I thought this was an interesting video on Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studios.

As I've said on the Fallout thread, Script Extender is on Alpha for Special Edition, currently. Slowly but surely we're getting there. And now Bethesda decides to release Skyrim "Super Duper Spectacular Ultimate Must Have Edition" and do some shit on their engine so there's need for yet another Script Extender and all mods available have to be converted once more for the new version. And then North Korea decides to launch their nukes on top of Bethesda offices because Kin Jong Un is absolutely sick of their bullshit. I wouldn't be surprised.

Glad SKSE64 is making progress after all. Hopefully it'll become a viable version of the game soon, seeing as the future entries in the Beyond Skyrim series are apparently only coming out for it.

HELP!!!!!! I'm having a real issue with Oblivion. I'm literally just one day out of the Prison Sewer, have absolutely not contracted any diseases, and yet merchants in the marketplace will not talk to me. The only option coming up is to pickpocket them (which I obviously don't want to do... I want to sell my excess items to them to get my weight back down and earn even a little coin so that I can proceed with the game). I have even started from the sewer gate 4 times now and each time encountered a different merchant who would not talk to me. I've gotten through this section of the game before without this sort of difficulty. What possibly could have triggered this. As I said, I am not a vampire and have not encountered anything that could have given me any diseases and my stats page is indicating 0 contracted diseases.

If you are using mods Nexus would be a better place to ask and give them a list of your load order. If you are not using mods, I dunno, never had anything like that happen to me and its been so long since I played Oblivion I wouldn't even be able to begin to remember where to start troubleshooting. The Nexus Oblivion Forums would be a better place to start.

TES6 spoilers. Ended up storming Cyrodiil with such overwhelming force because my character has basically mantled Lorkhan and become immortal, and took over so bad that Tiber Septim himself jumped ship and became my marshal half way through. So yeah, the TES mod for CK2 is fun lmao Now for those pesky Nibenese

Interesting, I didn't know there was so many other continents in the TES lore. Atmora (and Akavir, duh) were the only lands I knew about, but following the line of "everyone came from somewhere else" so common in fantasy, I suppose it's no surprise. They definitely have room for a lot of crazy stuff in upcoming titles, pity they take so long between releases.

It would be hard to top Skyrim - especially now, with the game being twice or more as big thanks to all the contributions of modders. The there's the issue of ageing engine and whether they're working on something new or working hard on expanding the old.

Whichever new TES will surpass Skyrim in terms of mods too, providing you give it time and proper mod tools, 2 things we always have with these franchises.

So CC content for SE was leaked and the prospect is looking dark as space. Pricy once more, port of items from previous games (armor set from Oblivion's Shievering Isles DLC, sword from Morrowind, so on so forth), mudcrab armor is indeed a thing (I shit you not), and the only one looking rather cool is the Survival mod made by Chesko, the guy who got death threats when he tried to jump on board the Paid Mod train in Bethesda's first failure back then. Still, pricy for just a "feature" mod, 8 US dollars is like half the price of actual content DLC.
Anywho, check the video if you want:

I solved it though by deleting and redownloading... appears to have been a bad download (flakey internet here).

But some advice: you do NOT want Tiber Septim anywhere near your character at any time, for any reason. Conquer a province in Atmora to land him and make him independent, hire the Morag Tong or Dark Brotherhood to get rid of him, marry him off into the court of a blood-drinking Tsaesci matriarch if you have to. But do not under any circumstances let Hjalti Early-Beard linger within your court or vassal realm. 2. An elf named Merrill is heir to the Aldmeri Dominion? With 64 martial rating? This is like the most perfect marriage of CK2, Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age in a single screenshot that I've ever seen.

I'm not a genocidal racist, I'm just saving the stupid humans from themselves, I swear. Cyrodiil put up a fight, but they eventually succumbed to elven supremacy, as shall they all. Skyrim wasn't far behind, as I'd already taken the western half of the province when I took Cyrodiil. Hammerfell and what's left of the Empire in High Rock are being troublesome, but their days are numbered. As for Morrowind and Argonia, I believe they'll be given a choice. Join, or be put to the torch. Then I'll turn my attention to Akavir. And yeah, I got lucky with Hjalti. I heard what happens if you keep him around, so I sent about a dozen assassins after him, all of which he killed, so I just challenged him to single combat and managed to beat him while only getting severely wounded. Take that humans, I killed Talos. And yeah, that's my daughter. She too is an immortal demigod at this point. Elder Kings is a lot easier to break than the base game.

Get a couple powerful artifacts, educate as a mage, pick up two mages guild specializations and a WOL focus on learning and your character may as well have tapped into the Heart of Lorkhan. Although, that's something I quite enjoy about EK. The player has a great deal of control over how lowly or mighty their characters are. You can be as meek as Fargoth or stronger than Talos himself. Out of curiosity, which bookmark did you start in? Are you running that via Ayrenn's First Aldmeri Dominion or did you begin as Hidellith or one of his vassals?

The map there is really odd. Not only are some of the different High Kingdoms united, but I notice you have an independent Kamal dynasty (Jalpeshek) smack dab in the middle of the Iliac Bay. The only times I've ever seen the Kamal set up shop in Tamriel is starting via the 3492 bookmark where Ada'Soom somehow manages to take Skyrim or Morrowind. That's very strange. If you'd ever like to try something weird/crazy, I highly suggest trying out a tribal Argonian realm. EK tribes are a good bit more viable than vanilla tribes are, especially Argonians since they get levies of battlemages in their tribal holdings (most other cultures have to invest a substantial amount of money and tech to do the same) and have oodles of easy raiding targets nearby. Especially Senchal.

I think I'm actually partly to blame for those Kamal - I'm kind of killing the people that would traditionally oppose them. They actually had a pretty strong foothold in Skyrim before I took it over.
But yeah, I look forward to cleansing that border gore in Hammerfell. People who would traditionally never even consider allying with each other are banding together to deal with the elven maniac knocking on their door.

Skyrim was great and all, but Morrowind... now that was amazing. The ash wastes, the lava fields, the mushroom villages, travelling via giant insect, fighting pterodactyls, escaping from a floating meteorite, getting your own robot as a quest reward, levitating over a forcefield made of ghosts to fight a mad god inside a volcano... Good times!

Omigosh, I'm really liking Clockwork City DLC for ESO so far. Nevermind that I always adored everything Dwemer or Dwemer-inspired (ancient steampunk FTW), I like the whole idea of merging magic and technology, which is exactly what would've happened in more scientifically-minded society. Also, I am - right now - playing a labyrinthine section as a robot mouse I love you TES.
