Getting stalked by a dead Cora..

That's...amazing. When the door closed on her I couldn't help but laugh. I hope it gets rectified that she doesn't remain like that all game, but in the meantime it's pretty hilarious.
I'm sure you probably don't find it as hilarious at the moment, though. I wish I could help.
Have you tried calling Ghostbusters? Or get Suvi in on it. She's religious. Maybe she can do an exorcism or a cleansing of the ship.

If this game doesn't have multiple save slots for each career like the trilogy, it could be a good time to recommend manually saving the save game folder somewhere outside of the game location in case of save game corruption (new copies each time, don't overwrite).

No - I was at a a forward station and tried to swap Cora out for Vetra. instead i ended up with Vetra and Cora. I then tried swapping her out again for Drack and ended up with Cora and Drack..

It does though.

OK, that was hilarious. I am glad it was fixed for you, but having a Cora haunt your ship like some ghost is awesome.

Have you tried doing some main stories or something with cutscenes. Take her with you, then hopefully trigger a cutscene to snap her out of it. I'm assuming you've already done the hard restart of the game.

If not, you may have to scrub the save. That sucks.

I manually save constantly. Sometimes I'll even just create a new save instead of overwriting...just in case.  Because of stuff like this. Hours of game time lost because of this goofiness.

*In FO4 oftentimes I could just punch the companion in the face and it would knock them out of their stuck glitch. True story. About 50/50 percent of times. You can't punch BW characters, so, yeah. But it would work on those little fo4 pixel bags.

Did have a similar thing with Liam getting perma-dead after being smashed by some big brutes on Havarl. But tried the reloading stuff before he managed to start acting funny, since I didn't fancy redoing the fight + other progress if he decided to keep resting in peace. So wasn't sure if it was a similar thing, but it's good reloading worked.
But now I wonder if he too would have haunted the Tempest. That would have been funny.
