In a word, not much. Only about two prepper stashes, triggered one of those damn collection quests, and a base. THe highlight was one of the prepper stashes was down this mine shaft with very low lighting, with bliss in the air, and a bunch of 'Angels'. Those creepy little frickin things, cleared it out and enjoyed all the extra money. The second Prepper Stash was interesting, it was locked from the inside so I had to shoot in a window in the back to open it. Probably wouldn't have occured to me but there was a cultist out back shooting his gun off randomly and a note so I put two and two together. The outpost I was pretty undetected on, but it did take me two tries since something randomly exploded in my face. Oh I forgot I did run a story mission to where I blew up a bunch of Gold...I am actually dubious of if it was actually gold.

Took a couple hours today to download that monster update for the Master Chief Collection that was just dropped.
They added an Intelligent Delivery System that allows you to decide what content to install and what not to. I used this and managed to trim down the size of the Collection by nearly 30 GBs. So I'm pretty happy with that, it means more space when the flurry of good games starts.

I wonder how you wandered onto the third. I think it was listed on a Humble Bumble Sale. And I probably did look at all three games but the description really led me to believe that there are been [two] incomplete games made before and that this "third" game was actually treading some of the ground of the first two games while adding a new extended ending and far improved graphis. with that sort of description, I would not have bought the prior games. I have no attachment to an April Ryan, so that is probably making my experience far better in light of what you're telling me I can only say you will not know the story of the two worlds, the lore and April Ryan who returned the Balance to what it was. What she lost and what sacrifices she made. The Prophecy that was foretold, the role of the Dragons and whatever that came before was shoved into the abyss, April was taken out of the picture and Zoe took over. When #2 came into being, I felt disoriented because of the premise of #1; what road am I walking now? It took seven years for #2 to appear and another seven for #3. TLJ fans wanted to know what came after and the author gave vague answers in those years despite being asked. It makes me wonder if the author was in a similar position as those who wrote MET; they had no idea where to take the story, no solution. In his case, he did a slightly better job of steering the story right out of the road onto another path. How it came to be could also be intended, it didn't become a car wreck like ME3 but nevertheless, very dissatisfying for me. This is just my POV. That is the House of All Worlds. Saga, the child, is a Shifter. And of course, you likely have no idea what I'm talking about. Kian appeared in #2 and you didn't play 1 and 2 so of course you'll have no idea who're the Azadi, why he's there or why he was told that, why that would have an impact. If you want to know how it all began, I suggest putting #3 on hiatus until you have an opportunity to play 1 and 2 although you can drop 1 entirely since April and the events of #1 were thrown away. Nothing in #1 mattered any more. You can begin with #2, just know that April made a hard decision in the first game after trying to refuse what she was meant to do, reject what she was. She had her own goals she wanted to attain, she didn't want the burden that was dropped on her. Her journey revealed the world and people of Arcadia to her. She helped people along the way. A Dragon died for her, people died, her friends were threatened. In the end, she could not return to her world (she accepted that in view of the greater good she would achieve). The conclusion was not what she envisioned but she did restore the Balance. However, there was still the Prophecy; she was not done. She was alone, in a world that was not her own. Her only companion was Crow but she was not downhearted. She walked away, ready for the next part of the journey. That was how the first game ended. Or just carry on with #3. *shrug*

Bit of Sims 4. Wrapped up Auro's week so next it's time to see if Victor will catch on fire this week.
Then a bit of Viscera clean up detail. Thought it would just be chill cleaning but no it's infuriating bucket tossing and mop wrangling. Still, having some sort of fun.
Then tried out Love Bites on the phone to see how it played. It went pretty well. Been craving some supernatural drama so maybe it will satisfy it somewhat.

