You don't need to do that (but interesting). My Trevelyan is Andrastian, only don't think, he and his kind must be closed. Allied with the Mages, questioned the Chantry (not the Maker or/and Andraste), defended Varric to kept Hawke's secret, etc. Nothing about pagan, not self-insert or extremely rough. Simple rivalry. (Now first time this succeeded – before Cassandra was more friendly.) Later she will be more friendly, I suppose, I will help her to rebuild the Seekers.

The public truce still did not succeed – I don’t have the patience for this quest. (Probably my least favourite part of the game! It's a block – some of my characters stuck here because I was not patient enough!)

Karl does not give a shit to the Game, and since the first minute he meets with them, he hated Celene and Gaspard to. Karl thought they deserve each other – but hated the whole shit he gets involved (started to see, it's not a big loss that not he's the heir of the Trevelians...), so, he just wanted to survive the night without die from the boredom. During the time, some of the filthy things revealed: so, he was just disgusted with everything – and even doesn't care about Empire – so he thought, if it possible, he rather gives Orlais to the elves – in the Circle, he knew some nice elves... Now seriously: he trusted Leliana, who suggested, Briala is a good solution. And Leliana knew Orlais. So: if they can't rule together – then Briala will. Briala seemed grateful, and Karl was satisfied, that the night is over.

In the Skyhold a revered mother waited for him – she said she needs Leliana and Cassandra, because they're candidates of the Divine election. Karl was Andrastian – just as most of his family and the Circle... but he didn't believe in the Chantry – why would? The Chantry didn't give him anything just shame and contempt – deprived him of his family and heritage (even if in the light of the Orlesian ball seemed not a big problem...). So: he was not really impressed, he must to deal with the Chantry's problems. Anyway, he spoke with Cassandra and Leliana...

He was tired from it... but inside the Skyhold Josephine waited for him.
He must judge... a box, filled with Florianne's dismembered corpse. So: let it be! He decided, the Florianne's mortal remains should serve the greater good!
