So by virtue of my job as a contributor to the website TechRaptor, I requested the review of Mass Effect: Andromeda for the website. I finished the game, but the review is still being formulated...there is a lot to talk about. So what I did was contribute a quick thought video, a short preview, of the game as a small side diversion to keep up interest. More or less, here is an except from the video. I encourage you all to check it out here on our website. Or watch the video below. " Andromeda, in a lot of ways, feels like the first Mass Effect. It has a rather unintuitive inventory and user interface, diverse skill trees for the player character, a few massive info dumps to help push along story beats, and a very straight forward, simple plot line to follow. The theme of Andromeda is exploring a new galaxy to find a home, and the hoops that Ryder must jump through to get there are following the standard story beats we would expect in a Space Opera fantasy. That may be the hairline fracture. It’s not the gameplay for sure, which is the best possible version you can get in terms of smooth combat mixed with actual role-playing choices. It’s not really the quest design, everything, from smaller fetch quests to multi-line planet missions, is building to a purpose; survival in an unknown galaxy, with a lot more morally-gray choices to make this time around than ever before. The problem can stem from Andromeda playing it safe- choosing the easiest path for the biggest reward. " Let me know what you think.

Not bad tho. He is fair.
Now the bad part of this is gamers don't put their money where their mouth are.
I mean: They're here prompt to critize a game, wanting it better faster stronger widder etc but at the same time they support "no pre-order, no DLC" policies. But some gamers being on a budget and hacking some -i don't blaame them tho-. Go around and watch some people not buying andromeda because they're still bitter about ME3 or maybe the game isn't good enough for them to spend 60 bucks.
Then you'll have all those people -mostly behind pc players- being shocked and horrified when studios state that pc gaming isn't making enough money and they develop games for console first.
In the end this is just BW and EA being realistic. ME means something for most, they'll watch and give they opinion about this game but in the end they know: 6 millions copies over 5 years isn't ernough for a real AAA budget.
This is a vicious circle: The game is average, not good enough, not to your liking: You'll be harsh at it and won't spend your money on it... Wishing next gonna be better. But what Producers see: "This IP can't support enough sales, let's cut some budget. Buying a good game, with an honest community feedback is important for a franchise to develop and exist.
ME:A is good not great but good games still have a spot in our gaming life today.

will look into this later. Saw today the video from angry joe regarding Mp For one he is a noob. Secondly he said its just a horde WHILE overwatch a game with only ONE MODE gets praised. .. this guy has so many blind followers and can really hurt the games. Many Gamers are idiots. Angry joe i feel surely in some small degree impacted the sales of deus ex mankind divided , a game good enough with some disappointment regarding the story.. He will definately impact the future sales of mass effect . Just criticism is one thing, idiotic criticism is anotehr

I don't think it is really full on malicious intent, although it woukd be undeniable that it does play a role in some form in the end. Glad you enjoyed the video.