Got a bit more Witchering done last night Of Dairy and Darkness Oh I love weird quests.
From the setup, “the most noble art of tyromancy, the divination of the future from cheese”, to the actual wonderfully weird cheese dungeon itself, this makes a nice break from some of the darker Novigrad quests you come across later on.
That said, like a lot of the time in games like this, once you’ve explored one elven ruin, kinda feels like you’ve explored em all. Now or Never Despite it being a Triss quest, I do enjoy the navigating of the sewers in this, even if by this time one can argue the sewers have been used to death in Novigrad quests, and seldom effectively.
But they work here, and despite the fact Triss’ dumb AI means I have keep running up to her and nudging her to keep moving onwards, I loved the discovery of the library in the sewers. I ignore the fact time is supposedly of the hastier sort, and explore and loot every bookshelf and pile, even if by this time I’ve read all in game books, I still love this little discovery, even if as I recall it’s never actually explained in game.
Another fight with a katakan (I really enjoy fighting these) then it’s “Bye Felicia” and an angry Dijkstra
Seriously him shipping Geralt and Triss seemed very out of character for him. Sometimes I wonder whether Triss might have even enlisted the pig in doing this on purpose, Melitele knows this wouldn’t be the worse thing she’s done in her obsessive quest to secure Geralt as hers.
Anyway, she’s gone. I can now enjoy the next long stretch of game without her. Final Thing about Triss I’ve read a very interesting fan theory that the Triss Merigold in the games isn’t Triss Merigold at all but actually Lytta Neyd aka Coral from A Season of Storms, and one of the Fourteen of the Hill.
Triss Merigold actually did die in the Battle on Sodden Hill, and for whatever reason Lytta Neyd was mistaken for her and thus assumed her identity.
There’s more detail and good evidence to back up this theory over on the Wikia.
Don’t fully believe it, just found it to be really I interesting. More Gwent cards successfully acquired (Milva ), and now some Fists of Fury, and horse racing at the Vegelbuds.

I've been wanting a ranged weapon as an alt in Monster Hunter: World, but I've been actively trying to avoid the bow as it's MH!, and there's definitely more interesting/creative ones out there - like the Gunlance and the Bowguns. But while they are fun, they just didn't feel quite right. So... last night I finally gave in and tried the bow. Dammit. I do like it. i.imgur.com/1mycdm7.jpg

I wanted to look at the newer content of SWTOR and decided, that I made a level 60 smuggler to start the first of those two new expansions. I used my smuggler, I made for Star Forge, as a template, because I like the looks.
So far, it's kind of bizarre, my little smuggler is suddendly the hero of the galaxy, best buddy with a Sith LOrd, who is a member of the Dark council ( ) and Lana Beniko, whom I remember was a Sith too? I think, I'm missing a part of that storyline. I know Lana, but not Darth Marr.
Sooo, my crew and my ship is gone, I get stalked by the still not dead emperor in a nightmare and then I end up with a grumpy droid in a swamp - good times.
Miya Vykos just woke up in a nightmare

It's ok, I can follow the story well enough, but I must have missed SoR somehow. Not that I'm very keen on playing anything with Revan in it. What where they thinking, putting a playable, well loved player character from another game that can be female or male, light or dark side into this game and just assume, Revan is a white male with dark tendencies? I really don't like that.

So in Farcry 5 last night basically did a few outposts and two story missions. And might I say 'going loud' was not the best idea for a hostage rescue. First wave of it got through it pretty easily and I reclaimed some manner of stealthyness after blowing the last outpost when I went in with the bow and occasional sniper fire and carefully picked off the bad guys one by one with my companions. Second stage, in the middle of the 'Hawkeye tunnel' I sent in Hurk which had the rocket...the hostages didn't die but the resitance wasa lot tougher...and more explodey then I gave it credit for. At the end on the second wave I was able to be a lot more stealthy and went in.

Still Diablo'ing, but I also started a new (to me) game called Risen. So far in that I've survived a shipwreck (via opening cut scene), found a stick to use as a weapon, found a girl who was also on the ship and now stranded - her name is Sara, my name is "Castaway" - killed some beasties, found a frying pan so I could cook the meat I scavenged from said beasties, fell into a ruin and found my way back out again, met a guard who for some reason wasn't hostile to a strange person showing up out of nowhere, headed to the camp recommended by the nice guard, and talked to some of the people at the camp who are also not hostile to a stranger popping up out of nowhere. Currently at the camp, deciding who to talk to next.

To hell with canon Revan or Exile. They should not have touched those characters and make them 'canon' male or female. Those are characters that are different in every playthrough, so it was bound to piss people off, I guess. And from what I read in the forums, this is a huge cause of grief among those players, that are familiar with KOTOR.

