This is (or at least part of) a scarf I knitted PURPLE AND RAINBOW YESSSS
Its made using this REALLY fluffy thick wool and it was super hard to do
its also insanely long... like what you see there is about half of it... its massive I should do a size comparison between me and the scarf to see which is taller Its big fluffy purple rainbow and warm also kinda itchy

Thank you its a few years old by now and it keeps rolling itself up lengthways but its still a good scarf My mom bought the wool for me... I cant remember if it was a specific type or if it was like real wool but it was really hard to knit took me quite a long time to do

Yeah, I've worked with some yarn that's a real pain in the arse. Sometimes changing from metal to wood needles or vice versa can help with finicky yarn. Personally, I still have a problem with yarn slipping the needle so I like to work with wood needles as it seems to grip the yarn better.

I love my bamboo needles, they are sticky enough so that the yarn won't slip but still so smooth that it's easy to knit.

Unfortunately, that stitch (stockinette stitch) is always going to curl like that. One thing you can do with the finished scarf is sew on a fabric (such as fleece or flannel) backing, which can help keep it more flat.
Love your colour combo, it's right up my alley.

As much as I love my expensive rosewood needles (so pretty) they aren't as easy to work with as bamboo. At least, not with the yarn I'm working with right now. I don't think I'll be adding any more rosewood to my collection. I've seen some pretty cool glass needles that might be good for working with some of the coarser yarns but I do wonder if they break easily!

Here ya go! Basically, I ordered the same colours of yarn as General's scarf, LOL. All sock yarn, intended for socks, fingerless gloves, and a hat.

I am an ambivert, and I have knitted in the past. It is nothing to glorify, though. I created a scarf and a blanket. I am almost certain there was something else too, but I cannot remember.
I apologize for the lack of photo's. I do know what happened to the scarf, or the blanket, nor do I have any photos of them.

Man, I used to do that stuff...nothing so fancy though. With knitting I know only the basic stitch and with crochet I learned the zig-zag stitch as well as the basic..not very well though. I've also done some macrame, ceramics and sewing in the past. My mom was very artsy/craftsy at times and taught my sister and I the basics, but she was also a big reader and put more importance on a good book over any craft project, so I was more inclined to have my nose buried in a book, than get too serious about a a knitting project.

Well, maybe I need to get out more. Haven't seen a pair of knitting needles in a long time. Well- not to make assumptions here but I'd bet at least one luxury yarn expertly knit sweater that a lot of us are introverts. (I am, in fact an introvert) You most certainly are not!!!
