Michael Gamble @gamblemike What's your favorite looking armor from the trailer? We showed quite a few... They all looked good, but I still like the default (?) Ian S. Frazier @tibermoonAlso recommended: freezing an enemy, then using your biotic aegis to deflect his buddy's bullets into him so he shatters. #space Barrett Rodych ForgedPixels I also just discovered you can use it to deflect/reflect [REDACTED]'s attack, but only briefly... DID SOMEONE SAY SHATTER?!
I love doing that

The new training video has loads of new information! I'm especially interested in (spoiler tagged npc character information to be polite, but it's in the training video): Nakmor Kesh! Lady krogan engineer! Sounds like she's the head facilities manager on the Nexus. I'm so excited, you guys. Don't know if spoilery, but: It was very interesting knowing that the Nexus will actually launched incomplete and will be fully constructed once in the Andromeda galaxy. this is kind of a weird plan. They don't know if they will have any resources to build an addition of more than 120% of the current build (only to top part).

They probably know an approximate chemical composition of planets they're heading towards. If we can do that today (not to full extent but enough to tell something about far-away places in space) then we can do so with way more advanced science and technology.

Then you get sync-killed by a Banshee, Phanthom, Brute, Atlas, Hover-crab... Nah, if you keep charging - with maximum cooldown reduction - and dodge a bit, they can't hit you. Playing ME3 campaign as a Vanguard, I think I got sync-killed a max of three times? All in the final fight to defend the missile battery. Didn't even know non-Banshee enemies could sync-kill you until someone told me. (Guessing it's harder in MP, but I've never played MP - not a hater; just not really a multiplayer fan generally - so I wouldn't know...)

I didn't play as the human Vanguard much (it's the only one with the Vanguard and Nova combo) and if you get used to play without pause it functions mostly the same, as far as I recall.

I just learned reading that post that other enemies than Banshee can sync-kill you, lol...and I played ME3 twice as a Vanguard.

Pretty major difference between sync kills in SP and MP. You almost have to try to get sync killed in SP (I'm being a bit over dramatic ... but only a bit). I'm guessing that the clip is telling us that sync kills in ME:A SP will be more like the sync kills in ME3 MP ... not ME3 SP. In which case, they will be a legit threat that you have to deal with.
To me, ME3 SP on insanity fell somewhere between Bronze and Silver in MP. It's possible that ME:A SP difficulty levels track more closely to ME3 MP difficulty levels. Which might mean ME:A MP levels are even more challenging ... or could mean that the difficulty levels in ME:A more closely track between SP and MP to allow for that seamless transition from one to the other ... which to me, would make sense. But it could imply that balance changes to MP could end up affecting SP ... in order to keep the difficulty levels similar. To include sync kills.
I'm good with that ... for me, that would make SP much more interesting. I doubt everyone would agree ... especially those that don't play MP.

When are they ever going to at least pretend the story is a selling point? Everybody knows that the story is a selling point. Not for me. The story can be good, but a good game needs good gameplay. If the gameplay is trash i would rather read a Mass Effect book. And even while i love the trilogy it's obvious that the story wasn't that great either. We need a big good package.

Thanks for the answer. I didn't dislike the combat, but it seems clear to me they tried to find a middle ground between DAO and DA2, without completely succeeding.

Michael Gamble @gamblemike Did you see the numerous player melee weapons in the trailer? I count at least 3. P-V Belisle @pvbelisle1, 2 and 3. Yup P-V Belisle @pvbelisle and a JIRA was filled for one of them because of that video. Love the authenticity of this video, take current build -> capture
