I'll bet that we all have our own gadgets like the phone and i love my phone and there are more gadgets as well. But what would you like to see in the future that can make your life easier maybe a robot or something else. And which other gadgets do you already have at home in your car anything ??? And which gadgets would you all really miss if they took it away from you ???

Love how the female robot with Fallon has a 'meh' look on her face, while the male robot is all relaxed...

Also, we have something similar to that keyboard thing already - called leap motion (no good as a keyboard - no lights or anything) it reads the movement of your hands and fingers to control various items (home automation type stuff, I think).

And maybe in a couple of years we will live in cities that looks like this one. I'm a little less optimistic here and think in 20-30 years we will be living in cities like this:

And what's wrong with Ryan Reynolds ??? Nothing's wrong with Ryan Reynolds! I'm just shivering at the thought of love bots. I will answer your thread! I think google glass will become a regular thing....internet eyeglasses or even contacts. It just makes sense with the millenials "busy lives".....but then how will they take selfies, I wonder?

Has anyone tried that VR thing yet? I'm really curious about it but I think it's a bit too expensive for now.... think I'll wait for it to drop on price and till they've released ALL the versions, pro, mo, elite, Elise or whatever they're gonna call them. Cause we all know once they release something, ten new "improved" versions will be released soon after for half the price, like two months after lol.

In soviet Russia war changes you! To answer the question: I see digital implants coming, big time, but not for the greater good but for complete surveillance. I think in the coming decades people will be required to have a chip implanted in them that contains all the personal data and allows satellites to track you down in an instant. And people, naive and shortsighted as they are, will welcome this new feature because it will have an impact on the crime rate / ever increasing terrorism and it will come with all manners of practical features to sugarcoat it - like paying without credit cards or cash (cash will disappear in the coming 30 years), real time health data transfer including on-the-spot diagnosis plus prescriptions, accident-detector that informs police and ambulance about crimes or accidents, general data storage - you name it. We're already extremely track- and traceable thanks to GPS, tire sensors, smartphones etc., but this implant will perfect it.

And maybe in a couple of years we will live in cities that looks like this one. I'm a little less optimistic here and think in 20-30 years we will be living in cities like this: I have no faith in humans. We're a child like war mongering species that will destroy ourselves before we ever get to a Star Trek like utopia. We're better at building bigger and better machines to kill plants, animals and ourselves, so the post-apocalypse image is more like our city of tomorrow. Back to the topic, I love technology, why couldn't they have this stuff when I was a kid. I have my smart 4k tv, my computers, laptop and Microsoft Pro 4. Sure I would like phones better if it didn't have that tiny keyboard that I can't type worth a damn on.

They seem to be doing alot of neat stuff with VR. Battle Front Xwing VR combat, Superhot with VR, and eve valkyrie are just a few examples. But I'm right there with you on the price being prohibitive. I'm def interested, but until the price drops, or they start making serious leaps and bounds, I'm in the wait and see camp. I have a smart watch, the Samsung S2. But the software to run it on the phone, started causing all manner of headaches with my Bluetooth. I would go into my settings to pair a new device, and it would freeze then reboot. I managed to get it to run, but I had to give it blanket permissions to all my phones personal data. And that is something I don't like doing. I was able to restrict it, after I got it running, but still. Any app shouldn't need a blanket yes to a device, to install and run. To me, that's just shady. I seem to have lost my watch though, no idea where it went. Have the charger on my desk, but can't find the watch. I'm sure it'll turn up, once I clean up my room though, so I'm not worried. Its a shame too, because the smart watch is very convenient to have. But giving access to read/write messages, and read my contacts to even open the app to customize my watch face, is just not something I'm comfortable with. I wouldn't mind getting the pebble, its fairly inexpensive on amazon last time I checked. But the company went under, so its going to rise in price very quickly. I also have a TOS Star Trek Bluetooth communicator that I love to death. But I can't say I get many phone calls anymore, so its more just collecting dust right now. If this was a few years ago, when people still made/received phone calls then it would be amazing.
