- The default gun fires in bursts of 3 shots at around 2.5 seconds intervals ...It behaves like an actual hit scan gun (suffers from armor DR) can score headshots once in a blue moon. Cannot pierce cover even with AP ammo evolution ..
- at any given time turret will randomly chose (range to target is a factor) what attack to use Gun Burst, Shock or Rocket ... With the flamer evolution it will only fire the gun when out of flamer range ...
- Gun, Shock , Rocket & Flamer damage will get damage boost from power damage and engineering gear ...
- The shock evolution does 100 base damage.. IT IS THE ONLY COMPONENT OF THE SENTRY TURRET THAT BENEFITS FROM TECH VULNERABILITY .. Turret will randomly shock targets OR fire the gun ... (shock seems to trigger more often if targets are near)
- The AP ammo causes extra ammo hits for each of the gun bullets...IT ONLY AFFECTS TURRET GUN SHOTS - the other attacks (rocket,shock, flamer) gain no
benefit .. Like actual AP ammo consumable will only apply to health and armor.. It does double turret gun DPS vs health and vs 100 weakened armor...If armor DR is still a factor AP ammo will more than double turret gun DPS vs armor (bullets will lose Damage to armor DR but the ammo damage will not) ...Will not give the gun cover piercing capability (tested vs atlas) ..
- The rocket evolution will cause the turret to randombly chose between rocket , shock and gun fire ... Gun fire is still used more often and its 6 hit per burst vs armor//health will do more damage than a rocket does vs single targets ...
- The flamer evolution will cause the turret to alternante flamer and shock attacks while targets are in flamer range (gun never used) ... If no targets in flamer range the turret will shoot the gun at long range targets ...
-Turret Flamer mechanics are not completly clear to me atm ..Seem to do most damage vs shield, less vs health and even less vs armor

- VS Gold Armor DR flamer and AP gun have similar DPS. Only gain is flamer primes FEs.. Gun will score HS every now and then..
(75 * (1 + 0.3 + 0.15 + 0.1) * 6) - 150 = 547.5
(10 * 6 + 50) * 2 * 2.5 = 550
-vs health again similar DPS (gun vs flamer) Gun will score HS every now and then.. Flamer primes FE
75 * (1 + 0.3 + 0.15 + 0.1) * 6 = 697.5
((15 * 6) + 50) * 2 * 2.5 = 700
-vs shield flamer DPS >>> gun dps (~ 3 times more effective)
75 * (1 + 0.3 + 0.15 + 0.1) * 3 = 348.75
((23 * 6) + 50) * 2 * 2.5 = 940
-also rocket + gun has better single damage DPS vs shield compared to gun alone .. Vs armor and health AP ammo gun is close ..
