Since one person alone can’t finish closing the tubes in time before they regenerate, This is why I initially thought a solo would not be possible, but an Interceptor can do it by dashing, just.

a. Literally: the. first. The first. the FIRST. THE. FIRST. THING I notice as I start up the game is that my ranger (which has nowhere near legendary stuff equipped) has a rating look as if he’s legendary. How can you not notice this? Do you not playtest? Come on. This just screams unprofessionalism the moment anyone opens up the game. I know, may seem like an overreaction at this point as it means nothing in practice, but it’s bad press from the get-go. All my javelins have mulitple legendaries equipped. One had got to legendary on the old system and the others were all over 700 so I assumed they had just lowered the threshold. I hadn't considered it to be a bug.

We ran the new stronghold last , first on GM2, and it is pretty. All three of us wowed at that last "room". After four party wipes on the boss, however, the same boss who refused to spawn a single ammo drop for me, we bailed. We switched to GM1 and fcae-rolled him. Her? It?
We liked the stronghold in general but the difficulty jump seems out of whack. Youngest has emergency power on and was droppimg his ultimate over and over in our first run and you could barely see the health bar move. The second time, we knocked it down so fast he hit his first and second add spawns at the same time.

Damn, I think they must have done something with the graphics because to me everything look crisper today. Even fiddled Little with the forge-on-the-run because I finished some challenge whilst still in the field. Did another Sunken as well. Hmmm the Unfathomed dies so fast though. Easily the lowest boss HP. Must be.

First thing I noticed on login was that I was over the Vault limit. Huh? I checked and, apparently, Components now take up a slot and I was over 100 items over the limit. I spent the next couple of hours trying to figure out which Masterworks to get rid of. On completion, I just went to sleep.

Even though I wasn't a fan of DA:2 or DA:I, I was a hardcore defender of Bioware after Inquisition launched, and spent a lot of time arguing with detractors on the official forum. Their attitude toward the community didn't sit right with me though and gradually my attitude to Bioware soured. Then Andromeda dropped ... Recent Bioware have been pretty darn good at turning their biggest supporters against them.

Harsh
Seems like the blog post was the main point of contention but I don't see it as anything other than an honest summation of the situation. The game launched too early with too many bugs. We already knew that. They made a mistake in announcing dates for the new content before they could be sure they could meet that date. The bugs had to take priority and that pushed back the new content. It's pretty standard to not announce things too early in case you can't make good on your promise and they are just saying that they will be more careful not to give false expectations in future.
The loot system is something they want to take their time over as evidenced by the advertisment for a loot expert to help them design it so I'm not surprised at all by there being no loot changes in the last update or any concrete news on what the loot changes might be in future. I really don't see that blog as any kind of black mark against Bioware at all.

This the blog post from April 2nd? Seemed innocuous enough to me, but I didn't take the article it was responding to as an overly serious concern to begin with.

I really don't see that blog as any kind of black mark against Bioware at all. The main black mark was to leave people hanging. Of the other 13 items on the 'April' list there has to be something next up. Even to say, 'we hope to talk about [item name] in the next 10 days' would have been better than 'mañana'...

Did the Sunken stronghold with randomz... 2 were clearly running through it again, me and another ranger were "a bit lost, mate?" We flew into some "cork" from the tubes and fell down, were like "wth is happening" when the two others cleared first puzzle like nothing. Flew around the large areas like flies killing randoms while others had time to work though, I guess we were helping! OMG how amazing it all is, although we just fly through most of the best parts, and the end battle was really tight. Keep that content coming on if its on this level. Btw, I said "holy shit" out loud and next ingame Sev says the same, but adds "what was that?" - my studio headphones pushed air out nicely hahah. The sound engineering in this game is on freaking next level. Gonna do some freeplay and sunken again. See you there.

No, the one from yesterday: Ah, thanks! Still seems sort of innocuous. It honestly kind of is. But as someone said a few days ago, they are damned if they do or don't at this rate. I hate to be so cynical (hell, I pointed out how cynical that was) but that seems to be the case now, and it also seems nothing will stop that from happening which is so damn defeatist...

