Finished my first playthrough of Sekiro. I think the final boss fight I got in my story path might make up a third of my overall death counter and stands as my favorite fight of the game as a whole.
I also really like the ending I got, it's a refreshing change of tone for a FromSoft game of late.

In GRW: So I went around and finished off Villa Verde/ El Wey and it was a lot of fun. Jungle warfare is both the most annoying and the most fun. I mean it helps the ghosts be 'ghosts' but it is also often hard to have uninterrupted sightlines that I want for my chosen sniping. Still I did a lot of messing around last night. With the two pyroluscite labs that I had to blow up just was fecking around with the constant waves of reinforcements, sending in mortar strikes, dive bombing them with an explosive drone and blowing their cars. Oh and much to my shame all this time I have been playing again I forgot you could take out helicopter alarms with the EMP, for shame. Capturing El Wey himself was a bit of a bitch. Took me three times. First time was my fault since I tried to be cute and take out his vehicle with my ACR...and he drove away. Second time I had the right gun out but either he or the enemy hit him, killing him. Third time even though I got him I was still a little surprised when it took me 3 full .50 rounds to bring his truck down. One takes down a helicopter and one usually is enough to bring down a full supply truck let alone a simple SUV. But I got him and had to run from the Unidad patrols all the way back to the base. Dragged him into the extraction zone under fire actually. Which Bowman really threatened him with a blow torch. Anyways afterwards since I still had some time left I messed around before bed. First off I started shooting the Unidad patrols which were still coming, sniping them and blowing their vehicles from a distance AND THEN their people, also the rebels really gave out a helping hand. Then I took the helo and just flew straight up as high as I could go. 3552 meters in this case. Then I baiiled out and parachuted all the way down. I think I ended up two provinces over, ending up in the lake in PN. Agua Verde. Also I 'broke down' and bought the Show 19 last night. I guess with Gronk retiring it makes me paranoid that Dustin Pedroia could be next and last year's Red Sox did win the World Series and their line up is still pretty much surprisingly intact so why the hell not

Winter came for Wanda and along with it the second purposeful reload. First one was because I smashed a pumpkin in fall, when it was fully grown, loosing out 14 days of waiting and 300g at least. This time was because she got knocked out in the Skull mines. Hadn't made any progress there, but lost 7 items and 1000g. The money was fine, but among the items was my Obsidian Edge. And can't rebuy it and the closest sword in stats is like 25000g. So no. Not today.
So instead she spent the next few days at home, tending her animals and kegs. The second visit to the desert was far more profitable. Got a prismatic shard on the first few levels of the Skull mines, which meant I could go outside and get a Galaxy Sword which was like 100% improvement on the Obsidian Edge. Sweet.
Then spent time back on the farm. Added two sheep, a pig and four rabbits. The sheep are quite handy since their sheering time aligns with the goat milking time, so I don't need to waste time trying to milk them if the sheep aint ready. Pig is useless at the moment, but he'll shine in spring I'm sure of it. Rabbits are also a bit useless as well, but they've started to share their wool with me, are super cute and hopefully they'll soon start gnawing off and regrowing their legs. Or how ever Rabbit Feet are made.
Other wise a lazy season. Been making friends here and there. Thinking I might have her end up with Alex, but will probably try to boost up friendship with the other bachelors/bacherlorettes since I hear there can be a bit of a jealousy over the gifting. And who knows, maybe someone else will sweep her off her feet.
Had a real nice time at the end of the session, since it was the first day of Night Market and the music there is just perfect. Or at least real nice. Even got a mermaid show and a submarine ride, so how can I not be happy? So a good session of Stardew Valley all in all.

