Am I the only one who actually thinks MEA will be a good game?

I think it'll be a wonderful game that pays respect to the ME Trilogy, and brings a little something more to it that will make it stand out from its predecessors.

Couldn't have said it better myself! I think a lot of fans will likely enjoy the game once they get their hands on it!

I think it's going to be pretty good but, like all Bioware games of late, it will have some significant flaws.

Thank you man for bringing some positively! I pre-ordered the super-deluxe ed when it came out and i don't even play multiplayer but I wanted to support Bioware best I could. Recent comments and videos really start to.... make me rethink about my purchase. But my mind kept saying "stay strong, Mass Effect has always been there for me". Just seeing those gifs of the N7 armor from that badass trailer, phew it feels good again. That trailer is pure goosebumps. I'm with you, MEA is going to be a good game. Is it going to be 'greatest game'? probably not but gotta stay optimistic!

I'm hoping this game is a contender for GOTY. That's about my expectations right now.

I haven't played a single BioWare game I hated. There's been varying degrees in quality but ultimately I've enjoyed their output from the day I first played Knights Of the Old Republic all the way to Inquisition. Even an average BioWare RPG is still better than 90% of RPG's out there.

Personally, given what I've seen of it, I'll enjoy it overall. You'll get people whinging about it being the worst game since Superman 64 or it's not like an old school top-down RPG  (that they're personally nostalgic about) etc, but that's the internet for you.

Bioware would have had to really shit the bed for me to lose faith in MEA. I liked the MET (accepted even the hated endings), DA:I (even more after Trespasser DLC), and there's nothing so far that has me worried about MEA. One way they could have lost me completely was if they turned it into an FPS game, cause I seriously hate those types of games.

But I'm 100% sure this game will be my GOTY.

No problem! I know that's technically Alec Ryder in the trailer, but as long as I can get some sweet N7 gear I'll be ready to jam! The game just looks too fun not to enjoy!

I think there's a very good chance of that. It's easily one of the most highly-anticipated games of the year. The only other games that I believe could beat it would probably be either The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or Red Dead Redemption 2. There could be others that are revealed at E3, but Mass Effect has historically been very powerful at winning GotY awards.

I definitely agree to that! Been playing BioWare games since KOTOR as well, and they've never let me down! Mileage may very with each game, but overall I've always enjoyed the stories and characters in BioWare's unique worlds!

Im one of those rabid foaming out the mouth at the thought of a new mass effect type of fans so no matter what its going to be great for me.

I have no doubt it will be a good game and I'll enjoy it very much.
