Speaking of ARs, here's an interesting variant chambered in 7.62x39 that also accepts AK mags.

Finally got my KKM match grade threaded barrel and compensator in the mail today and installed 'em on the G19. It even fits my holster. I could apply a silencer on my new barrel if I so choosed, but given that i shoot at an indoor range, it'd be pointless. Maybe when I get my own Hickok-esque compound i will... wow, that looks nice. Why would a suppressor be pointless? I think, in an indoor range, it'd be far more useful then an outdoor one. God knows that's how it works for me.

And guns need to be loud. The louder they are, the more powerful and fun they are! Thats a well known rule! On a serious note, there have been studies undertaken by the US military about issuing sound dampening devices to every infantry rifle. In the end they concluded the guns need to be loud in order to make suppressive fire work well. If the enemy gets shot at and all they hear is some bullets zipping by and supersonic cracks of the bullets thats not particularly intimidating. Suppressive fire rarely makes hits so its really just not that impressive to hardened combatants. Heck, one of the most intimidating weapons ever was the MG42, partially due to its sound it earned the name ''Hitlers buzzsaw'' and it made US GI's crap their pants just by hearing it in the distance. Now imagine you put a suppressor on it. EH. Come to think of it, guns are actually relatively un-intimidating weapons. Effective they are but if you get shot at its just a tiny piece of heavy metal flying through the air, its only bad if you are unlucky and it touches your body. Compare that to a huge dude swinging a two handed axe at you or getting engulfed in 2000 degree Celsius hot sticky burning liquid that melts the flesh off your skin and makes your friends smell like BBQ sausages. And thats ancient weaponry. Firearms really need all the intimidation factors they can get on the battlefield, and sound is one of them. But now I am rambling.

Vid on the newly adopted rifle for the Indian army, the AK-203. I really dig how it field strips and the grip for the dust cover.

Cause they make all those parts for your standard ak (safety braket, top cover with a rail for optics, adapter for AR stocks, plastic furniture on the hand gaurd, flash hider). Still looks like standard AK acuracy, tbh. At least from what I've seen on videos (never handled one before, myself).
Also, I get what your saying for the surpressors at your indoor range. One guy wouldn't make a difference. But everyone using a suppressor would make a difference for sure.

Hey, there is a mod of that gun for Fallout 4. Really? The SBR variant, or the full variant? Both, with the option to fire it full auto or semi. It's great as a sniper rifle but a little bit OP when used in that way.

Which one, the Bren 2?
Yeah, see, someone sat down one day, looked at the SCAR and thought "Hmmm. What if we make it even better and not look like it has an ugg boot for a stock?"

I don't like the Bren in the Video. While the 8'' barrel sure looks cool and is admittedly super handy the loss in velocity is just too much, especially for .223. .223 is a tiny projectile it needs any speed it can get to fragment and tumble and dump some energy into the target. If he had gone with an 11'' barrel, thats just 3'' more, he would have gotten much better ballistics, which means stopping power and less importantly range. Velocity vs. barrel length. See, 8'' gives almost 2300 fps while 11'' gives almost 2600. 2200-2300 fps is threshold velocity of hydrostatic shock and most .223 bullets don't fragment well at that velocity. 2600 though, thats 300 whopping fps more which does fragment .223 projectiles well. Out of the 8'' carbine it has significantly less energy than a .22 hornet rifle ( 50 grain @ 2700), thats a very small rifle cartridge used by hunters for small fox and rabbits. So yes, the X95 makes HECK of a lot more sense.

Unless he is driving one of those. fit in the vehicle yes but not be useable from the drivers side, theres a vast difference between a gun you can physically fit in the vehicle and one you can use within it, in that regard the bullpup will be the better gun in terms of penetration and stopping power, of course bullpups have their own shortcomings one of which tends to be the magazine issue, unless your using a 10 round box that doesnt drop below the mag housing... I get it though if it was me I would probably have a full long gun and an operator one, a couple of shotties (full and short) and a few pistols stashed in various parts of my vehicle, becasue you should always have the right tool for the job....

Interesting Croatian bullpup rifle, the "VHS". It has an ambi charging handle like a G36 and can be made to eject from the left or the right like a FAMAS, which solves a lot of the issues bullpups have when it comes to lefty shooters.

That and terms of portability. Sure you can fit a full sized rifle in the car, but if your car has passengers, then maybe you want something you can keep out of the way of them as well.

Came back from a gun shop and 9mm target ammo is even cheaper than I remembered it being. I bought a federal box of 50 and it merely cost $13.90 including tax. It's the second cheapest ammo after .22LR afaik.