Trying another PT for Kingmaker. I didn't finish the first PT due to bugs. So far, I've yet to encounter any. I chose the new race to play, Aasimars. Aasimars are humans with a significant amount of celestial or other good outsider blood in their ancestry. One of the racial trait is the ability to manifest a light halo. It's more useful than a torch! The dungeons are soo dark. Although romances are available, I decided not to try initially. I want to concentrate on the neutral good / lawful good I've chosen for the char. But after I read about a secret romance that can be unlocked, well, I'll try my luck. I hope you have fun. I found the game to be okay but it really wasn't for me. I hate with a passion that the main quests have timers on them, that I found a real turn off. I use a mod to instant complete kingdom events (KE) which are like the DAI war table quests. This gives me plenty of time to do other quests, explore and wait for some of the main quests to kick off. In the first PT I was struggling because; I was unfamiliar with the game mechanics Amount of time needed to rank up advisors (under KE) Dealing with fallouts when an advisor fails (under KE) Building the Kingdom (under KE) Amount of time travelling around to deal with problems / quests / open up the routes There's nothing more frustrating than to have bugs stymied progress which was why I dropped the first PT and waited for the devs to kick out the bugs.

I chose the new race to play, Aasimars. Is this a D&D game? Aasimar is also a playable race in NWN2. I don't think I've heard them called that in any other setting.

I chose the new race to play, Aasimars. Is this a D&D game? Aasimar is also a playable race in NWN2. I don't think I've heard them called that in any other setting. Yes it is. Think of it as DAI in isometric and indepth with interesting chars, twists, etc. I've already gotten a few pies in the face. Protag - six races to choose from, 14 classes, no VA Companions - 11, with VA. They also act as advisors if chosen when kingdom is formed. Party - six. More if there are animal companions Map is big with many places. Build the kingdom and see the change. Party can suffer from fatigue when travelling too long or too much fighting, it will affect their abilities. To recuperate, while on the world map, make camp. Player has to designate who's doing the cooking, what recipe, who will keep watch, etc. If resting is done within a zone, you can see them going about their tasks and listen to the dialogue among the companions, thus learning more about them. The bad thing about this game is the loading screens. LS whenever you move from zone to zone; from throne room to town square to tavern to world map, etc.

Finished New Dawn. 16h. Boy, what a shit story... I thought it couldn't get worse after FC5. But this game is the worst written piece of lazy shit I've ever come across. The dying words of the twins, conbined with the sappy music were hilariously bad. The worst part is that it was completely serious like FC5. I believe you're supposed to actually feel bad for the bad guys in the end. LOL. I was SO looking forward to killing Joseph Seed and then the game ruined even that! At least he wasn't made out to be the savior of everyone but still a shit character from start to finish. The teenage drama with the son throwing tantrums was on the same level of Kylo Ren, he even looked a lot like him, hahaha. Sooo very cringy.
The part that actually pisses me off a bit is how the settlement upgrades were completely pointless. I could have sworn they said something about defending your settlement in the trailer. So we were expecting the big showdown to involve a massive attack on our base. We made sure it was 100% upgraded. Yeah, well, the final confrontation happened elsewhere.... apart from a few freebies the base nets you, this entire aspect was one huge waste of time and resources.
What a joke of a lazy cash grab...
I don't regret spening money on it because in co-op it was still fun. But this is a BAD game. Like insultingly bad in some ways. Do NOT buy it if you want to play solo.

in STALKER OGSE, I did some running around and inventory management. I had to hide in the train wreck, in the first map, and use a shotgun on some void dogs. After dying to them a few times, I just went cheap and killed them. I do have an AK with a russian reflex sight. But the shotguns are just so good in this game. I have a spaz 12 currently, I need to do sid's quest, to get the Shotgun AK, with the reflex sight.

So lets see here, MLB the Show 19. The game continues its rather...interesting...tradition of when the game isn't even installed it lets you play a game, the same game essentially, while waiting for it to finish. You can play this one game, but nothing else in the entire thing. Which was hardly surprising since this is my first rodeo but still annoying since I am not going to get to play the game yet.
So I played the game twice. And well the good news is my pitching isn't suffering. The bad news is I am still not good with the advanced hitting controls so back to the basic. First game I lost 1-0 in 11. Game 2 though won 13-1. I had 24 hits. Sale struck out 14 in eight innings, and well I mopped the floor with them. So these hitting controls but need to do...higher difficulty will probably be advised since this is only my second time going and I dominated a super star.

