So Noir. Got to the case of the Golden Butterfly and let me just say apparently whatever skill I had at reading people has gone straight out the window.
But this case has been only like the second one that I am truly digging...it's awesome. Granted as noted my instincts are probably failing me but there are two people and either one of themy could have done it. My guess is the husband at this point but just not sure and I let him walk out of there.

dazk , posting pics of RoTK 13 wouldn’t be worthwhile from PS4P. It’s lots of maps, pretty paintings and portraits, and overhead views of cities and terrain. It looks nice and gets the job done, but won’t wow you. The character portraits really are great. I’ll see if I can piggyback off of someone else and link some images. I started my final RoTK13 PT for now, since I’ll be moving next week and then hearing back to AC Origins for NG+ and Curse of the Pharoahs. I started in 195 CE this time. The timeframe has a lot to do with difficulty, since more regions are already settled by stable factions. I also turned up the difficulty. So, 195 CE in Wudu, a large town/small city on the western frontier. Doing my usual, I pulled officers from other eras to stake my claim. Yue Yi, the famous general, is my avatar this time. I made him and Yue Fei (last game’s protagonist) brothers and sons of Cao Cao’s officer Yue Jin for kicks. I created two women to woo, both skilled domestic officials. The younger is a daughter of Ma Teng, warlord of Liang. The older is a daughter of Yuan Shao, with whom I always tangle in earlier settings. The later, Yuan Huiyin, is my Domestic Advisor. (Awkward anecdote: I had a son from each within the first year of my rule. I offered the younger wife some fine wine as a gift, and she told me she’s too young to accept. “Since Yi’s giving you more than wine, and you’re a mother, I think it’s okay.” Age of adulthood was 15 in this era, Chris Hanson. Back off.) Cool things about Wudu are that it’s poor and completely surrounded by other powers. I immediately established a semi-permanent Alliance with pop-in-law Ma Teng to the north. Then, I started expanding. First, I took Jiameng Pass, a fortified pass into Hanzhong. That was no easy feat without advanced troops or siege engines. Hanzhong fell easily, though, and the surrounding towns were fortified. No sooner had I settled in than Liu Zhang’s fools invaded my towns, crossing their own fortified border to try and claim one of my towns. You guys already know what happened. I mobilized everything and invade Yi at least 6 months to a year earlier than planned. Within a year or so, all of Yi and Nanman was mine. I was spread pretty thinly, but this region is nestled in the eastern edge of the Himilayas. It’s supremely defensible, and a great home base for my bid at power. Liu Biao of the Jingzhou wigged out when I occupied Yongan, a city in the pass between our regions. I withdrew, let him claim it, and bided my time. Within a year, my ranks were more full and my troops more numerous. I moved down from Hanzhong to claim the northern east/west pass. Liu Biao again mobilized 100K+, but I was ready, and not about to be bottled up in the mountains. I moved my own 100K troops east from Hanzhong. Waiting for his armies to advance long distances, I then mobilized another 100K+ toward Yongan, the southern east/west pass he had earlier denied us. This meant his armies had to reverse course to oppose my southern advance. They were exhausted by the time they reached me and were devastated. (Why yes, I do own “The Art of War”) As tends to happen, I steamrolled his armies in the field and claimed city after city before they could field fresh opposition. In one year-long campaign, I seized all of Jingzhou. I eventually executed the Liu clan, their relatives the Cai clan, and one of their generals. They’d not submit, andvid not cut them loose to cause trouble. I also intended to execute Pan Xi, a former officer who’d defected to Liu Biao. He escaped prison during the campaign, though. We’ll meet again, Xi! This is the type of rapid advancement that typically incites an anti-Eezo coalition. I was prepared, though, with treaties pre-established with every neighboring power. While they could break faith, it would lose them a ton of credibility and fealty. I intended to settle in for a couple of years, but was forced to take the southern coast when Sun Quan made a grab for it. He’d one day, in real life, establish one of the fabled Three Kingdoms, Wu. He’s already hard on my eastern front. No way I’d allow him southern access. So, that’s where things stand in 202 CE. I hold about half of the land area, but far less in cities. Still, my holdings are the most impressive, as are my wealth and armies (around 800K troops). Cao Cao has already bested Yuan Shao at Baima and Guandu, and will soon seize Jizhou, making him the most powerful man in China. We’re allied, for now. Ma Teng will keep him busy in the west over the next 5 years as I build toward assimilating Sun Quan’s forces and holdings. Gaining his officers would be as important as his lands, so I’ll be an amiable conqueror. In that regard, Liu Bei presently sits in Runan, a single town. He and his people have made bimonthly visits to our neighboring monstrosity of a force. I can’t decide whether to let him come to me after Cao Cao takes Runan, or grab it myself and hope he’ll forgive and enlist. I’d been doing the former, but the latter might be smarter. Runan would be a foothold for the future grind northward against Cao Cao. It’s pretty cool to see every corner of China claimed by someone. If you want something, you have to be ready to fight. There are 5 major powers left, but it’s more like 3. Ma Teng is my staunch ally who will harass Cao Cao from the west. Yuan Shao will fall to Cao Cao soon, making Cao the big fish. The Suns are major players in the east/southeast. So, it’s almost a Three Kingdoms scenario 19 years early. I expect to absorb the Suns, essentially creating North vs South, but it could take at least a few years. The ultimate showdown with Cao Cao is the reason to try this scenario. He was nearly insurmountable in history, so it should be a challenge. No one in this era ever held the entire south and west, though, so I’m sure I can overcome him. It will be interesting to see just how many years it takes. My three sons (so far) should all long since be adults by the time it happens.

