I always liked the story of Kal hirol. I hope we get to learn the story of more thaigs and that more thaigs get reclaimed in the future.

Did Harrowmont and Bhelen both have the same reactions to the revelation that some casteless had acted as warriors, I wonder? Though both are mentioned as honoring the fallen, I suspect Bhelen would make more of it.
Where does it mention the year that House Helmi reclaim the Thaig, by the way? I am planning on using Kal'Hirol in my pen-and-paper Dragon Age Inquisition campaign as somewhere the last of the Awakened loyal to the Mother are holed up, but would rather not go against canon if I can avoid it. The PCs are supposed to be helping House Helmi reclaim it.

Its in the timeline for WOT volume 1 (p149) Some of the things in WOT are errors, but this isn’t contradicted by any other sources to my knowledge. So the reclaiming of Kal’Hirol happened within a year of the Warden Commander killing the Mother. |