Didn't know/realize Liberation was also getting remastered with AC3. So chased that chicken and went through an acid trip without feeling sick. Whoop. Probably not going to play through it yet, but really enjoyed seeing Aveline's face looking all crisp and defined. Gave Odyssey a small spin as well and fought the lady with the writhing hair. Good news is that I can damage her. Think I shaved like 1/4 of her health bar. Bad new is that it's not fun. Wouldn't say boring, since she still kicked my arse six ways from Sunday. Just, like that I have no drive to get better at the fight. Like I had a hard time with the Bull but he managed to make it personal so when I died I wanted to get right back in his grill. With her it's like K, Cool. Still, a nice excuse to listen to music so had some fun.

I didn't buy FC5 after watching my son play and when I saw the trailers for ND I just thought no way am I buying this. Glad to hear I made the right decision.

I hear ya, I wish they had not made those fights necessary for the Atlantis ending, I am really not a fan and/or good at that prolonged melee/archery combat and it actually physically stresses me out. They should have made it like Trial of The Gods in Origins and totally optional or made them more realistic boss fights as per the rest of the game.

I played a little more OGSE last night. I got a mission done for sid, clearing out some mutants from an area. Then I tried to sneak into the military base...that did not go well. Went in at midnight, with night vision. Hit the same mine 3 times, and had to reload all 3 times. Then I got poped from the guy in the tower twice and had to reload. Finally made it to a tree, with all the military guys shooting at something in the dark (I think the starter village is attacking the military for some reason). When I went to get close tot he fence, one of the guys who was shooting at something in the darkness, turned around, and killed me. I called it a night right there. Still rocking the spaz 12, and the mp5. I did repair those too, so now both weapons are at 100%. Also, I went into the config files (Instructions can be found here), and increased my carry weight 100 Kilos.

In GRW: Warning, bit of a rant incoming I'm afraid. So I 'finished' the game for the second time last night and was feeling quite pleased with myself overall. Until Bowman pulled out her gun and shot El Sueno, just like...well the last time. Much to my horror and annoyance. So here I was panicking and flipping through the map seeing if I missed any mission, I thought that Ubisoft...in their infinite wisdom...added on the DLC 'live service' missions into the mix. Which would suck. But instead after waiting a couple of minutes it came up and said something along the other lines 'congrats you have completed GRWs and have unlocked an alternate ending, play through El Sueno's mission again!'. This is the first and really big glaring design flaw in the entire game (unless I am forgetting a previous rant) and what's worse I suspect it could be tying right back into their insistence on Live Service, just stretch out that game time every bit you can so people will stick around. So apparently to get the 'alternate ending' you have to dismantle the entire cartel, including El Sueno, which is the end of the game! Which also means the 'best ending' isn't the best ending but just an alternate what if ending. So Bowman ruining her life is 'canon'. What's worse is this is by far and away unneccessary. I still really like the game, its still the best shooter I have ever played...well probably...and among the best Open World games. Afterall I already put in a second PT in the first place and continued to play. This is also not the worse thing a game has done in its ending just...ugh. But up until then I was having a lot of fun. I basically thought that El Sueno had a surprise waiting for us at Ricky Sandoval's confession location so I basically just cleared out and slaughtered all the siccario's. It was a bit fun also getting El Yayo's family, but with all the rifle grenades exploding all over the place it could a couple of civvies killed. Always annoying. In AC: 7 So to balm my wounds I played through the mission 'Lighthouse' in Ace Combat 7. And I had a blast. Got some great video of the situation of the Arsenal bird blowing up, watched a missile go all the way into the target and then I got to follow it down and then when the shield went down...kind of reminded me of Independence Day.