Watching Sea of Thieves; another beta test run. The streamer sank quite a number of ships and looted a lot of chests. He's not gone down yet. The streamer playing first mate on the galleon is nuts. He just shoots himself over to the enemy galleon, cut their anchor so they can't move and mow the crew down. Or he shoots himself near the enemy and wait for an opportune time to climb aboard and wreck havoc.

Went for the first time in this playthrough to the Cut in HZD Sylens was already whining that i had to stay on course but well i do not really listen to him. Did a few side quests over there namely The Shaman's Path where i have to find someone named Ourea and Waterlogged where i have to help Laulai with a flooded music instrument. So when i went on my search to find Ourea i met this new machine. And i also repaired a broken Tallneck but did he thank me ... nope he just stood up and start walking his boring rounds.

You create seasonal character, take them thru campaign and finish different "seasonal" objectives, like raise an artisan to said level or complete nephalem rift. They're calles seasonal, but those are things you'd do during normal campaign or in adventure mode. The difference is you start fresh on character that has no access to previously aquired bonuses like paragon levels, your gold, materials or items (which normally are account-wide). Of course it's not without reward. You can unlock portraits, pets, transmog, special sets and so on as you progress with your seasonal character. And once season ends, this character is not lost, they become non-seasonal character.

Like Rascoth said, you start of a character fresh and see how far you can take it in a limited time. Several months time that is. You can go solo or co-op, softcore or hardcore. In hardcore dead is dead. You can switch solo and co-op but not go from softcore to hardcore. The seasonal objectives differ a little season to season even though many are recurring. So you can do it in both campaign and in adventure mode but you have to switch to adventure when you go rifting of course. Some seasonal rewards are recurring but pets, wings and some pennants are not. You level much faster in co-op adventure than solo campaign but if your not going to push leaderboards it doesn't relly matter. This season we can get the fabulous Blaine'sbear as pet. It's all fun games.

So Zdefaro wrested Caldeum out of the the deceptive hands of Belial, the lord of lies, whose soul is now secured in the black soulstone. Only Azmodan, the lord of sin, remains at large. Azmodans host is pouring out of the Arreat crater and laying siege to Bastions keep. It now falls upon Zdefaros shoulders to rally the defense. The keep will not fall! This is the first time I'm really playing the male monk beyound the opening maps and I've got to say the've got a great voice there. They have given him som funny lines as well. Poor Hadraig has been taking most of it.

