I think making a demo is probably a lot harder than most of us realize. Which is why we aren't getting a demo of the most recent build ... they probably started on it like 2 months ago.

I'm honestly surprised there is a demo at all. It's been shown on average they actually decrease sales if anything.
EA/Bioware must be pretty confident in Anthem to risk it. I mean look what happened the last two times a major EA game had public betas/demos (SWBF2 and BFV) - to say the response was not positive is a huge understatement. I guess we'll find out soon enough if their confidence in Anthem is earned.

It’s a gamble, but maybe it’s the right gamble to make when you are trying to break into a crowded market and get some interest going, even if it turns some maybes into definite no’s.
