I don't think >= 20 is unreasonable. I doubt there will be more than 20 strongholds. If I had to guess I would say 10-15, and probably closer to 10. Remember that these strongholds are in addition to story missions, world events, and "legendary contracts" (whatever those are). I just don't think Bioware has the resources to design and implement that much content. I also don't think you need large quantity of stronghold-type content to sustain an elder game. The point of these loot shooters (or any loot-grind game) isn't to do a lot of content a few times, it's to repeatedly do a limited amount of content a lot of times. As long as the content is fun, challenging, and the loot chase is enticing/rewarding enough, people are happy to grind out the same mission over and over again. Let's also not forget the piece of live service content they snuck in at the end with the Q&A about something separate from strongholds/legendary contracts that they couldn't really talk about but was "integrated with the narrative of the world" or something like that. I'd guess they are talking about shaper storms or something related. Remember that shaper storms was something we saw in the very first gameplay footage from E3, but haven't seen or heard about them since. I'm actually really curious as to what this ends up being. If Bioware can manage to pull something unique off here, it would go a long way toward differentiating Anthem from Destiny/Division. I expected the density to be higher I think the stream made it look like there were fewer enemies than there actually were. We only saw Mike's perspective and most of the time he was running around PTO rather than actually participating in firefights. There were a lot of times where you could hear Ben/Jon speaking as if they were in combat but you saw no enemies on screen because Mike was halfway across the map.

There were a lot of times where you could hear Ben/Jon speaking as if they were in combat but you saw no enemies on screen because Mike was halfway across the map. True, but I was paying attention to the enemy detector in the HUD (top of screen), and there were rarely more than 8 red dots there, and less than 4 most of the time. That was still governed by which direction Mike was looking at, but even so, he turned around enough to get a general idea of the density. Plus, Mike rarely had to personally deal with more than 2 enemies at once.

I know I'm late on this but I watched the most recent stream last night while cooking breakfast for supper 👍
I said it over and over that I was still to much on the fence as e erything previously shown just wasn't interesting or not enough to sway me, I'm still kind of sitting on that too as I need to see how mission structure works.
That said the gameplay has slowly worked it's way onto interest for me, especially after watching the interceptor play. The movement in the game seems wonky (I mean mine went into walls various times, I watched the feet and it seemed sluggish to turn around and such 🤷) but everything else seemed good. I think they may need to tone down the explosions a little too. I'm still wanting to see more details on mission structure and more info on javelin progression.