With the implementation of speech to text and text to speech, and with the implementation of a sorta text chat (turn the option on under VOIP), I expect to see an actual and real in game chat sometime in the future. Which I suspect would be welcome when people try to coordinate puzzles

Today in Anthem: Story time! So. Remember how I was afraid to switch away from my Storm which I've been playing since launch as I would be gutwrenched if a perfect legendary dropped for my Ranger while every legendary gear has already dropped for my storm except the gear 2 gears I wanted? Well... ibb.co/dKcrZBqYeah. figures. Also, think about the dickest possible thing that RNGesus could do to me on the very next run. ibb.co/Fst34nZYou guessed it. The very same legendary with the very same inscriptions. Not one of the other 9 gears. Not one of the 20 possible components. Not one of the 20+ guns. Not even another inscription. Nope. The very same. I dare anyone to try the same. In any case, I WAS happy with the drop; it had been a while since I'd seen a legendary so it was kind of cathartic in a way. Also, in the end, the sticky with 200% charges is a beast. It allows me (together with a MW venom dart with 100% charges, a ranier's blaze, a siege breaker, and my lightning stick of doom) to be a ranger combo monstrosity. This build is utter insanity. I boost combo damage and gear recharge with sigils even further and I basically never run out of stickies. I took down the gatekeeper scar colossus armored enemy which guards the key to the cells in the second room of tyrant mine in under 15 seconds, solo, just by continuously performing combo's switching between fire, ice, and venom. Any normal enemy is simply venom dart + sticky grenade, end of story. I can even do the cool guys don't look at explosions bit, as I venom, sticky, and already move on to focus on another enemy before the sticky combo detonation finishes it off. Or, also fun: stick a sticky on a normal enemy, and quickly melee prime them before the sticky explodes. Boom, high speed combo! This build is REALLY powerful (and fun). I will stick with it for a while. This build really turns the ranger into a high speed, reflex build, adrenaline fuelled, monster build; kind of like vanquish (which I modelled him after in looks ). Actually, I'm kind of annoyed that after playing ranger for 10 hours or so, I already have a more efficient final build than my storm, which I've played since the start... (although admittedly in practice my storm is better since he has all legendary components and is MUCH better at mob wiping). Anyway, I'm glad I had a couple fun runs tonight after losing my loyalty to bioware (no worries skepticism peops, it isn't coming back). Because fun is what it's all about in the end, no?

I logged in after not having been online for a while. Salvaging seemed to be slower again. Also several damage stats are now wrong (as if they are missing 1 or 2 numbers) - damage output is correct, but the numbers are not. I really don't get how they manage to fix one thing and another and don't notice it. I mean... I'm 2 minutes into the game, open the Forge and check my loadout and see the problem immediately. It's not like I did extensive testing or anything... it's right there in your face. Please start playing your own game Bioware...
New Stronghold looks nice but would have liked to see an Outlaw SH first to be honest. The biggest problem still remains: loot. Rolls are still crap and everything can still drop anywhere so basically there still is no reason to continue playing or do aynthing else but speedfarm HoR. I really don't understand why they have such a hard time figuring this shit out. It's not rocket science to have several loot tables so players can farm specific spots/missions/bosses for particular pieces of gear and rework the whole inscription system by either turning insciptions into slottable modifications you can switch or rework the tables of stuff that can or can't roll on a specific item. Instead they waste their time with stuff like increasing a damage bonus from 110% to 135% and unimportant crap like that.

Guess I'll gripe some more on this thread... who decided that 2 Legendary Missions was a good idea for the Elysium Key Daily? That's the exact same mission, and on a day when the mission has a long-ass cutscene in the middle! Every other Daily that requires multiple completions of a task as least has some variety - who knows what World Events will pop up in Freeplay. *SMH*
On the flip side, I got to see the Striders walking in-game twice.
