She was out cold unconscious. Haha haha

I adore this brief conversation at The Pearl brothel in Dragon Age: Origins: Mercenary: What's the password? The Warden: Err... sausage? Mercenary: Sausage? Bloody no. The delivery is just perfect.

Blackwall: Corypheus. One of yours, isn't he? Dorian: One of mine? Like a pet? Like a giant darkspawn hamster with aspirations of godhood? Dorian: 'Dorian, why can't you look after your little friends? Corypheus peed on the carpet again!' Dorian: In this analogy, the carpet is Haven. Blackwall: Is he or is he not a Tevinter Magister? Dorian: Meaning 'the source of everything bad and evil in the world'? They are the same, yes? Blackwall: Certainly feels that way at times.

One of my utmost favorite lines is from Corypheus in Inquisition. "Beg that I succeed, for I have seen the throne of the gods and it was empty." A simple line, but it gives me goosebumps every time I play. Annoys me to be honest, there was a lot of potential with the character if they handled it right.

(starts retyping every banter from legacy DLC between Hawke-Varric-Anders Fenris). (thinks better of it)
But, really, wonderfully done. If I had to single out one, it would be Anders-Fenris dialogue starting with Fenris saying that Anders ran away from the Circle, ran away from the Wardens, and Anders responding in kind, pointing out that Fenris did a lot of running himself.
From inquisition, my favorite so far is the banter with Dorian where he says something like:
So we pretend. We pretend that Tevinter Empire can be rebuilt. We pretend that Qunari can be defeated (etc).
No, it’s not a funny dialogue, but it is great, and captures the oh so familiar feeling for anyone who came from a domineering culture that has crumbled into dust. I know, some folks don’t like the social commentary in Bio games, but well, I’ve loved the “real McCoy” there.

My list of favorite lulzy lines could fill a book, so I'll go with some meaningful ones. There's...
The Sera quote in my sig.
Warden: I don't know what to believe. Flemeth: A statement that possesses more wisdom than it implies.
Sigrun: Isn't perspective wonderful? You'd think people who are so tall would have more of it.
Mouse: Simple killing is a warrior's job. The real dangers of the Fade are preconceptions, careless trust... pride. Keep your wits about you, mage. True tests never end.
Caridin: Atrast nal tunsha. May you always find your way in the dark.
Carver: I'm proud to call you brother. That's gone unsaid too long.
Fenris: Nothing could be worse than the thought of living without you.
Vivienne: This joining is a significant step upward for you. Whatever could be next? Stewardship? A title? Sera: I have a title. It's wife.
Merrill: Poor Anders. (...) I think he's broken the thing he wanted to save.
Merrill: Anders... there's no such thing as a good spirit. There never was. All spirits are dangerous. I understood that. I'm sorry that you didn't.
Kalah Brosca: You can try, but you'll never get it off you. Dust Town... it sticks to the skin. You don't bleed red enough for them, and nothing's gonna change that.
Malcolm Hawke: My magic will serve that which is best in me, not that which is most base.
Inquisitor: All of this happened because of fanatics and arguments about the next world. It's time we start believing in this one.
Cole: It's dangerous when too many men in the same armor think they're right.
Merrill: Be careful what you believe in. A lot of things burn in that fire. Anders: Burning isn't necessarily bad. Fire can cleanse. Merrill: I don't think people are cleansed by fire. I used to believe in things, too. Now, I think maybe it's better just to believe in people.
Isabela: I've heard, "Get away from me, you pirate hag!" more times than I care to count. Aveline: Doesn't that bother you? Isabela: Why should it? They don't know me. I know me.
Sten: Destiny is superstitious nonsense. Life is not a journey that ends with you arriving or not arriving at the proper destination. Life is what you do. Life is the duties you fulfill.
Varric: This is fighting back. Solas: How does passively accepting your fate constitute a fight? Varric: In that story of yours... the fisherman watching the stars, dying alone. You thought he gave up, right? Solas: Yes. Varric: But he went on living. He lost everyone, but he still got up every morning. He made a life, even if it was alone. That's the world. Everything you build, it tears down. Everything you've got, it takes. And it's gone forever. The only choices you get are to lie down and die or keep going. He kept going. That's as close to beating the world as anyone gets.