After getting broke by preordering Spider-Man, TombRaider and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey from the psn store, all deluxe or best editions ofc, I decided to start Telltale’s Game Of Throne. I’ve had it forever on my PS4 and I always thought it was lame, played like two minutes of it once and didn’t like it but then today I felt like giving it another shot and was glad I did so, cause now I really like it, turns out that it’s a really decent and exciting game, much like the other telltale games. I’m a huge telltale fan btw.

Okay, I have continued to work on and experiment with Morrowind upgraded installs. As per the video I linked to at previous page. I've done one on my desktop and one on my newest laptop and it's mostly been very successful. My old save games from 2003 and 2004 works (amazing it was so long ago ). (I have started a new game & char as well though. A series of tips: Get the latest version of Morrowind Code Patch. I did, but there was an even newer on Nexus and it fixed one problem for me. Get the latest version of MGE_XE, independently from Nexus. The one supplied with Morrowind Overhaul, MGSO_3-0_Final is old. This may make it easier for you to achieve the wide-screen resolution you want. I had some problem with that, on both PCs. I'm not sure how exactly I fixed it, but one thing you must do is to launch Morrowind directly with Morrowind.exe, a few times, both with fullscreen mode set in MGE_EX, and with Windowed mode set. Change display settings inside the game, a few times to verify that it all works. After that, you can start the game from the Launcher, if you want, and even choose window or full screen there. Consider all other Launcher options false and ignore them. Do NOT ever change resolution settings on the launcher start screen. Wait until you're inside the game. With my GOG install I also had to force-set Morrowind.exe to use my nVidia graphics. Otherwise it insisted on using Intel graphics. Two final things: I don't know if he mentioned it in the video, but you should turn off anti-virus programs during the upgrade process. (Don't forget to turn them on again, after.) And I'm pretty sure he didn't mention yet another thing: If you have Windows10, you should not have your Morrowind install in the C:\Program Files (x86) path or C:\Program Files path. And probably not for Windows 7 or 8 either, but I don't know that. Personally, I always have games and big applications in the D:\Program Files (x86) path, on normal HD drives, not SD, so I had no problems. Anyway, I installed a fav mod of old that I couldn't imagine being without, as well as a bunch of clothes mods I did myself long ago. They work very well, even in the upgraded game, just as my old save games. However, the flags for my old character are bound to be somewhat corrupt, because the game was buggy during its career. ...And according to Tamriel Rebuilt, the default 'Travel' mod is now safe to use for Tamriel. (Don't use the stuff in the Extras folder). ...- Oh, almost forgot - and don't follow that video guys advice on choosing the darker rendering. You want the standard 'bright', or you'll walk perpetually in shadow. You can check out here, in his comparison video, how dark he has his game. Don't know why. The important thing is that you know it doesn't have to look so gloomy.

Is that the one with the Trailer where you can get married to a Vampire and he's meant to bite you and turn you on the spot--- unless you back out, as the choice is presented?

Or at least the official ad is a cheeky retro ad and the premise is that you play one of two twins which has something funky happen to them at a party that causes their body to change and no mention of vampire marriages so far.

