Point of no return in romances?

I'm still a bit bummer about how formulaic most of the main romances are... I thought BW didn't want to do that this time. Most of it seams to be still be hinging on the loyalty missions. I'm over 50 hours in now and - although I took most flirt option - I'm still nowhere near any real romance plot. Yea, Cora did drop a few lines, but other then that, zippo.

I have nooo idea on the Jaal/PB stuff or what happens when you flirt with multiple characters, but I was told that the prima guide said three flirts is sufficient for showing interest. I watched the Vetra video and I can confirm that it will be absolutely clear when you want to make the choice of becoming exclusive or not. (The Liam romance path was the same way as well.) This will happen after the loyalty mission is completed so hopefully you'll have a better idea at that point.

I liked your "two people holding hand" description -- I remember wondering wtf that icon was supposed to mean when I first saw it. Even googled with no luck. That was bizare. =p

Damn I said yes to Jaal but then did the QTE to kiss Reyes when stealing the Booze. It now seems to have broken Jaal as I can't even interact with him on the Tempest.

Can someone confirm if the QTE is the point of no return with Reyes or not so I can figure out how far back I have to go?

Does even flirting with Reyes give you the journal entry that says something like you found a love interest outside the Tempest?

Most of the romances have something along the lines of the LI directly asking you if you are serious. Something like is this serious? I just want to make sure. I think PeeBee goes on about wanting strings and having a real relationship. But for the 3 I have done it was a pretty obvious thing. It wasn't just another flirt option and then you are locked in. You flirt. They respond with the message about being serious or what not, then you have the yes, no, just friends, im sorry, sort of options. But I can only speak for Vetra, Suvi, and PeeBee.

It is sort of a disappointment how cut and dry this is. I would have liked an option the next time I spoke to another i had been flirting with to have them express anger/disappointment or even ask me if I was sure since they were interested. No instead everyone I ever flirted with just pretends it never happened.

Did you shoot Akksul and destroy the facility? Doing both will also stop you and Jaal from becoming a couple.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it was when female Ryder said "you and you only" I realised it wasn't just a casual relationship like with Kelli.

Wish it had telegraphed more clearly that it was a full-on relationship earlier, have to go back more than 4 hrs of play now