There are so many. It's not the best bit of dialogue ever, but I just came across a bit a thought was sweet.
Cassandra: Sera, about you and the Inquisitor... Sera: Right, here we go. What is it from you? Cassandra: If you are going to pursue this... make it worth it. Be happy. Sera: You cagey, boxed-up, kissy romantic! Cassandra: There is no need to tell anyone that. Vivienne: No need because it is hardly a secret, my dear. Sera: Hey, Shiny? We telling anyone? Inquisitor: Does yelling it while we walk around count? Sera: No. Wait. Yes! Sorry, Cassandra. But thanks.

Everything Purple F!Hawke says is gold. And there's so much I can't even pinpoint what I like most. Also really liked the Inquisitor's bear puns in JoH.
But I thought this line by those Fereldan miners was funny too.
"Earl! Eyes on her face, you lush!"

One of my favourite dialogues is in Dragon Age Inquisition when Hawke talks to Varric in front of the war room during Here Lies the Abyss quest, reminiscing about the past. Hawke's first scene was also pretty emotional. And by "pretty" I mean the most emotional moment there has ever been in any videogame. The Hawke of DAI is so filled with melancholy, I just could't stand it I left my Rayla Hawke with a bunch of friends, Isabela and the throne of Kirkwall, and in mere one years' time she was all alone in some godforsaken fortress and helping some stupid organisation in solving elven god bullfuck. I'm so gonna kill Solas in DA4 for putting her through all this. She sounds so tired, almost defeated in DAI, as if she was already ready to die. In terms of comic relief, almost everything the humorous female Hawke says is great. There are so many silly lines that it doesn't even make sense to post them all here. Anyway, some of my favourites that come to mind: Isabela: Speaking of playing, why don't we go off and have a little bit of... girly fun? Aggressive female Hawke: You think I'm girly??!! Humorous Hawke gives copper merigolds to Donnic: I have it on good authority that you are going to enjoy this! Something more serious, from Merrill's rivalry path: Merrill: Why have you come? Is it time for another lecture about how reckless I'm being? Hawke: I care about you, Merill. I wanted to check on you. Merrill: Please, don't. Please don't say that you are doing this for my sake. I don't need you, or Marethari, or anyone else to look after me. I can save my people with this mirror, just stay out of it! Hawke: Someone has to be there where this all falls apart. Merrill: Stop trying to save me! I've given up everything to rebuild my people's past, and you've just thrown my sacrifice into the garbage! Get out of my house, I never want to see you again! Plus the whole discussion in Hawke Estate afterwards... It's really touching Some great romance-specific humorous lines: "You know, we might have to try that a few more times to really get the meaning" Merrill: I'd like to speak to you abour our... sleeping arrangements. Do you think he (dog) could use another bed? Hawke: "Is it because he watches us when we... you know."

The organization she refers to is The Inquisition. And I'm on the fence about the time being retconned. I wish it had more in game support. The books and comics have always been their own canon world one could ignore if it doesn't match their canon. So if some of us want to believe the game over the book, and still call it ten years, I'm cool with it.

So if some of us want to believe the game over the book, and still call it ten years, I'm cool with it. what book? it was very clear while playing act 3 that it's at 9:37 dragon (to me at least). if people want to believe there was a year between what happend in kirkwall to inquisition it's fine, but it's still a fact astablished in dragon age 2 that there is a 2-3 years gap between the events in varric's story to when cassie interogated him. if people want to fill the gap in their head fine by me, i sure as hell did. and if they want to headcanon it was 1 year and not 3-4, they are welcome to it, doesn't change the fact in the actual timeline it was more tehn that =) The timeline that I left DA2 with after playing twice was the following. 9:30, Hawke flees the Blight 9:31 Hawke is done with working for Meeran/Athenril and the year of excitement ends with going to the Deep Roads 3 years pass 9:34 Act 2 begins 1 year passes during Act 2 3 years pass, referenced by Fenris 9:38 Act 3 begins. 1 year of crazy. Ending Hawke's journey in 9:39. 1 year of being Viscount/being on the run 9:40 Varric brought in for questioning by Cass. It was only after coming on to the forums that people started correcting me. But I've discussed with yet others that they had the same assumptions from in game references.
