More Mafia today. Did the mission with the precious car. Biggest hassle turned out to be finding the damn garage, since Bob could not get it out of his gob which door it was. So spent like 5 minutes wandering the parking lot before his highness deigned to open the door. Driving it safely was no problem at all, granted you could get a few hits without them counting. I did bump it three times, ooops, but no scratches! Not like that paper mache car in GTA Vice City. Timer was also fine since I had quite some time to spare at the end of the mission. So it was a pretty nice time.
Then there was the infamous race. Which I won! On Very Easy, No Damage. On the third try. On that difficulty. It was a tedious mission.
The victory was sour at best, since the drivers were pretty much made incompetent, but that was the only skill I could beat when I also had to deal with the car going 180° because of reasons and flipping on its head (snapping the protags neck) for lesser reasons. If it was only 3 laps, then maybe, but 5 laps with a finicky car was too much effort for far to little reward.
Then the next mission. Which was escorting the bartenders daughter through a street fighter neighborhood. Then she ended up being a love interest, because of course, she was the only female in the game so far with a name and more than five lines of dialog. So a keeper that one. The courting bit was kinda sweet but them banging could have waited. Or just be skipped completely, I wouldn't have complained. Instead I just had to marvel at his badly textured nipples. Yay. And protag, the only thing special Luigi is going to have for you after that stunt is his fist up your arse. Just sayin'.
Then it was time to bust some heads. And get shot in the gut by a man standing a few steps away from protags gut because guns are fun! Took four more times to get through that bit. Two if we don't count the times Paulie got camera shy and refused to do his part in the cutscene. The car chase then took five tries or so and quite more flipped birds at the screen. Even managed to get to the end cutscene once, then was greeted with a game over screen after the cutscene. Classy game, classy. And yay I noticed a cutscene detail, yay for me! Next mission is a hotel one, which could be nice, could be awful, will be found out in next session. Hehe. But it was fun all in all. The game has charm even if it is quite frustrating at times.

'Banished'.
A little gem on GOG. It's a sort of resource management & build game, like 'Settlers', 'Sim City', 'Zoo Tycoon' etc, with a slight taste of 'Don't Starve'. It's pauseable realtime, so not turnbased. Time period seems to be just pre-industrial.
On 'Hard' (only thing I would play) you have this group of people with extreme community rules, who have been thrown out into the wilderness. The only thing they have is a cart with personal belongings, which thankfully includes some tools and food. And there you go. The mission is to survive and build a stable community, and hopefully thriving community eventually.
I'm still slogging on my first attempt. Of course I've learned many "I-won't-do-it-that-way-next-time" things, but I'm drawn in and interested in making it with this flawed village.
Now, it's possible to accelerate time to get through build phases. It's taught in the tutorials, while most things you need to learn are NOT in the tutorials. Instead, you learn the ropes by observing while the game runs non-accelerated. These little characters time and work is very precious, and you cannot afford to waste any of it, during oblivious, accelerated runs. You see things that are not working, you see something that is not how you imagine it should be. And you need to investigate and correct. That's how you learn to play this game.
Because there are pitfalls. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, and I think discovering how things work is part of gameplay. However, there are some things that just tend to make you angry when you fail, so I now intend to give you some hints:
The "extreme community rule", is that these people don't copulate and and have children, unless the young couple have their own house. Kinda a bit like Amish.
Watch your tools. They wear out. And when you're out of tools...
In the beginning, several things are critical at the same time. Food sources are not equal. Particularly not in terms of initial time and investment. What do they tend to do in 'Survivor' and 'Naked and afraid', as the very first means of getting food? (Ignoring that simple wisdom cost me two people starving to death).
Once you get so far as to have a school, always have at least one 'laborer'in work. Because if you don't, all the students are going to be kicked out as un-educated laborers when the teacher eventually dies of old age. And that won't help your productivity. When someone dies, his/her occupation always recruit a replacement from 'laborer'. If no one is available, this normally doesn't have deep repercussions. The teacher though, is different.
Anyway, a game that is both fascinating and somewhat of a slow slog, but a fascinating slog.

