This thread contains 47* 'last posts' across the BioWare forum at the moment it closed, selected from across all the sub-forums.
In some respects, August 26th was hardly a typical day, being the forum's closure date following the announcement a month ago:
"With so many great things so widely available, our developers today find themselves spending more time on other sites, and less time in our own forums. And to our fans and players who came to those boards looking to talk to us, it was a great disservice. So it is with a heavy heart that we will close our public forums on August 26, 2016."
Neverheless, these 'Last Posts' capture some of the personality of this remarkable community of up to 538,409 members, who made 20,338,028 posts between February 2014 and August 26th 2016?
This eclectic mix of posts range from the sublime to the ridiculous, from the jokey to the serious. A vertical slice of the forum, taken as the guillotine of closure fell. This forum, the BioWare Social Network unofficial forums - BSN moves forward, but this thread remains as a snapshot of that moment of closure.
*These 47 posts were a 'best efforts' attempt to capture the spirit of BSN at the close. Not every thread's 'last post' has been included, but the selection is representative.
