Completed the next major story quest in MH:W last night and moved into high rank. Got a swanky new place which is half upscale condo, half petting zoo. Also tested out some new gear on a few HR monsters this morning. So far, so good. I'm glad I horded all that money and armor spheres though, things get pricey in high rank.

There's this thing about just walking up to people and thinking "I'm Revan, a living legend!" and then smacking them with a vibrosword.
Buuut... might be a tad early to think so on Taris.

Standing in water in armor must feel pretty yucky although maybe living in armor feels pretty yucky too.

So because of how my day went I was in the mood to kill some things. And today is not going much better. All I really did story wise was to complete the mission I was working on the night before. 'Doctor's Orders'. It was one of those hard to find quests though and it was a bit hinky, so on the way I got into a rather major fire fight on one of the roads in the River Region. Truck after truck and airplanes and regular people, it was a mad house. But the two highlights of the day was when a Peggy was escorting a prisoner out by a shrine, right behind them. I waited until they were clear and put an arrow in their head...but I was very lucky to have hit the guy though, it must've gone right by the prisoner's ear. Then also put an arrow through someone else's eye...gave another guy 'arrow nipples' when I was shooting my bow 'from the hip'. Towards the end Faith started 'looking' for me so I bugged out to Holland Valley to finish off with some Judge Moose hunting.

Bit of Sims 4. Nobody was really surprised that Victor turned out to be erratic after he tried adding the cat to the birthday cake. Managed to salt it, but couldn't get it in the batter. Oddly enough, of the two cakes he made, the one with cat hair was rated as "Normal" while the one without was rated as "Poor".
His decent into insanity seems to have also plummeted his survival skill, since I've got two notifications of him being close to freezing to death after he arrives home from work. His siblings all go straight inside to the warm fire place, but that moron just stands there gazing into the nothingness. Did direct him inside the first time, but decided to let him pick his own fate in the second one. After standing out in a blizzard, being blue in the face for quite a while and extremely filthy as well, he finally ran inside.
Sadly the townies are not his level of stupid and his sisters attempt of murdering people by convincing them to wear swimsuits in the snow has not gone to plan. Got one lady to turn blue, but sadly she recovered. So other methods are needed.
But, Victor did not light the dryer on fire, so maybe his curse is over in that regard.
Relocated Tara and her many dogs to another house because I just can't stand the two floor layout of the other one. She spent the beginning of her week ignoring her kids and trying to befriend animals. But kids managed fine on their own and husband fled to space for work.

There is something so familiar about Kian's voice. As in, I think he voiced by the same actor as Male Hawke... *googles it to see if it's true.*OMFG, I was right! I'm such a voice actor guessing bad ass.
That settled, let's introduce the rest of the cast.
Hey there, cutie. I shall call you Enu, but shall think of you as Merril with way less blood magic baggage and far more flirtation experience.
Let's walk through this beautiful city together.
Well, I mean, I guess we're actually infiltrating it as we snuck in by boat and all...
Then there is: Sten-ris! So Stoic, yet so angry and murderous. Don't worry, he's laughing on the inside.
Psst... I'M AWESOME AGAIN. I "heard" Varania, Fenris' sister, on the left there. And it turns out, yep! same voice actor!
There is so much going on in Kian's story that I feel a bit like Witcher 3 all over again. So many references *shrugs* I'll carry on.
And then we pop back over to Zoe. This is the problem with dual protaganist. I'm finally immersed in one character and then I get sucked out and plopped elsewhere. I like Zoe, I do, but it takes me a few minutes not to be resentful about having one story interrupted with another I'm not focused on.

Still playing Game of Thrones and absolutely enjoying it. It’s somewhat different from the Tv show and I’m wondering if it’s more like the books or not, if that’s why it’s so different, does anyone here know? I’ve never read the books myself.

If I remember correctly, you play members of a family, that is neither in the books (or only briefly mentioned) nor in the tv show. I haven't played the game myself yet, but since you have a much bigger cast in the books and a lot of storylines, that don't link that obviously with the main stories, the game might be a bit more in line with the books

I just met an old aquantance in SWTOR. I know him from my days back at Vanjervalis Chain, where we used to do a lot of pvp togethers. And now, we've met again on Star Forge in a pvp match - imagine that. It is really nice, to meet some people I know from three years back again. ANd I tried out the jedi sentinel, because I couldn't play the marauder any more, because of the really stupid dialogue options and the fact, that you burp your enemies in the face - it's a bit inpolite, even for a Sith

Took the legendary Mazda 787B around the Bridgehampton Circuit. One of my favorite racing circuits in the world, and one of my favorite cars. 750 horsepower in a Mazda rotary engine and literally tons of downforces, manual transmission and my G27 wheel- one heck of a driving experience. This is one of my fastest laps.

So speaking of slang, lets see how much I can use today. Broke out my copy of Madden 18 today and my goal is to start 'updating' the Patriots roster with kind of a blend of the last updated roster for Madden 18 plus a few guys who have been added since plus maybe one or two of my own ones, before starting a fresh franchise, from scratch. So played five games and won all five of games but 2 fourth quarter comebacks. One game Rex Burkhead had 12 catches, another one he had 4 TDs, and then Gronk had 11 catches for 180 yards. But I guess that is all for now. Dunno when I will get back to Farcry but it should happen...soon.