June 6th was today (or well, yesterday), so ended up loading up Pathfinder to see what was new. Someone spilled crack in my teams breakfast, since they were far faster and squirrellier today than ever before. But it was kinda nice in the larger areas, so hopefully the dose is in the rest of their meals.
Made Yrovetta number 6 or something and made quite some progress with her, since she was a freshly cooked baroness at the end of the session. She's neutral evil, so saw yet another variation of the capital. She's got skulls, statues and a Hassuf who argues with a line of customers. So that's nice I guess.
A-Team at the moment is Amiri, Jaethal, Harrim, Regongar and Kermylla the merc. Told Valerie and Linzi "Bye Felicia" but only Valerie took the hint. Also tried the "Bye Felicia" with Tristian and only got lip for my effort. I'll remember that...
Been trying to encourage Regongar's puns, so been having a punny time.
Also tried to tell the Nymph off, but alas the game forces you to co-operate with her to a point. And will probably try to lie that we were charmed by her charms. Psh.
New stuff I've seen so far is nice. Haven't tried the new dlc yet though. But been to several new areas and noted some changes in the existing ones. Feel like I've gotten way more nice loot, since Yrovetta was pretty loaded once she got her title. Which again, was nice.
So in general it was a pretty nice update. Not sure if I'll keep up with this run or go back to Mafia. Maybe both.

I had another go at getting through the tutorial of Thronebeaker. I lost 5 straight gwent matches. I had no idea what was going to happen when I played a card, or why, when the opposition seemingly played the same card and all sorts of wonderful things happened for her. It's just too complicated for me, so I've given up on this game.

I never got Gwent, I am hopeless with the mini games in most games so often don't even bother. Oh, I loved gwent in Witcher 3, it's the reason I keep going back to play it, but the gwent in thronebreaker is a completely different game, and the tutorial doesn't explain why your opposition seems to be playing an entirely different rule set. If you stuck with it long enough to learn, it might be alright, but the game doesn't look interesting enough for me to bother. I'm glad I got it on sale.

It's an amazing little game that sold poorly undeservedly.
I played on Normal and the story battles were pretty easy to me even though my previous Gwent skills were of NO use anymore. Complete overhaul. In fact, most of the mandatory battles were so easy that I considered bumping up the difficulty. Some of the puzzles drove me crazy though. And I had to look up two of them. So I ended up sticking to Normal because the puzzle matches were annoying enough already. And by annoying I mean fun to work it all out. But frustrating if that took 30 minutes because I'm not the most logical thinker.

In bloodlines, I got to china town. I convinced the old partners to get along again, sadly no money, but lots of XP! I also survived the ambush, and saved the life of the guy too. Man I'm loving the Toreador speed boost. I have it up to lvl 4 atm, and I'm just blasting my way through enemies. I kicked that on, during the ambush, and I riped through the guys like a hot knife through butter. It was great. I'm really specing my guy to melee weapons, and persuasion. I feel like I'm missing out on a bit, by not putting more into seduction. But eh. I'll take persuasion lvl 7, melee lvl 6, and defense lvl 6 over that any day. I think I need to get my persuation to 8, for the Giovani mansion...but I'm not 100% on that number. I'll save before sinking those points into that, and if that doesn't work, then I'll reload and put them into melee. I just confronted Johny, after persuading the guy to let me upstairs. That went as well as you'd expect. I had just started killing guys, and got a katana off one of them. I didn't have enough to buy a katana and the armor, so I just have the armor going into the club. And now, my melee guy has a sword. Can't wait to use it on some fools. Slicing and dicing.

Funny, Catherine (along with Mahatma "Nuke Party" Gandhi) is typically one of those who becomes a PITA for me. But here she is, suitably subdued. I can't understand why you play these games . They don't feature massively online, non-stop, flashy, fireworks of colors-, dodge and shoot, platformer-combat. That is the future of gaming, according to gaming journalists and publisher marketeers. I do believe I tried to explain to EA and Bioware, several times, about a decade ago, that all over the entire world, there are only about 12-15 million people interested in playing such games, and that they can't play all such games at the same time. But they told me I was wrong .

