Courtesy of TWIZTIDLANCEONE on XBOX Live, I bring you the following strategy. We wanted to call this strategy "Lance's Lure" but we were worried that would confuse people due to Lance being a power name. Instead I made up the name "Zero to Hero" because this strategy can result in rapid XP gains (making your character a hero in-game) and because TWIZTIDLANCEONE is my hero for coming up with this.
Goal
* Complete Gold-difficulty matches safely and efficiently (~ 20 minutes). Use the Gold XP to level up characters quickly and use the Gold credits to build your manifest.
Setup
* Gold
* Firebase Zero
* Outlaw
Team
* Tank
* Stealth
* Burst Damage
* Crowd Control
(see below for definitions)
Strategy In Brief
* The Tank stands on the bridge where he draws the attention of the Outlaw enemies. Many of the enemies (particularly Hydras) will become confused because they cannot jump up onto the bridge to target the Tank.
* The rest of the team uses medium- to long-range weapons and powers to pick off the enemies as they are funneled into a killzone and/or stand around being confused by the Tank.
* When the Tank gets in trouble, typically by attacking KroBros (Krogan Berserkers), the rest of the team assists the Tank with long-range gunfire and powers.

Setup Details
From the Landing Zone, turn left and dash to the left side of the map. The Tank jumps up to the Bridge in the middle of the long open area -- either a long jump from the Platform (where there's often a Hack location) or by first jumping onto the crate on the other side.
The other three players proceed all the way to the edge of the map near the ammo box. They should be able to look towards the Tank on the Bridge, and also see the Platform, the stairs (to their right), and the doorway to the interior (on their left).
Most enemies will spawn near the Landing Zone and funnel across the Platform. Some will come up the Stairs, so keep an eye on that area. Also, at least one person in the party should be tasked with watching the door to the interior of the building to the left, where enemies will eventually come from.
Team Details
* Tank = any relatively tough character who can survive on his own long enough for the rest of the team to kill everything else.
* Stealth = any character with Tactical Cloak or Stealth Grid or similar, for doing objectives and revives.
* Burst Damage = any character who can output enough damage in a short enough time to take down Gold enemies quickly. We used Sniper Rifles on both the Infiltrator and Burst Damage character, but surely other setups are possible.
* Crowd Control = any character who can delay, debuff, and/or stagger incoming enemies.
= = =
We ran this several times with the following players:
* TWIZTIDLANCEONE
* Hooooolie
* Tarus656
* JRandall0308 (me)
We are all good players but we didn't have top-tier weapons or classes. This is totally do-able with Common or Uncommon weapons (Charger, Widow, etc.) and classes (see below for example).
A typical setup was
* Krogan Engineer (Tank)
* Salarian Infiltrator with sniper rifle (Stealth / Burst Damage)
* Turian Soldier with sniper rifle (Burst Damage)
* Asari Adept / Human Vanguard / Human Adept (Crowd Control)
Character levels ranged from 3 (!) to 15. You'll want at least a couple of higher level characters for some oomph, but you can definitely carry a low level character as long as the person isn't the Tank.
We ran this strategy eight times and extracted six times. Failures were due to Upload objectives (the "triple hack") or bad Device locations.
Note
I am utterly uninterested in defending or justifying whether this strategy is "cheesy" or "farming" or "cheapens the game". It's an effective strategy for playing Gold. You still have to kill all the enemies, and you're not relying on glitches or hacks to do so.
Kudos to TWIZTIDLANCEONE for coming up with the idea and to Hooooolie and Tarus656 for making it work.
TWIZTIDLANCEONE should get all the credit for this strategy. I am merely the person who wrote it up and posted it here.
