Hi everyone! I am really frustrated right now.. after 3.5 Hours i still cant get into the actual game. During the Intro once you see the Hyperion from behind right when it should cut to Ryder waking up.. it freezes.
My Specs: Win 10 I5 3550 8gb Ram GTX 780
I Already tried: -Searched to any Corsair related software.. found none -Tried Windowed,Full Screen and Borderless.. also alt Tabbing -Starting the game directly from the Trail.exe -Reinstalled Graphics Driver -Set exeptions in my Antivirus -Removed all unnessary periphery(only W-Lan Stick,Keyboard, Mouse and Gamepad left)
Nothing seems to work.
I also should mention that the game does not get a Network connection.
Anybody who can help me would be my hero^

I cleanly uninstalled the current driver and reinstalled the older one. Still the same..
I am starting to lose my mind..

update or repair the game through origin Already done.. multiple times.. I am now moving it do my SSD.. but with my luck today that wont fix it either^^ Edit: moving to the SSD has not helped.. I will hope a solution comes up but if not i have to redownload it.. wich takes 13-14 Hours with my Internet Speed.. Everything else runs without Problems(DA:I,The Witcher 3, Ghost Recon Wildlands, NBA 2k17 etc..)

The only thing I can suggest is set all settings to lowest possible (including resolution) and then see if you can get past the intro cutscene, then restore your visual settings.
Also.. don't use quickstart, create custom character (and then just select default ryder if thats what you want).. for some reason Quickstart causes my intro to run at 5fps and stutter the whole time until my character is given dialogue options.

Sadly it didnt work. I now have fully redownloaded to my SSD.. now it also freezes when the text right before the Game Title comes in.

Hey, did you find any solution to this? I've been posting this theory of mine in places:
I've had this problem as well and the only consistent solution I've found - played until first landing on Aya, no freezes so far - is turning on V-Sync. Others have suggested using Windowed Mode. Since freezes seem to happen only in pre-rendered cutscenes, the two solutions and the problem might be related somehow with FPS. If having FPS issues due to V-Sync, which many do, another solution would be to cap FPS via console: gametime.maxvariablefps 61 Or whatever FPS you wish (V-Sync caps mine at 144). I haven't got around to testing this last solution yet, will update later.
Update: using the console command doesn't seem to do anything, fps still spikes during cutscenes. But, adaptive v-sync is another way to do it, and should work better than in-game v-sync. AMD cards should have something similar as well.

Try running with low settings and see if it still crashes.
