When I was doing chemotherapy, I often felt too weak to sit at my desk. I played Dragon Age 2 in bed.

I've been rearranging my room, and I decided to have my computer desk facing the side of my bed, instead of spending more for a chair. Doing this allows me to not only watch movies on my TV , but also play games (ie Mass Effect) on my PC with the comfort of my bed as well. That's not bad, or a problem, is it? I haven't been able to find similar results from other people online for the sake of an example. Honestly? It's you're computer, your desk and your bed. Do it whatever way you find things the most comfortable. It's kind of an odd thing for anyone to criticize you for doing. I use my chromebook in bed all the time and I couldn't care less if someone found that odd. Truth is, there are people who like to pick others apart for the stupidest of reasons, but they usually have habits other people would find odd too. Worry about the big stuff, not the small stuff...so no, it isn't a problem.

My only concern would be about your back. I have a lot of back pain, so playing in my bed would be really bad (no pun intended)

All the food you can order online. For convenience level 100 I recommend a small electric driven conveyor from your door to your bed so you don't have to get up to haul the cake, pizza and sodas into the fridge. The bedpan you dump into your potted plant, it will compost your crap and grow big and strong - and it has to- so it can deal with the ever increasing sizes of your dumps. What a time to be alive.

I fail to see how gaming from bed would be any more comfortable than sitting in a chair.

I'd professionally mount the TV on the ceiling and hook it to the PC.

Speaking of out-of-the-box gaming setups, I always thought the perfect gaming setup would look somewhat like those chairs they had standing around in Mass Effect 1: Turns out, there are kinda setups like this IRL: The idea is that you'd be able to rotate the chair vertically and also flatten it out gradually, so that you can sit up or lie down as much as you like while the monitors are always in a good position. I'd also want to add switchable controls, so you can flip in mouse & keyboard or, say a HOTAS. Right now, I am still in a phase of my life where I move a lot and live in tiny apartments in the middle of cities but if I ever settle down and get to set up my own gaming room (which is definitely the plan ), this would be my go-to setup. ... right next to this thing for VR gaming: A man can dream, right?

I'm not lazy. I do have a job. Besides what difference does it make? The time I spend on a bed is no different than a computer chair. I'm still sitting, and my feet are on the floor. I'm just saving money for other things, especially with a room as small as mine.

As long as you’re comfortable sitting on your bed without back support, you do you.

I haven't been able to find similar results from other people online for the sake of an example. I travel for work now and then, and I've used the bed a number of different times and I found it to be alright. I don't know if I'd like it for hours and hours in a row, but it's great to be able to just flop backwards and lie there for a bit. On a couple of occasions, I pulled the ironing board out of the closet and set that up at the end of the bed so that my HDMI cable would reach from the laptop to the TV and I could enjoy the bigger screen. Try it out, and see how it works. If it's really bad, you can always give in and buy a chair and re-rearrange.

Unless you're sick, it sort of screams, "I've got no sex life". (only if you do it too often... )

Game from comfort of bed too. Have 50" TV in front of bed with PC rig connected to it. Been like this for years.
