This might be a bit early, but I'm interested in how long the game is, both in terms of hours and/or in comparison to previous ME games?
1) How long is the main storyline?
2) How long is the storyline on a normal playthrough (I.e. Loyalty missions done, large portion of side quests done but not all)?
There was all that talk from Bioware about there being as many lines of dialogue as ME2 and ME3 put together, but I'm getting the feeling that ME:A isn't any longer than the previous games if you exclude the open world filler fetch quests.

I won't include story spoilers, but I will use the spoiler tag anyway just in case for people who don't wnat to know anything. After 37 hours, I have: Reached 100% planet viability on the first 3 planets, completed many side quests, but still have lots of side quests left to do.
I believe I am somewhere around half way through the game currently - there are 5 total planets, and we know there is going to be a final act of somesort that will be quite lengthy too.
Hope that helps. I think at my pace, I'll get 75-80 hours out of this game minimum before it's complete

Someone on another thread said a completionist run is around 120 hours. I'm at 38 hours and I've reached 100% on only to planets (verus ticktak who was able to do 3). Though that includes like 2 hours max of multiplayer.

I read 40-80 hours. That would be about half as long as it took me to finish DAI (140h). For an open world game it's fairly short then. I'm not complaining though!
My preferred length for an RPG these days is no more than 60 hours tops. The trilogy was perfect that way. The shorter, the more I feel like replaying.

Think I have 30 hours in single player. 4 planets close to or at 100% On the last planet now. Haven't done any companion quests yet, and have no idea how far I am in the story mission. Haven't found any arks yet either. Am avoiding the "additional quests".
