Anyone around here playing it, now that it's out in NA/EU as well? I started on Saturday and already put an inordinate amount of time into it. It's funny, the (admittedly still fairly mild) Asian art style, the story presentation, etc. - all the things I usually care about - are not really for me and still, the game has caught me. Must be the simple Diablo-esque gameplay mechanics, combined with a huge world and very complex long time progression. In any case, I am having a blast so far. I am not super far into it yet (don't even have the ship yet) but I think I'll certainly keep going for a while. Playing a Paladin and though it's all a little over the top, at least he looks and feels like how I'd expect a paladin to be. Anyway, figured I'd make a thread in case people are playing it around here.

I wish I could play, but I'm not a PC player so I'm left out. Looks fun though.

I wish I could play, but I'm not a PC player so I'm left out. Looks fun though. Yea, bit of a shame it's PC only but to be honest with all the UI this game has, I doubt you'd have much fun navigating the gazillion menus without a muose.
As for my progress, I am taking it slow, doing all the side stuff while going though the story. When it started out, it actually felt pretty "western RPG", given the Korean origin but the further you get, the more the Asian style comes through for sure.
They certainly do some cool stuff in the levels though. I hope Diablo 4 will take some notes from this. For example, there is a rather large battle going on fairly early on, which is brilliantly orchestrated in the game engine. Really hope Blizzard can and will do something similar when they put their thing together.

I started it the last few days actually, haven’t gotten very far. Like you I’ve been taking my time doing side stuff.
So far I’m enjoying it, though the combat is taking a bit of getting used to.

True. For me, coming from Diablo, 8 skills + 1 identity skill is quite a lot to handle. I press another skill than I actually want way too often.

So far it hasn’t been too punishing though, so it doesn’t matter if I shoot off a fireball or something else.

Just finished downloading it, can't say I have really played MMO's so not sure if I will end up liking it or not (but hey its free so worth a try). Im hoping its similar to Diablo but 1 thing that annoys me right away is the fact that classes seem to be gender specific.

I've been playing. Finding it fun so far but man it took some getting use to an isometric view game. I haven't played one since Diablo2 came out years ago. I kept looking for a key to move the camera around. Messing with a Paladin so far and damn it's fun. Run in gather every thing that dislikes me up into a group and bam... Wrath of God them to oblivion. That never gets old My Paladin

It's lots of fun as long as you don't treat it like a race. Otherwise plenty to do and the combat kinda feels like Diablo and not at the same time. Looking forward to casually exploring it over the coming months

With so many things happening right now in Lost Ark, it’s easy to overlook some of the smaller problems. It seems like the devs feel this way too since the EUWest Login Bonus rewards have gone missing once again.
Another day, another issue for Lost Ark. This time, the newest servers in the game, and arguably the most problematic ones, have once again been affected.
The 30-day login bonus seems to have gone missing. While it is not the first time this happens on EUW, the players are growing more and more frustrated with the lack of attention their server is getting.
Speaking of events, the Arkesia Grand Prix is on. Make sure you race to the finish line to earn the event exclusive rewards. If you are looking for Lost Ark Gold, just google search Aoeah and check it out, use code FORUM for discount!
EUWest Login Event Missing Once Again in Lost Ark
Players have been reporting this issue for quite some time, with some players even claiming that it is not the first time a Lost Ark compensation event failed to deliver on its promises.
Now, it seems like the login event tab just disappeared entirely:
The event offered rewards for 10 days for EUW players, to help them catch up with others after moving to a new server to avoid massive Lost Ark queue times.
However, the event appears to have suddenly disappeared after just 4 extra days.
At the start of the Login Bonus Event, Lost Ark representative Standor replied to concerns on the game’s official forums, claiming to be investigating the issue. However, 4 days later, the event has ended with no word from Amazon Games regarding its intentions.
Recently, many issues keep popping up in Lost Ark. This past week we’ve had reports of heavy matchmaking problems or raids not working properly.
Even the voice chat tool is problematic. While it is expected that issues pop up here in there, especially in such a big game, what’s happening right now highlights a bigger issue.
That of small issues left forgotten in favor of other updates. While it is understandable for the game to move forward, there needs to be a balance between the two.
Although the game has some issues right now, Lost Ark is the best MMO we’ve had in years. There are many adventures to be had in Arkesia.
Challenge yourself by taking on the Alberhastic Guardian Raid, one of the toughest battles in the game.