On my lunch break, I finished up the rescue. I had to break out of the bar, and the lvl 4 clerity lets you dodge bullets. Man thats fun. Its a bit like superhot, but more live action.
Now I'm just starting the giovani mansion with 23 xp points. I think I have enough to up my persuasion to 9, if needed. I'm hoping 8 will be enough though.

So yesterday in my continuing effort to reduce the size of the quest journal and also push towards L99 I basically killed the Lykaon Wolf and the Krokottas Hyena, was slightly annoyed Daphnae didn't give me any private time. Also did the daughters of Lalaia LToG and that's now all of them except the Bad Day one, are there any issues with doing that mid story, I am assuming not but wanted to leave it till after the main story if that made more sense. So helped these two: Humbled the Pirate and got extra rewards afterwards from her: Killed the wolf who at about 5% health managed to summon not kidding about 20 wolves!!!!! Killed the Hyena who is a pain to fight, just the Bull left now. And colfoley just to prove I can occasionally get a headshot with the bow. Felt sorry for the poor bear.

Lollygagged in Pathfinder, visiting the Ruined Watchtower and Swamp. Also started poking at a concept at a Maegar's General for Yvoretta. He's a a lot less flirty when your male, so crossing fingers that a certain chest revealing bard might be bi. Couldn't cook up a team for him so keeping him on ice for now. Then a bit of House Flipper, until the world broke down, the grass disappeared and I decided to bail before the game crashed or something. Then Mafia, since I was feeling a bit gangster. Well more modern than that, since I was listening to rap, sooo.... Got pulled over twice on the way to the next mission. Both because I crossed on a red while the coppers were conveniently in front of me. Taxi's and Cop cars look the same in my eyes. Yes that's my excuse. In the first pull over they got offended by my parking safely on the other intersection, so they arrested me. Or maybe they knew what his mind was cooking. Second time I got off with a ticket and a slap on the wrist. Which probably stung quite a bit while he slaughtered a bunch of people at the hotel few blocks away. Hotel murder took two tries at first. First try was ended by getting shotgunned in the face at the stairwell. The second was much tactical, very successful. Except he got a bit blown out of his flank by a surprise shotgun toting person juuuuust before that part ended. And since I'm a moron/believed this was much real no health potions, did not trek down to check out the first aid kit on the first floor before moving on with the whole blowing up bit. So I ended getting a save point with 18/100 hp. Which is great. Died three times from trying to jump off the roof before finding the fire-stairs. Then probably five times just at the stairs. Then 20 times at various points on the roof. By that time I was ready for some real life manslaughter. So asked google for help and found some lies about a first aid on the roof. While it was a dirty lie I did learn that healing was in fact an option. Niiiice. Add 10 deaths searching for the first aid kit. Eventually gave up (after I might have gotten some RL venting done...) and reloaded back in the hotel. Died once for trying to bring a knife to a shotgun fight. Which was funny so let's let it pass. Second try was more successful and ended on the roof with 88/100 hp. Made it through the session on the first (or maybe second) try. Then glorious save point! Interrupted a funeral and got killed on the second wave of offended mourners. Second try was successful. Whoo. Then a car chase. On a hearse. NIIIICE. Took three tries, first time he was shot down, second just arrested, third he did the shooting down (just blocked the parking lot with the hearse and then sniped in the total safety of the gas tank. Heh). So that was frustrating, long arse mission. Outside of wanting to bulldoze the wall I still had fun. Also found named woman number 2, who got more dialog. So that was nice. Not waifu material what with us planning to murder her, but at least protag wuzzed out and her bubble bath kept it's clear color. Or well, at least not red. Yellow is a possibility... Then a bit of a trip too the country side. Farms are scary at night in thunderstorms. Also found that the guy I thought died a few missions ago was in fact alive. Well, barely. But he ended the mission either still breathing or minced for soup. Both are fine. And finally decided to look up that Speed Limiter I'd seen being mentioned in posts while looking up other things. And oh boy is it convenient to not have to worry about speeding. Now it's just down to crossing fingers that the police isn't around when I'm crossing lights, since using the pavement while passing them is in fact not that clever of an idea... Ooof that next mission. Drama galore and twice as many deaths. Both mine and poor people caught in the crossfire. Solution ended up being using a pickup car as a battering ram. And was happy that my predictions were wrong. Next up is maybe a timed stealth mission? Hope not but probably will be. All in all it was fairly fun. Caught up with a bunch of new music while driving, gave the old blood pump a good cardio and enjoyed the story in between. Also finally turned on fraps while playing to get a picture of protags handsome mug. Is it just me or does he look like Kaidan if he got himself a snazzy suit?