So Wanda has made it to Spring of the Second Year in Stardew Valley. Making her the second character that got this far for me, the other being Benjamin. But he pretty much slept through Winter and his run fizzled out soon after Spring was half way through. Wanda is so far staying up for most of the day (sometimes early nights at 9:30 pm but ya'll need sleep to be farmers). So maybe she'll make it through the second year, maybe not.
Winterfest was nice, got Leah as a secret giftee and Linus as a secret gifter.
Sheeps have turned traitors and started wanting to be sheered everyday. Which granted is great for profit but now I need to remember that the goats get milked every even day. Added a dark little chicken to the Coop and calling her Sebastian. For reasons.
Finished the Community Center 4th day of Spring, since I was silly and didn't have any Sunfish on hand. Granted I would also have needed to invest in a pig earlier since I didn't have truffles either. So. Either way, now Shane is unemployed and can spend his day getting drunk. Also think Sam is unemployed as well, so I think I more wrecked things for the community rather than fixed anything. Ehehe. But got a hefty bunch of two hearts for everyone, so that was pretty nice.
Also did that "new" quest which gained me access to a Jumino hut. Which would probably be grand if I decided to use it.
Ended the session after getting the notification that a massive explosion was heard in the night. Did check what it was and it was a bloody meteor in the garden. Luckily it was in the "I'll fix this area...later" area, so no harm done. Didn't find it at first so for a while I was a bit worried that Kent or Shane might have mucked something up with their mail bombs. But nope, luckily it was just a rock from the aliens. Who are still out there! So good times all around.

So yesterday having pre-loaded the remastered AC3 I finished the download and jumped straight into it because that's just how it happened. Very early first impressions and comments as I have only just arrived as Haytham in Boston and headed with Charles Lee to The Green Dragon. The graphics are improved but in some instances I would not say they are improvement (remember early days) in particular whilst skin tone and clothing textures are definitely improved, eyes are a bit weird unless they are brown. NPC's with blue eyes, well the eyes almost shine out of their faces too brightly and it is a bit immersion breaking. I have heard but not experienced that they haven't removed the QTE's, thanks Kaidan Fan (curses Ubisoft under my breath) which is OK but those lumberjacks are gonna get some cursing. Gameplay, combat and climbing etc are still mostly intuitive but its weird going back to it after playing in particular Origins and Odyssey. I remember what a nightmare climbing the ships masts were in the opening section as Haytham first time I played but it was a walk in the park this time around after over 1,000hrs of Black Flag I and got 100% completion without even trying on that section. Never did before. Looking forward to playing some more today but really just want to get through the Haytham section, always find that a bit trying and into the wilderness areas to check them out. I usually play pretty completionist but think I'll be just trying to stick to the story this time around so I can get back and do an Alexios PT (Which I have only just started) in Odyssey. Pic's OMG 70+ days at sea in this type of ship!!!!! Good question but he made the wrong choice This won't hurt a bit, I like how they have such a civil conversation knowing a murder is about to transpire A night at the theatre, who is the boy in the background I know you meet him later and he tells you?

Kingmaker. I'm 102 hours in. Actually, it's about 80+ hours if I take off the hours I spent for the first PT before dropping it due to bugs. Got my Kingdom and boy was I stuck for over a game month settling various incidents and ranking up the advisers; I want to go adventuring! Stop throwing papers at me! Got my wish. Accepted the invitation from the ruler of a nearby kingdom to a tournament. Someone talked about problems, bandit problems and asked if I couldn't solve it because their king wasn't doing it. Erm, this isn't MY land, not going to interfere. Besides your king is a slimy sort, putting his hands on my avatar without permission. Additionally, I'm pretty sure you're setting me up for a fall. Your kingdom isn't exactly a bright halo. By the by, made my way back after exploring the territory; hey, you invited me, you can't expect me to leave without getting the lay of the land. On the way back to the city, I got a message saying the Curator is screaming for an audience with the Queen. Say what? Sure enough, Linsi leaped in with the problem the minute my avatar stepped into the throne room. *shriek shriek shriek* I looked at the royal dais and opted for a practical response rather than follow her in throwing hysterics. After participating in another contest hosted by a char from the First World, I was given the chance to ask three questions. There's a question about; who's my true love, that sort of thing. Didn't bother to ask that one because I know I didn't make any ventures to any of the companions. I'm sure he'll give a vague answer that I wouldn't be able to make any sense of.