Dat Imperius portrait First, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Moved Athena's story a bit. Got my hands on sniper rifle and I don't think I'll let it go. "Boom! Headshot!" or however the meme goes. Met nurse that had surprisingly familiar hairstyle... Then met with one and only Moxxi... right before I went to check random item chest. I was certain I had golden keys, since I've been redeeming codes even when not playing, but nope! 0. No gear for me After that, Diablo III. I finally bought Necromancer pack and since I like Necromancer's set far better than Demon Hunter's set for this season, I scrapped poor guy (for now) and made Necromancer lady. Finished Act I. I started on normal difficulty, but changed to hard in the middle of the act ( I felt I had to when I got the achievement for killing the Skeleton King in under 20 seconds...). The Butcher on hard went down even quicker that with Crusader on normal, so I'll most likely up difficulty again soon. For now, I like her gameplay. Lot of gory explosions and skeletons. Plus her off-hand is beating heart I also love her voice and her - sometimes dry - delivery of lines. It fits Necromancer so well

Last night, I played some Supreme Commander. The original, and thats a good game right there. I do think forged aliance is better though...still, liking my run with supreme commander. Currently playing the cybran campaign, and I think they are my least favorite units in the game. So I might switch over to the UEF or Aeon. I like the UEF's...everything, but the Aeon's buildings/units are so pretty to me at least. Not as big a fan of their campaign though. I am also playing differently then I would normally. Normally I just set my factories to produces infinetly. Then setup a patrol path, and slowly advance that patrol path into the enemies units. Its a perfectly valid strategy, as you slowly overwhelm the enemies units with shere numbers. And begin to annihilate them. This time however, I'm actually trying to use strategy. Only building a certain number of units at a time, and then sending them after the enemy. for the cybran, I'm in the middle of mission 2 atm. I need to get across the water, to defeat the naval base there. Now I know what the game wants me to do. Clear a landing zone on the shore, send some air transports in there with my ground forces. And use them to destroy the aeon's naval base. But I did manage to capture to aeon factories, and they have hover tanks. Teir 1 hover tanks. But still, hover tanks can fly right over water. So I'm going to try putting together 30 of these things, and just send them over to the enemies position. Wipe them out that way. . I love turning the enemies weapons against them. I really do. Its my favorite thing to do in games. Capture enemies weapons/vehicles, and use them against said foe. Let them feed their own destruction. Its even better, when I can build the same enemy units they throw at me. Let them face a combined army of my units, and their own units. muahaha

Nice to see I might be making Rockstar money. But I do recommend it. Granted it may not entirely be my cup of tea but it is an incredibly well put together game, I have noticed almost no bugs or even glitches and the graphics are pretty amazing all things considered (granted its a remaster so its kind of a 'new old' game.) I think the writing is maybe a little wonky and maybe a little boring at times but most of my problems with it are things I am doing, I assume, rather then flaws with the game. Honestly I am almost tempted to complete this PT and then immedietly start another one after watching the Game Theory on interrogations to see if the game does do it right, but then as noted I do have a bit of a backlog. Last night though I put in Madden. Super Bowl 54. My Patriots versus the Seahawks. Beat them 66-38 (which for reference is absolutlely murdering them). But as people of this forum will be intrigued to hear Robert Ryder caught 5 passes, two of them for TDs, with 55 yards. Then in the new season played the Seahawks again and again beat them like 57-33. Something like that. Ryder had more fun, but Edelman was the one who really ripped them apart 8 catches for 171 yards.

Raided a challenge tomb and murdered a bear. Also got a bit further in the main story and like a fungus, Lara keeps growing on me, since I felt a tinge of sympathy as she impaled herself on some spikes. Less so when she fell the second time. But still. Figure I'll be fond of her by the end of the game. Combat is getting harder since I do badly in panic situations and dropping me into a three wolf party is not much fun. So lot of shooting in the air with a rifle and hoping that something would stick. Or maybe it was the booze. But that plus drowsiness kept the session short. Also wondering what is up with the DLC, since yesterday I had the dlc armors available to me, but today I did not. Guessing yesterday was just a bug, but still.
Also loaded up dragon age inquisition to mess with the character creator. That was a decent hour spent.

Still paying Rebel Galaxy.
Moved on to another system. Next main quest is to go mine some special rocks in another system but it's probably too dangerous a place yet to go flying around willy-nilly. So, I'm doing various missions in my current system, ranking up in the Merc Guild, and banking credits for more ship upgrades. I've got everything at level 3 right now, and the price jump at level 4 is pretty steep, so it's gonna take a while.

