I imagine so, when you download the trial it just downloads the game but doesn't allow you past a certain point. So I assume any patch the game gets would be in the trial to.

Any patch for the game is the going to be applied to the trial version. Though you may need to check for updates when one hits.

There is not going to be a 04/04 patch. There's going to be an update on info about how BW is going to handle MEA in the future.