My village (in 'Banished') has been very happy, very healthy, well fed, well clothed for a very long time now. That doesn't mean it has been smooth sailing though. On the contrary, it's a product of me carefully monitoring, planning and juggling things around. Because most things have been balancing just on the good side of the margins. My long term problems have mainly been caused by a crisis in available manpower. Which was caused by me not understanding that if there were no houses available for young lovers, there would be no children. This put me in a deep generational crisis that has taken long time to shrug off. It's coming along now though. One consequence of that is that more food will now be required. Also, I need things to trade, to get valuable resources. The only good thing I've been able to get sofar, is Pecan seeds. That deal swiped my trade house clean of goods. But it was worth it. The minimal Pecan orchard (1 worker) I was able to get going, has been instrumental in keeping the food situation afloat. Now, with more manpower, I've made a maximum Pecan orchard which I have great hopes for. When the trees get old enough they should provide an abundance of food as well as giving me something to trade. So that Pecan orchard is kinda exciting now.

I'm back in a Tamriel prison, in spite of spending hours in character creation, my Dunmer spellsword ended up looking pretty much like every other green skinned, red eyed Elf I've made. I think I need some hair mods, this is the only vanilla hair I like, and it makes them all look the same. Plus I forgot how long it takes to make the neck and body colours match in Oblivion. i.imgur.com/rWNHoS4.jpg

You should have an option to skip to win scenario if you lose the match. It's in the game settings, I think, and allow you to continue with the story. I used that because I never like the gwent games. Never did them at all in TW 3. ****** dazk asked me how I rate TW3. Here's what I gave him. Pros optimized game good graphics / animation fast efficient loading good VAs Cons bad economy bad horse mechanics; riding / fighting on horseback bad underwater lighting bad underwater swim animation no mini cave map slope terrain a skateboard playground bad climbing mechanics too many filler irrelevant quests cluttering up the journal insufficient exposition / interaction with LIs for newcomers One aspect of the game I do like is the ambivalent nature of the quests. It set the player to sit and debate whether this or that action would bring the best result. Take the Bloody Baron quest line. Sometimes it's all very well to say / allow one's passions to rule; must save the children and focus only on a good result for them, the children. No one could fathom it brought about a domino reaction that impacted an entire province, hundreds of people. Most players, I think, were shocked by this. It can be laid on the way most quests in RPGs are structured in which the reverberation of an action is contained within the immediate vicinity of the parties involved. This is what set TW 3 a little apart from the rest. The devs showed the unexpected ripples of a stone dropped in water, the unpredictable impact of a decision.