So 45 minutes of AC3 yesterday and yet again discovered that playing anything when you are tired and unwell is frustrating and a waste of time. So achieved little, got frustrated lots and I am questioning why I am playing the game a lot, however I have always found this initial part of the game frustrating so. I absolutely hate the listening in to others missions and I just couldn't concentrate well enough yesterday and failed them repeatedly until I finally completed them but failed the sub-objectives. Then had moved on to the stupid mission where Charles Lee tags along and you have to find Benjamin Church un-detected. I always remembered this taking several attempts previously but after 3 attempts yesterday I stopped and had a sleep on the lounge which was far more enjoyable!!!!! Will give all gaming a skip today and just read I think and hopefully tomorrow I will be better prepared to deal with failure or just not fail at all at this silly stealth mission.

This happened. Oh and say hai to Wanda. Other wise mostly just the usual Spring farming. Got a sad scene with Shane which resulted in a happier scene later on. Also got kinda sad-ish scene with Sebastian, but he seems to be feeling a bit better. Confirmed my suspicions that Leah's ex depends on the players gender, which is fair enough. And have been getting other friend scenes as well, since slow and steady everyone is warming up to Wanda. Think I got all the villagers you meet in the first few days at 4 hearts, which is grand. Upgraded the house once more and now she has a nursery. But no kids. Maybe she can invite Vincent and Jas to sleepover? Or is that weird? Either way, soon she'll also have a basement and then we'll know she truly made it! So grand times.

Finally got back to Bound by Flame.
Found some lost soldiers (well, their bodies anyway) and a healer's apprentice lost in the swamp. Then ended up doing the Ch 1 main quest since it was along the way I was going. Killed a big beastie thing (not sure why it is that Spiders likes having giant monster fights super early in their games; at least I wasn't soloing this time as I had an archer companion with me). The beastie was guarding a prisoner, who happened to have been imprisoned by ... dun dun dun ... the leader of the faction my merc group is working for. Doh! Freed the witch (who sounds like she is voiced by Aveline's VA) and then she killed the dude. Dammit - he was paying my wages, witch!
Back to the village to explain why she's here and dead dude isn't. That went over well.
Then headed back out to the swamp for more missing men and super secret ingredients that can only be found at night (since that's when the creepy-crawlies they come from are out roaming).
I think the witch's deep dark secret is she's really a man....her name is "Edwen" and the demon seems to think her body is fake. Now I'm getting flashes of Edwin/Edwina in BG2....

In the Show:
So first off in the Show I did my usual tradition of making myself as a super Pitcher in it. And then I was a little intimidated by the game's character creator. It maes me both nervous and excited for DA 4..but then it could definityly go in the 'too much of a good thing' school of CCs. Anyways though it was fun but still took me like half an hour to do. lol.
As for the games itself I think I am 6-2 so far in my exhibition games. So far I am really liking this version, the fielding controls and mechanics seems to be a lot tighter and easier to manage and its not quite as rage inducing as some of the crap Madden pulls. Even when I lose. Perhaps the only note is the game apparently refused to substitute pitchers mid inning when you are fast forwarding so....yeah. Also the presentation and commentary seems to be lagging behind. I had two dramatic extra inning gams in a row. One I was on the mound and got lit up for 5 runs, putting me down 5-1 in the sixth. But my pen held up till then and slowly I chipped away at them, and eventually Rafael Devers it a two run home run in the bottom of the 10th to win the game 7-5. Second game I was up 3-0 and then they came back to tie it 3-3. Took me to the bottom of the 11th when Mookie Betts hit a soft liner down the right field line which scored the running at second. Final game lost 10-5, but since it was 10-1 in the bottom of the ninth I'll take it.