Sims 4. So Alvin got abducted the night before Winterfest. But joke's on you aliens, there are eight sims/pets in the house, so you will have to spawn somewhere else! Then Tara and Alvin had a lovely little Winterfest with their siblings and children. And doggos were there somewhere.
Then there was the most glorious gym trip that ever was.
Sent Tara and Co to the gym, so the girls would get to do a bit of swimming in the indoors pool and Alvin could get his last fitness point. So they go, all is good and I may or may not have been a bit distracted by a youtube video on the side. Suddenly I notice that there was a crowd outside the front door. So I go and look and lo and behold my girl Katelynn is lying outside frozen. So okay, get Tara to plead for her and Grim says no. Well that sucks, but I had been thinking about trimming the tree so I let it happen.
So most of the sims are outside weeping, and since they are in grief they don't figure to change their outfit according to the weather. Then I notice some of them are getting kinda blue, including my boy Cyrus. And then he gets encased in ice and falls over. So now I start getting a wee bit worried. Send Tara to plead for him and Grim of course says no. So okay, I can salvage some of this I think and try to send Alvin and Tara out to convince my sims to change into their cold weather outfit. But everyone is too busy grieving and they keep cancelling my commands.
Then Micah also falls over, Grim ignores my pleas for his life. Then some random townie drops down, I ignore pleading for her. Then Kaylee drops and once more, Grim ignores me, which sucks since I liked her and had plans of hooking her up with Santa. Then Sophie drops and I get an idea. Grim has refused both Alvin and Tara, but can he deny a child? So send newly aged up Brandie to plead and score! Sophie is spared and luckily the idiot heads inside for a warm shower. Meanwhile, Grim snatches a fallen townie. Then Brandie ties again, pleading for newly fallen Kassidy and Grim complies, ending winters onslaught, since the rest of the sims were wearing proper attire. Deaths onslaught over, Tara relieves herself outside the gym and heads inside to try and satisfy her needs. But no one could leave yet, because a vampire is breaking in the gym and that's somehow my problem? But once Alvin had spoken to her, the harried family could finally head home.
Must say, this was a pretty amazing experience. Winter truly came this time. Hehe.
Back home I was a bit amused to see that Brandie was the one most traumatized over this. Seeing as she is the only one who has the evil trait and all. Alvin kept to himself, Tara pretty much forgot right away that her sister (Kaylee) just died and Violet seemed to get over it the next day. But Brandie spend the whole next day crying, both in her bed and on the floor and just being generally miserable. Even when she was sleeping she would whimper painfully and sniff. Poor girl. Luckily she recovered on the third day. Which might sound callous, but listening to a six year old constantly weeping in the background is quite enough for me.
Rest of session was quite chill. Moved on to Lacy and Adalyn who doctored in the day and partied in the night.

Yep... more MH:W. I noticed that under today's "Events" they allowed you to replay (as many times as you wanted) one of the big set-piece battles with Zorah Magdoros (think mountain-sized dragon). And since they were giving you a ton of money and good resources for an easy cinematic battle, I think I replayed it... 4x today. The kitty kitchen got another upgrade today as well. Got a new hat. Hunted few more HR monsters as well, then... payback time. The Kirin, aka My Little 'lectric Pony, was the only monster in low rank to beat me. But this time... I was prepared. And even then... what a slog. And I had geared myself specifically to face him.

In Diablo 3, did a few bounties with my monk, then switched to witch doctor to finish Act 2 of the campaign.
In Risen, I got tired of too-difficult-combat-while-not-giving-me-any-armor-AT-ALL to use - I enabled god mode so I wouldn't die in every fight. Nearly every enemy comes in packs of 3: wolves, boars, porcu-rats, giant insects, gnomes....everything. Combat is still tedious since it takes me forever to kill anything but I can take a hit (or 10) and not lose any health. Now I think I'm stuck since I can't seem to advance the main plot quest. Not sure if I skipped something somewhere or just haven't talked to the right person yet. I did discover the game has quest markers via the journal - would have been nice to know before I spent hours wandering aimlessly through the swamp looking for people!

So there I am, a bit lost and I wander by this man who's sweeping up in front of what I can only guess it some sort of whore house. It ends up being a Dream House. And the guy points out that he's doing a robot's job for the appearance of Nostalgia. And then just keeps talking. At first, I almost lost interest and start walking away when he begins his story. He was a veteran of the war, you see. And that was how I was delighted to listen to a really long and absurd story about his PTSD from the SODA wars. He doesn't want you to tell anyone but...he fought on the side of Fizz Whizz. This is so irrelevant to Zoe's story yet awesome bit of world building. MarilynRobert

Did you guys ever notice how creating gameplay for others can mean you spend more time on creating something than it is played?
Because I spent six hours on something yesterday. And the average time people play these missions is 2-3 hours.

WoW Battle for Azeroth. I finally reached Exalted reputation with 7th Legion, thus unlocking both their beautiful tabard and new allied race - Dark Iron Dwarves. While doing quest to ulock them I met this guy and for some reasons he reminded me of Bull Must be an eyepatch and horns. I also reached Revered reputation with other currently available factions, completing last step for Pathfinder Part 1 achievement. One step closer to flying in Kul Tiras and Zandalar. As for my other characters, I spend some of my time between world quests' resets farming herbs and ores on my rogue. Aside from one dungeon and ocassional killing of aggro'ed mobs, I only focused on gathering. And dinged 3 levels. Maybe getting to 120 with only that isn't as crazy idea as I thought