Oh wow... just read this on the Frontier boards
Important Community Update Greetings Commanders,
First of all, we would like to take a moment to thank you all for the continued support and making Elite Dangerous the incredible, community driven, phenomenon that it is today.
We started our Elite Dangerous journey over 6 years ago and today hundreds of thousands of Commanders log in regularly to continue their epic space journey. From a personal perspective, joining the team shortly after the kickstarter, and being a part of this incredible community has truly been one of the most amazing highlights of my career. From in-person community meet ups, online community groups and jaw-dropping events, you have always inspired us with your passion and enthusiasm.
We wanted to take a moment to talk about a number of topics being discussed in the community and to be as open and transparent as possible. It’s a long read, so make sure you’re safely docked and comfortable before attempting to navigate this post.
The things we’d like to go through include Chapter Four content and a little about a future beyond “Beyond”, as well as touching on the subject of “paid premium content” in 2018 for Lifetime Expansion Pass owners.
Let’s get started with Chapter Four content. As all of you know, our largest update of the year is in final development and will be available for players to get hands-on with in just a number of weeks (Some time in Q4).This will be the final update of 2018 and the Beyond season. The Beyond season was always something that we wanted to do in order to bring even more enhancements to the core experience of Elite and being able to dedicate a full development team (over 100 people!) for a full year of free content was specifically to gear ourselves up to support our long term vision for the game. On a personal note, Squadrons is something I’m most excited by. Seeing our player groups grow and the stories they’ve created has been incredible and now being able to see them take that to the next level, formalize their groups in-game, TAG up and team up is something I’m really looking forward to.
There’s also a huge group of players who are most excited by the many new additions to exploration. I know from talking to so many of you online and in-person, this is a huge moment and the development team are working really hard to deliver new content and mechanics to give explorers that thrill of venturing out into the black. And then there’s even more with additions with significant mining enhancements, a full game visual upgrade and the Codex which all bring even more richness to the game experience and depth to the way people play. It’s certainly an update we’re all very excited to see the community explore.
We do have one exciting piece of news to share that to date, we have not shared with our community. A while ago, our development went from pre-production into full production on our next major milestone of Elite development.
What that means in the simplest terms is that the team are actively working on the next major landmark which takes us into our next era for Elite. We aren’t going to be ready to talk about or announce any details for quite a while yet, it is early in the development and there is still a long way to go, but I can say that this is something that will be scheduled to release a considerable time after the final update in the Beyond series. We will have more details on exactly what this means and how the era will roll out after the release of Beyond – Chapter Four, but this does mark some exciting next steps and a continued commitment to the long term vision for the game and our community.
Naturally, there will be community questions that might come up from this information. We aren’t going to be ready to talk about what method or model the content will be. What we can say is that it’s expected to be a major milestone in the history of Elite and will be paid content. Lifetime Expansion owners will obviously receive the content as part of their pass.
As part of pre-production, the team investigate all areas of the content and scope them out thoroughly. It’s important to take the time to be clear on what the vision for this is and how we imagine the content working. During this process, we have made a decision to adjust the focus of content that were previously planned for the Chapter Four update, adding some significant new gameplay, but it also means some other aspects will have to change. This means that some elements of content such as Ice Planets (which many of you will have seen some fantastic progress updates from LaveCon earlier this year) and Fleet Carriers for squadrons will not be coming as part of the Beyond – Chapter Four update. Some of the technology from the ice planets specifically will be used within our wider and global visual upgrade, so there will still be general improvements, but not everything we originally envisaged. However, we wanted you to be aware that these two elements specifically would be reprioritised out of the upcoming Beyond - Chapter Four update. What this does mean is that the rest of the content will be able to benefit for the changes in scheduling through deeper and richer gameplay mechanics. The Chapter Four update still has the same, if not bigger scope and continues to promise the largest update of the Beyond season and a truck load of great features for all Horizons Commanders for free. We’re very excited to be sharing the details with you over the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more info.
Another area that we’ve had a number of questions on is the “premium content” coming in 2018.
As many of you will know, we previously mentioned that premium (paid for) content would also be coming within the Beyond season of updates and that Lifetime Expansion Pass holders would be getting this for free. However, as we went through the early stages of what the next era for Elite Dangerous would be, we decided that it would be better to spend that additional time on the future content, rather than bringing new types of purchasable content out this year.
This is a big positive for the long term future of the game and its content. However, we also understand that there are people with Lifetime Expansion Passes who haven’t received paid for content in this season, because Beyond has been free to all owners of Horizons. We truly appreciate the support and commitment that those owners put in us when they purchased the LEP and we will be making sure that there is a form of free store content going out to them by the end of this year.
The most important thing we would like for our community to take from this, is that there are some incredibly exciting things just over the horizon. The Elite Dangerous development team is larger than it has been at any point in the last 6 years. It is thanks to your continued support, dedication, feedback and engagement that has made this possible. We have the Beyond Chapter Four update coming soon, our largest update in the Beyond season, with some awesome headline features and a fantastically promising future of content and ongoing development. We’re looking forward to sharing more details with you in the future. However, if you have any questions feel free to share them with us by posting in this thread and we’ll try and answer as many of them as we can.
Thanks
