Let's be honest here, the graphics optimization of this games sucks, and I think it is even worse than the Witcher III. GTX 1080ti can only average around 45 fps for this game on 4K ultra? Is this a joke? and that's with 11GB of dedicated VRAM.

uhhh yeah your point? optimization is generally never good at the beginning of games especially if you have newer hardware. Just wait it will (or rather should) get better with patches. Thank heavens I'm not going for 4k yet cuz I'm still stuck in the days of a 1080p monitor It is a little silly that my gtx 660 seems to run the game more stable than high end rigs.

Hopefully some improved performance for AMD cards especially.

I'm playing with 2x GTX 1080Ti's in SLI @ 1440p and the game has a lot of hitching and stuttering. I even tried turning off SLI and dedicating the 2nd card to physx only. Then i tried taking out the 2nd card altogether. Still get stuttering with 1 card or 2 in the machine on the current nvidia driver 378.92. Nvidia is aware of this and is attempting to fix the shit performance problem in their up an coming patch according to ManuelG on geForce forums.

Call me crazy (or maybe just blind) but I didn't notice a huge difference between 1080p Ultra and 4k with this game specifically.

the witcher 3 is very good optmimized
anyway, a gtx 1080ti for 4k at 45 is perfect you need two of those gpu for 60 fps
A has a good optimization too, just play on 1080 or 2k

Let's be honest here, there's no single graphics card that's pushing out 4K on a decent basis thus the market is tiny and relegated to those running SLI rigs. I'm running a 1070 at 1440 and everything graphics-wise is great.