The Lost Ark song system is an exciting shake-up of the genre, but one song is more coveted than the others by the players.
Requiem of Twilight is one of, if not the most sought-after song, outside of the essential ones like recall song. Due to its unique ability to build up rapport quickly, the song is vital to minimizing the grinding process that is building up rapport.
With so many characters, quests, and activities you have access to in the game, it’s easy to gloss over the small details. It’s highly likely that many players have already had the chance to pick up the Requiem of Twilight but failed to do so. If you’re one of them, don’t worry! You can still do a little backtracking and get it.
Rapport is one of the most underrated features of Lost Ark! The sooner you start grinding it, the sooner you unlock the best rewards.
If you are looking for Lost Ark Gold, just google search Aoeah and check it out, use code FORUM for discount!
What Is the Requiem of Twilight in Lost Ark
The Requiem of Twilight is a song that explicitly builds up your rapport with most NPCs. You can use it up to three times per day on each character you want to build rapport points with.
To use it, choose it from your library of songs when first interacting with a “rapport-able” character. Combine the music with some gifts, and you will save time while building your rapport.
To get the Requiem of Twilight, you will have to do a little sea exploration. If you’ve not yet started your sailing adventures, keep in mind that some areas are inaccessible without proper ship management and upgrading.
How to get Requiem of Twilight in Lost Ark
The song is a special quest reward from Tranquil Island, which is located east of the Feiton region:
Keep in mind that Tranquil Island is an adventure island which means you have to keep your eyes on your Procyon’s Compass to see if it’s available. Additionally, you can check the alerts that tell you which events are starting in the next 10 minutes.
To get it, you must first speak to Father Diruth to start the quest called “Island of Eternal Rest.”
Upon starting the quest, complete the objective by placing the flowers on the gravestones. After that, collect your reward from Father Diruth.
The quest is easy to miss because Tranquil island is not the most famous and is also quite far from other important ones.

Even though Lost Ark is an MMO through and through, the solo experience is pleasing. With the game being out for over a month now, players seem to have found the best solo class in Lost Ark.
Lost Ark has been out for a few years already in a few regions like Korea. Naturally, a lot of content that is slowly being introduced in the game has already been out there. This gave the developers a much easier time when it comes to balancing the experience of both solo and group players. If you are looking for Lost Ark Gold, just google search Aoeah and check it out, use code FORUM for discount!
There is a TON of content for you to soak in yourself. From exploring islands for tokens to solo raids, you can do most of the things a group can do on your own. That being said, it’s no secret that not every class and every player can do it successfully. It is harder to complete everything independently, especially in the more challenging raids.
We highly recommend exploring islands if you’re looking for some solo content but don’t know where to start. You can earn many precious rewards, but be sure to have your ship ready and upgraded. Many dangers lie ahead on the seas of Arkesia.
What Is the Best Solo Class in Lost Ark
When selecting the best class in Lost Ark for solo play, you have to consider what makes a class suitable for it. There are multiple factors we have to take into consideration:
-High burst damage and AOE to clear rooms efficiently -Tankiness because you are going to be the only one tanking -Mid to low cooldowns to avoid long downtimes and being surrounded by enemies -Kit simplicity to avoid unecessary deaths
If we take all of the points mentioned above and compare all the classes, there is no other answer than The Berserker. With an incredible amount of AOE, an easy to grasp kit, and buffs when the HP is low, the Berserker is by far the best class to play solo.
No other class comes even remotely close to the Berserker. With all of the damage spells being AOE, a lot of CC, and movement enhancing abilities, the Berserker is unmatched. Another big thing to consider is probably one of the best PvE abilities in the game, the Berserk Mode, which grants your class massive attack speed and damage potential. Want a real challenge on your solo account? Try to see if you can beat the Alberhastic Guardian Raid. You’ll be a true master of the Berserker if you can!
Also, while you’re still building your character, take part in the limited casual raids!
