I don't necessarily need head to toe plate, but some amount of heavy armor would be preferable when we see the Antaam in action. EDIT: Heavier than we've seen at any rate. I'm talking about their description in the DAO codex: History calls this the First Qunari War, but it was mostly a one-sided bloodbath, with the Qunari advancing far into the mainland. Qunari warriors in glittering steel armor carved through armies with ease. Their cannons, the likes of which our ancestors had never seen, reduced city walls to rubble in a matter of seconds. As opposed to, well, THe IRon Bull's bosomy man-pillows For that matter, another entry describes Qunari as "white haired, bronze-skinned giants" but most look too pale to qualify for that. Maybe they don't get enough sun in the southern lands? I understood the reference, I just want them to find a compromise between the DA2-DAI style Qunari and the kind described in the codex. You can get brown skin for Qunari in the character creator, not just pale grey, so they can have "bronze" skin. I guess it's rare, like not having horns.

"Glittering steel armor" =/= head-to-toe full plate. Beside, the qunari come from jungle lands that are hot. Why would they wear full plate armor anyway? They'd all die of heat exhaustion.

I hate Trespasser. Nearly ruined all of Inquisition for me, which is a shame since DAI is my favorite Dragon Age game. The whole DLC just seemed to be a giant middle finger from Bioware. What part(s) of the DLC were a "giant middle finger" in your opinion?

I hate Trespasser. Nearly ruined all of Inquisition for me, which is a shame since DAI is my favorite Dragon Age game. The whole DLC just seemed to be a giant middle finger from Bioware. Yeah, I'm not really the biggest fan of Bioware's approach to invalidating the Avvar and Dalish faith while treating the Andrastian faith as if it's sacrosanct, or setting up a scenario where all the minor progress we've made for the elves will likely be undone (Briala with the Dales, Clan Lavellan with Wycome) because You Know Who needs to screw things up yet again. It's like Origins - I honestly don't feel like playing through it again knowing that my royal boon will be screwed over because I'm not playing as a human noble. That's why I prefer a game like Fallout 4, where the factions are flawed without any one being shown favoritism over the others; you never feel like Bethesda is punishing you for siding with the Brotherhood of Steel or the Railroad instead of another main faction, even though the respective factions task you with making a difficult choice because you're positioned against groups who aren't evil but are ideologically opposed to you (making things more complex in the process). In addition to making certain outcomes mandatory in spite of our actions (Vivienne's success, the return of the Circles, elves disappearing even when there's elven progress taking place in the world), I don't feel comfortable with the prospect of saving the world again just to maintain the status quo (it's not a status quo worth protecting). I can understand how some people may feel differently, of course, but that's just how it comes across to me.

There were three main things for me. 1) The streamlining of the outcomes. With the vanilla game, it seemed that the choices you made actually mattered for the characters or factions involved. However with Trespasser they force the same things regardless of the playthrough's choices into being the canon. Even Mass Effect 3 kept the illusion of your choices mattering better with the Extended Cut. 2) The way they handled retiring the Inquisitor. Other than the disgusting idea of them doing so by removing the Inquisitor's hand thus obviously they can't do anything anymore(thankfully Patrick Weekes clarified this wasn't the intention but it still feels awfully convenient until proven otherwise), the fact that they take a story that was wrapped up and not only unwrap it with the Solas revelation and make a personal connection but then squander that by making all that irrelevant with their idiotic 'New Protagonist Every Game' rule they have set for themselves. They made it so at best the Inquisitor gets the Hawke treatment and that does not bode well at all since they ruined many people's Hawke who is an easier protagonist to handle than the Inquisitor. The only glimmer of hope with this one is either they change their minds or have DA4 be a dual-protagonist game. 3) The characters and romances. Now some characters and romances were handled great, but the majority were handled horribly. To use the one that effected me personally, the Josephine romance. Despite her romance being perfect for it, in Trespasser there is nothing involving marriage at all. Cullen and Sera get the full thing(guess Bioware still thinks only female players want to get married) and most if not all the others at least get to talk about it in the future, but Josephine's, the 'Disney' romance who is all about family, doesn't even get the option to discuss it.