Kingmaker. Well crap. After over a 100 hours of play, I arrive at the crucial point in the secret romance to find...I don't have the romance choice. wtf.... omg, if I want to see it, I have to find out what I did wrong and repeat the 100 hours of play. Shucks, just going to finish this PT and have done. I'll leave the dang romance for another day, months later. Not going to do another PT so soon. It's mind boggling going round and round dungeons. Update; I finished the game. Got a good ending of sorts. Since the Queen didn't romance anyone, she got a slew of marriage proposals. While playing the game, I was thinking; aren't the other countries even interested in an alliance via marriage? But none of it happened until it's mentioned in the epilogue slides. I thought it would be interesting if the marriage proposals come during the game and the queen is forced to choose someone, via portraits presented by ambassadors, to settle a situation. That suitor could be rejected or accepted to become a companion later and he would be a romanceable char. Anyway, I went spoiler hunting and the secret romance is the better ending. Dang. Oh well, I know where I went wrong. I wasn't lovey dovey in the initial meetings. I was playing neutral good / lawful good and chose those responses.

In the Show 19:
So I think I got 5 more games in to set my roster and I am really enjoying myself actually. This game is great and highly addictive and probably better then Madden. Anyways I am quite sure I went like 4-1, first game I played against the Baltimore Orioles I lost 2-0, then the rest I won. Including beating the Yankees with myself. It did get a little tense because I was going along minding my own business doing quite great in the start and then ran into a lot of trouble in the 7th. Basicaly a lot of really bad luck led to it being a bases-loaded situation and no one out. Well I worked out of it without giving any runs up, pretty sure I had to strike out the side in order to do it.
But the coup on my part was my striking out 21 batters against the Rangers. The current Major League record is 20. So I have more then the record and the really funny part is I lasted only 8.2 innings, so I did not actually complete the game and had to turn it over to Eovaldi for the final out.

Took a break from Red Dead 2 to try out Thronebreaker. I had to laugh when I finished the tutorial and the games basically like, "you're on your own, buddy." The first battle took some time to figure out, but I finally got it. I appreciated that there was very little down time after a failure, mere seconds really.

Played some Borderlands 2 Handsome Edition for the first time in co-op. Ignoring my brief stint with the Anthem demo, this is my first looter shooter. I've never played an MMO either. The first few hours I was mostly confused with the quest structure and less than thrilled that loot isn't shared. I was complaining the whole time I think... this can't have been fun to listen to. I was not particularly happy with the gameplay loop. I thought it was okay-ish? Art design was fine but running back and forth for quests was kinda meh. In general, I have a hard time focusing on NPCs in co-op, and it's especially bad in this game. Doesn't help that conversations constantly break when your partner activates something else, so most of the time I didn't really know what was going on. Figuring out where quests are is also sort of annoying because you only see the active one on the map.
I'm playing a psycho, trying to go for the pyro build but not sure exactly what I'm doing. I mostly just blast stuff with my shotgun so far. Not too fond of melee. Only very recently got a decent fire pistol I'm enjoying a lot. Boyfriend is playing the mechromancer girl. So basically the robot and I go charging in while he shoots stuff with the sniper from afar. So naturally I die a lot and the robot saves our asses.
Last night I started having more fun but I'm not sure I really get the love for this type of game... Compared to Anthem, there's A LOT of loot but 99% is crap. Then I did find an awesome blue shotgun but an hour later I must have accidentally sold it because it's gone now. The purple one I have is good too though, just a lot slower.
Music is good, I dig the art style. Humor is fine but not 100% my thing. I liked the Telltale Borderlands game better. We'll keep playing, it's a nice enough game to blow off steam after work. But I'm certainly not in love with it. Best co-op experience by far was DOS2. I also had more fun with Farcry 5 and New Dawn even though they were arguably shit games with a terrible terrible story.
So if Borderlands 2 is the best looter shooter on the market (or was until Devision 2?), I don't think I want to play any other.
