I was so hyped when I heard about the new boss objective for the Kett. I reminded me of playing ME3MP and how I REALLY wanted to see a Harvester drop in somehow, but it never did. But I was SO hyped when I saw this news.
However...
It was kind of disappointing... Why? It's the same exact thing as targets with a "boss" as the last one. It felt extremely underwhelming in terms of creativity.
I just want to know how this one escaped the devs without a better idea surpassing it. Like... Just make it a boss wave, make the only target the boss. And if you're worried about people doing it too quickly, have like a 30 second countdown to the boss showing up. Let people regroup for a minute, or with ten seconds left like just reorient to a designated "boss wave" section of the map to best focus their attention.
I was just surprised that nothing had changed with the exception of the last enemy and what the guy says on the radio...
P.S. Why in the hell was this incorporated in place of the fiend? Does anyone else think the fiend should have been introduced yesterday and not the other guy? The fiend is more of a bullet sponge than the Krogan I feel... Not to mention how it is clearly more of a boss monster.

I modded tougher Brutes in ME3 that could one hit kill you if it charged you, and it survived missiles. I laugh at the MEA Fiend and their attempts of a "boss" event.

I really want true weekend events, not this crap of here's one apex mission. I miss the fighting your way through gold or carrying others through gold cause you wanted to complete the weekend event. Calling it a boss when they didn't have a new boss unit type was probably a mistake. They could have called it a lot of other things.

We just resorted to Stasis sniping them but yeah, it sucked. I miss the sense of community too when players would stop farming FBWGG to actually complete the weekend challenge. And mostly I miss the joy/agony of opening my reward box and getting an N7 Eagle when I just wanted a Hurricane. For shame Bioware, you took something that worked and broke it for the sake of a mobile app. |

I put 5 into it at point blank and it didn't even take the big bastard to half health ..... |
