rebuilt in their Hazard format, with new enemies, restored cut content and other gameplay improvements.
- N7: Benning; Fight new enemies while avoiding shield-sapping Acid Rain. - N7: Ontarom; Fight in the midst of an intense desert storm against new enemies, but watch out for alien wildlife. - N7: Noveria; A blizzard has hit the Cerberus Fighter Base, prepare to fight new enemies in the snow and witness restored cut content. - N7: Tuchanka; Attempt to reclaim ancient krogan cannons in a night raid against Cerberus who are fielding new enemies.

Now you guys are going to force me (force me, I tell ya) to start my 20th (yeesh) run through ME+ME2+ME3, just to play the new ME3 content, especially with the EG mod and its companion mods.
I guess it's good the growing season is almost at a close, won't be seeing the outdoors for quite a while.

N3 - Mass Effect 3 MP: Redemption Update
From the Creator of Mod Manager
Mass Effect 3: Redemption will be receiving an update on November 7, 2018 adding an additional map to the roster. This brings a total of 9 new maps in Redemption. Additionally, due to some of the changes internally in Redemption, we can now add more maps (we were previously at the maximum of 8 before we had to start removing others).

N5 - Spectre & Respawn Mods; Expanding Lore and Improving Replayability
After months of work, I’m very happy to reveal the new updates for Spectre Expansion Mod and Respawn Mission Overhaul. These include a host of new additions, bug fixes and immersive improvements. Here is what is contained in each mod:
Spectre Expansion Mod v0.8 www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/mods/634
This patch is focused on expanding content for the less used alien races and giving them galaxy map missions, as well as other text adventures. There are four stories contained within the mod, some longer than others, as well as many new additions to the galaxy map, bug fixes, artwork, and rewrites. Here is what is in this update:
Immersion Updates - The Salarian STG now use salarian weapons on Priority: Sur’kesh (thanks to Ravager).
Galaxy Map Expansion - Planets from ME: Infiltrator, ME: Ascension and ME: Paragon Lost have been added. Mass Effect 1’s E3 star system has been added to the game as well.
The Ghosts of Antilin - The core text adventure of Spectre Expansion Mod reaches its finale; the Virtual Aliens are snared by a rogue faction. Will you save them, or leave them to their fate?
Text Adventures - Three additional new text adventures have been added.
Respawn Mission Overhaul v1.3 www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/mods/487
Continuing the trend of previous updates, v1.3 fixes many bugs (with the help of the legend Shadohz!) but more importantly it overhauls several missions to include new enemy spawn points, randomized combat and decision-based combat changes.
Priority: Eden Prime and N7: Cerberus Abductions have been heavily altered to add randomized combat and new spawn points.
Priority: Sur’kesh - Combat changes will be happening in the future, but for now Respawn will be using the same immersive updates as Spectre Expansion Mod for Sur’kesh.
Bug Fixes - Numerous! Some of which were provided by Shadohz, who I am very thankful for their support.

We all worked extremely hard on our mods, but the responses we received were few and far between, and that includes here and on places like reddit. It is a little demoralising. However, we're still going to keep working, and in the future you'll see more cool additions to the game. Just keep an eye out ^^

So far I only manage to play Ark's paladin mission and two of sil's new spectre-missions. Those are each pretty awesome! The sad part is only that it's most likely halfway next year until i get the time to play the rest properly.

I've only played the OT trilogy on console since the beginning, so I've never gotten to experience a modded "Mass Effect" before, but the fact these exist might mean I "borrow" my wife's laptop and give the trilogy a try on the PC

It's a pain, I know, but on the positive side, imagine what else will have been released by then. samhain444Cheers, samhain444! Yeah, it is disheartening, but we'll soldier on. It's possible that people just aren't used to thinking of ME3 as a game that gets modded, hopefully we've introduced a fair amount of people to them now. I'd really suggest giving a modded ME3 a go. It's a bit of a pain setting it up the first time around, but there are some great mods available that really improve the core of the game.

michaelmIf you ever get the chance, I'd recommend getting it on PC and giving it a go with mods. It's not much fun to set up at first, but its worth it.

Wow, just saw this. So let me get this straight, you guys actually managed to put an entirely new playable mission into the game? hat's pretty goddamn incredible. Congratulations to everyone who worked on this. I do have some idea as to how difficult this must have been, so huge kudos to the modding community on this. My last playthrough of the ME trilogy was almost 2 years ago but that was heavily modded and it was awesome. Whenever I get around to do another playhtrough, I'll be sure to get this and incorporate it into the game. Thanks a lot for your dedication and efforts guys. Pretty cool that ME3 is still being modded, 6 years after release.

Wow . I love that ME3 is still getting new content through mods 6 years after release. While the ending was bittersweet, ME3 is still one of my favourite games. The experience I had playing through the trilogy remains special to me. The last time I did a playthrough was with EGM which improved the game no end, but this is taking it to another level. Cheers.

How did I miss this? I have been thinking about playing SP again, but I have a couple of MP projects on the fire that take precedent atm. When I loaded ME3 today, I saw ModManager updating EGM. Now I know what it is Simple outstanding work, and thank you sil, Mgamerz, and others for your efforts!

Adding a new mission was a titanic effort, 99% of which was down to Kinkojiro. The rest was us helping him with testing and ideas. He's done a truly fantastic job. I hope when you give the game a replay that you'll enjoy it. There is more to come from us modders, though I don't know if any more combat missions will come anytime soon, but text adventures for Spectre are on their way. shermos - I completely agree. I just wish Bioware would keep adding after all this time too @qui-Gon Glenn - Thank you! Hope you enjoy the mod updates ^^
