Ban happy jerks over there, let me tell you. Apparently unless you fawn over ever piece of fan art and half baked cosplay attempt you get banned and muted despite violating no posted rules. When you ask for clarification you get a snarky comment and get muted from even messaging the mods. Reddit is a cesspool but it would be less so if power mad moderators were held to account and the standards that they themselves instituted in the first place. The cowardly muting is what really grinds my gears. There needs to be an admin layer of appeal to end run around these 'people'.

I'm pretty sure the moment I try to sign up for shit like Resetera, they will ban me even before I make my first post. Not gonna bother.

I tried it out, didn't get banned but left of my own accord.
I just found there to be a lot of noobs upvoting incorrect or flat-out stupid things and falling into typical reddit-herd-mentality thinking they're right cause a few people wrongly agree with them.
I figure let em have their echo chamber and move on with your life. /shrug

I learned a long time ago to maintain healthy skepticism when I only have one side of the story, and what you've provided isn't helpful in sorting out what may have happened.
As far as the subreddit, it hasn't ever occurred to me to use it. I do use many subreddits for games that I play, but that one would be unlikely to have access to information that hasn't been covered by the hardcore nerds who compiled the data this forum was partly created to house.
Anyone with that kind of encyclopedic knowledge about Mass Effect has either moved on to play other games, or is likely to be found somewhere in the dark recesses of this place. If you dare to look (I wouldn't we're weird around here.)
