Turian dimorphism mixups.Oversight or intented?

Here is something probably unimportant and I don't even know if any other players have come across it but it has kinda been bugging me.I have encountered 3 cases of turian mixups and I want to know if it was inteded or plain lazy.
We've known turians have very specific sexual dimorphism.There is no way anyone can mistake a female for a male and vice versa (like salarians who use the same model)

I so far met 2 turian NPCs who left me baffled ,as well as a character in the MP.


1) I came across a female Turian (voice and name) but she had a male model.
2) I also came across a male Turian (he had a grizzly old turian voice) but...the model was that of female turian !face body and all.
3)In the multiplayer there is a character class called Turian Havoc Soldier ,the design is very weird. The face looks like any Turian male face ,but he lacks the head fringe males have. Never seen a turian like that before.I havent unlocked the character so I dont know if the turian is male of female afterall.
