Just saw this by way of /r/earthporn, thanks to /u/keepyourheart. Apparently The Storm Coast is in Iceland. m.imgur.com/a/iY7NS

It's a known geological phenomenon. There's a small pool in Israel which has the same shaped rocks as well.

I believe the hexagonal base of these stone prism indicates basalt - so some place with volcanism seems like a good bet.

Fine. Bring on the giant spiders. Lots and lots of giant spiders.

Why is the Giant's Causeway listed on a visit Scotland website? We have been to the Giant's Causeway three times, and all three times it snowed, not rained. And one of them was in the middle of May, LOL! I always had the Storm Coast compared to the Giant Causeway in my head, but it's interesting there are similar formations in other countries, probably they had volcanoes at some point too.

Didn't they say the pictures were from Ireland? There is at least one similar beach in Iceland called Reynisfjara. It has got these kinds of rocks (Stuðlaberg), dark sand on the beach and ominous rock formation out in the sea. On could imagine them being some of those paragon statues, worn down with time.
