I finally gave the Teralyst a shot too. Or actually two. After failing solo last night because I went in completely unprepared - I shot off all four synovias (synoviae?) and then my Vectis Prime ran out of ammo and the just-reset Aklex really didn't do anything - I tried again today and brought two very good things along: ammo restore and @vella. We killed it relatively smoothly at our first attempt. So BSN Eidolon hunting groups are proven to be a viable thing!

Oh man, I just watched TennoCon live. They showed off a lot of good stuff to come.
- Fortuna, a Corpus penal colony on Venus, the next big open world - modular secondary weapons much like the melee zaws from Cetus - hoverboards! - modular constructed MOA pets ... and the fucking Railjack, a multi-crew combat ship that they took to orbit and fought a Corpus spaceship and its fighter complement with.
I suppose once this goes live, other co op games have a bit of catching up to do.
Also, the continuation of the storyline was announced, titled "The Old New War".
Pretty amazing stuff. I had to keep reminding myself that this is free to play.
Edit: Nyx Prime and Rhino Prime will be unvaulted this summer.

I watched it too, couldn't understand half of it though, obviously it's been a while since I played plus the fact that I never played it that extensively to begin with. The ship combat looked cool, sad (for me generally speaking) it's all focused on crews and having people with you. Even in my BF times, it's always just soloing.
BTW, the free Ash Prime we got for watching the thing, I assume you receive it as a "message" like all the other stuff, if I don't open the account for say a couple of months without "claiming it" , will it still be there afterwards? or should I just re download the game (remember I don't currently have it installed) and open my account to make sure? It's just that I don't feel like downloading the thing right now.

I finished the main story quests in warframe and I am not sure what I think about the sacrifice ending. It was a bit of "huh?" For the moment I think I will retire to Cetus and go fish.

Like the pros we are [/ul]
I can't claim any special Eidolon related expertise other than "have gun, will travel", but I can offer to spam Blessing with Trinity to keep the group and the lures alive. Have maxed Energizing Dash and a stack of pizza to keep her going.

A bit late to the eidolon talk, but here's my take: I have yet to tackle any of them, but it looks like we could start a BSN hunting group, no?
I have finally bit the bullet and did enough fishing and mining to craft an amp, and while the tedium was real (fish a fish so you can craft the bait for another fish, in a space-magic-ninja-mass-murder-simulator? here's a better idea, DE: why not let my volt enter the water and cast his 4? ), the result is nothing short of amazing. Had stalker drop on me on a solo axi fissure, punked him in short order with my operator alone.
I used to be big on Banshee, and while I still her gameplay, I am afraid I have joined the ranks of the Loki-masterrace. Invisibility is beyond broken in this game, but Loki has such a deep bag of tricks, as long as you have a decent gun, no content is too high level! Still wish we could change the loki statue in the dojo to Banshee another frame though!
Can you please explain to me exactly what makes Loki so great? I have Loki Prime but I hardly use him. He just doesn't impress me.

Loki truly began clicking with me when I managed to get two things: strong guns, and enough duration to make invisibility last long enough. Both requirements are a matter of personal taste. For me, getting a duration of about 22-25 seconds per cast was the turning point.
Since in warframe invisibility is almost the same as invincibility, as long as you are careful of where you are when it's time to refresh your 2, you are basically set. This makes Loki efficient, but a bit boring. Mixing in his other powers and their augments however spices things up. Irradiating disarm provides fantastic cc, excellent for those times when killing is not necessary: not only it makes enemies fight each other, but it also significantly diminishes their dps and capability to inflict harm. Decoy is an excellent way to control aggro, so your team does not have to suffer increased levels of attention from your invisibility. Saviour decoy switches the power's utility around: instead of putting the decoy in plain sight, you want to hide it away, and it basically becomes a free revive. I am personally big on hushed invisibility, which basically grants loki banshee's passive, silent guns: this alllows you to pick your targets, and combined with his other powers, it lets you control the battlefield; goes great with sniper rifles, since enemies tend to not move too much, great for those juicy headshots; this is without mentioning the sillier things, like silent flame throwers, or rocket launchers, or pirate cannons the Zarr. Admittedly, his switch teleport is only situationally useful, as is the safeguard switch augment - though in a coordinated team, it can become a very powerful tool: imagine a duo where one frame is invincible, while the other is invisible! Even his passive can be used to great effect: wall latch, and rain explosives down without fear of self-damage! On top of this, invisibility grants a monstrous mutiplier to melee, so outside of covert lethality shenaningans (for which both Ash and Ivara are a better fit), Loki makes for the best invisi-meat-blender out there.
All in all, I find Loki's deep bag of tricks to allow him to be, if not the best fit, at least competitively useful for almost every type of mission out there; he is great in solos, pugs, coordinated teams, ... Also, he can be built and played in a number of ways, a variety I enjoy.
Apologies for the wall of text, I enjoy the chance of theory crafting a little that's what makes Loki click with me, but the beauty of this game is that there is so much variety out there! I do hope you'll give trickster prime another chance; if not, I am sure there are enough other ways to be a space ninja to keep the game fun for you!
Different topic, the best unexpected consequence of the Sacrifice for me was the chance to dust off the Tonkor again: pick Excal Umbra, activate transference, go invisible any time there's enemies in sight, enjoy the fireworks

Office is moving and I kinda have no energy to play my melee fast paced style when I come home atm. I need to chill a bit to relax - but I'm looking forward to it, since I know there is great tunes to be heard in Warframe.

Hey y'all! Let's get together and do some Tridolol hunting / relic farming / idk mining? Add me on Discord if you already haven't. We can set up a private group (that way we don't boggle up the server and avoid anyone entering the voice chat).

I can recommend the Vaykor Hek and the Synoid Gammacor.

I did download the game a couple of days ago to see if they gave me the Ash Prime (they did). I don't know in which platform are the other guys here on though.