Finally killed a Thunderjaw on ultra hard. By the Sun, that Lodge ropecaster is my only friend. Haha! Tearblast arrows to remove the disk launchers and radar module; disk launchers to bring to nearly nonfunctional; then hardpoint arrows or blast sling to finish. Easy peasy. In other news, that Diablo 3 Season system sounds like an awesome way to provide ongoing support. I heartily approve. I played a couple of hours of RoTK13 today. Upon loading and surveying the state of things, I realized how stupid my previous plan had been. I started by taking Liu Bei at Runan just as Sun Quan closed in on it. He seemed to understand the necessity. We were already on great terms, and he and Zhang Fei readily joined my cause. All of his followers did excepting Guan Yu. He wouldn’t budge. I personally visited him in prison, released him and gave him fine wine. Then, I made my pitch. He said words alone wouldn’t convince him and insisted we duel. To provide perspective, this dude is worshipped as a War God to this day. I bested him in a close duel, achieving broad fame and acquiring my faithful officer. That was pretty fun. Next, I spied a key opening. Cao Cao was fighting on three separate fronts: to the west against Ma Teng at Tong Pass and Chang’an; against Yuan Shao (and then his son and successor Shang) at the Yellow River; and against Sun Quan at Guangling. Rather than let him prevail as in history, I realized life would be easier if I took him down ASAP. To attack Cao, I needed to secure the east against Sun Quan. So came another cool encounter. My silver-tongued wife and domestic advisor was busy, so I personally rode 28 days to visit Sun Quan at Guangling. If you’ve read “Three Kingdoms”, you’ll realize how awesome and fitting this was. I made my case, but was met with mixed response. I then met with Lu Su, a friend of both Yi (my PC) and Sun Quan, to speak on my behalf. I presented myself again, and was challenged by Zhang Hong, a scholar and chief domestic advisor of the Suns. He accused me of trying to use them to my own ends. (Guilty as charged.) I debated him before all of their gathered court and won. Not only did I win great reknown, but Zhang Hong decided to back my alliance. It was then that Lü Meng offered a final challenge. Defeating him in debate won me reknown, a PSN Trophy and my 36 month alliance. I rode home to Xiangyang feeling like a boss, like some combination of Lü Bu and Kongming. It’s now 202, and I begin a full mobilization one month before our the treaty with Cao ends. As the day arrives, my troops start attacking his cities. In the west, I helped Ma Chao (Ma Teng’s famous son, one of the Five Tigers of Shu and my bro-in-law) retake Chang’an. From the south, hundreds of thousands of troops, including elephant cavalry, pummeled what little opposition Cao could muster. Fighting in too many fronts had left the cupboard bare. I took his capital Xuchang, along with the Han Emperor, in the 9th month of 202. In the tenth, I was enfeoffed as Duke. In the 11th, King. By mid-203, Cao’s ambition was no more and all his officers and holdings were loyal to me. Only Cao Cao himself refused to join, and I released him. I also encountered Pang Xi, the long ago traitor who’d escaped justice. He was finally beheaded. In 203, Han Emperor Xian acknowledged that the Mandate of Heaven had passed to Yue Yi. So ended the Han, and the Yan Empire was born. (Yan because the real Yue Yi served the kingdom of Yan during his time. Two, because it would appeal to the people of Jizhou, where the Yuans still resisted.) The Yuans wanted a short non-aggression treaty, and I obliged them 6 months. This allowed me to reorganize my administration and prepare my armies. They initiated hostilities as soon as the 6 months expired, and I met them at the Yellow River. Their “offensive” was crushed and turned into a 12-city victory lap for my armies. In the end, Guan Yu and Zhao Yun led the final assault on distant XiangPing. I released the living Yuans, seeing as they’re my bros-in-law through my first wife, Lady Yuan Huiyin. I had killed Yuan Tan in a duel outside Julu, but that’s war. All the Yuans and all of their retainers pledged fealty to the Yan Emperor. During this campaign, which stretched through 204, my long alliance with Ma Teng expired. I was concerned, but it was easily renewed. (Hes my pop-in-law via Lady Ma Shi, my second wife.) That means that war with Sun Quan’s 8-city realm will erupt in two months. It’s now early 205, 10 years on from the humble start in Wudu. We’re 10 years older and have 4 sons. That fourth one was long in coming, finally conceived the month before the Yuan campaign. I arrived home just before his birth. None of the boys look to be as impressive as dad, but the eldest are good scholars and future statesmen. They’d each make for a fine emperor. (As in real life, kids are partly a reflection of their parents, partly genetic lottery, and then shaped by upbringing.) I thought taking the north would be a grind, but it ended up being easy. The final campaigns shouldn’t be a problem. I can likely wrap up all of China around 207 CE. We’ll see.