Ok so yesterday another short opportunity to play, main aim was to kill the legendary Kretan Bull. So did some sailing as Messara is one of the only places I haven't planted a FT point, on the way noticed a Merc. on the map and it was one of the 4 in front of me in the top tier so marked her. She very kindly stayed there waiting for to arrive and even decided to have a sleep. So pumped her full of arrows and then took her out with Rush Assassination. Then did a couple of the swordfish quests first and placed another couple of FT points. then headed off to fight the bull, got ganked by damn Lynx twice but at least there are lots of ore deposits to pick up. Got to the Bull and had my easiest legendary fight ever. Jumped in to the area a fair bit away from the poor beast and my first poisoned devastating arrow knocked it off its feet. Then I hit it with 4 more and it was down to less than half health and started doing its silly buck and kick thing even though I was nowhere near it. So waited patiently for it to run at me which it did and one hit it with Heroic Strike. I took zero damage, a first for me!!!! Pics Bit of sailing and day turns to night Poor Isla The Snow Leopard receives the pointy end of Kass's Sword The Bull

A bunch of Mafia stuff. Like a lot. Also sleepy and rambly. So be careful. Next mission was a stealth mission. I hate stealth missions. Ended up following a guide. It turned out not to be that tricky, but my spacial awareness is shite which makes pattern tracking hard. Per usual took many, many tries. First success ended up with four glorious murders, no car and had to backtrack for documents. Since the game saved after that I figured I might try giving proper stealth a go, since I was in the clear otherwise. Second success was stealthy, graceful and elegant. Nobody died, but three got a concussion. Got the car, made it to the gate and F-it I forgot the documents. So park the car at the gate, scuttle back, get the document, walk back to the car but trigger the area transition and am booted out without a car. Ffffffff. Third success I got the document, limited concussions to two, got the car and drove out. Much grace, very good. Did quite like the mission all in all. The area was pretty, it was kinda fun at succeeding at skulking and it had nice little small things. Just that stealth missions preemptively freak me out. On the drive home I hit a pedestrian who was crossing on the stop sign. There were cops on each side of the street, granted their backs were turned but the crunch was pretty loud...Luckily I wasn't speeding nor crossing a red light so they didn't do a damn...Or maybe they were respecting the car. Still, law enforcement is weird. Next mission can go die in a hole. Game crashed at the end of the cutscene, which was handy since I just remembered something about some of the music being missing and having seen ways how to get it. So did that and now there is a bunch of music everywhere. The car has a radio, cutscenes have songs, crazy I tells ya. Then on with the mission. First part was a pain, since Paulie liked to run off on his own to get plastered with bullets while Sam figured the barrel of my gun was the ideal place to hide. Feckers. But that was nothing compared to the car chase afterward. Now that can not only die in the hole but pierce itself with rusty nails while it does so! Although honestly I wouldn't be so raging mad if one of the turn hadn't been me, having lost my pursuers, no damage what so ever on the car, drive onto a patch of grass and suddenly fail the game. Sure I can get crushed between two trains, rammed repeatedly by chasing cars and crash into walls, but gods forbid the car drives on grass for five minutes. And don't get me started on Paulie. Yes I want you to die because then at least you'd shut up. Many curses later the mission was over. The next one was fine. The shootout was a pain because somebody didn't understand the value of cover...not sure me or the Don but one of us at least! Otherwise, nice and chill. Liked the set pieces, very nice. Then a mission on a boat, which is always fun. Cleaned a toilet and flushed down political dirt. Not the most graceful of executions, but fun none the less. And did need two tries because I forgot to stow my weapon after exiting the bathroom and the crew did not like that. Hehehe. Next mission was very frustrating. And long. First bit was because I was dumb and thought Paulie was being dumb being stuck on the car, when I was supposed to just use the phone. Otherwise fine. Second bit was again because I was dumb and didn't realize cigarette breaks don't last for ever. In my defense I figured a mobster would be smart enough to have someone watch the car 24/7 especially after a failed hit. Third was Paulie's fault for being a squishy squash. So many times he ran out of health while basically running into the bullets. We'll ignore that I'm too rubbish to just drive off. Fourth bit could have been the bit that turned me off the game for good. So many angry tries until a bit of googling revealed a much easier way. Took two tries after that because I underestimated the erm results of shooting up a humongous gas tank. Heh. Rest of the mission was a bit annoying, but nothing horrid. Did a side mission for a snazzy car, which was annoying but doable. The banter made up for it. Mission after that was...quite pleasant really. Didn't get to admire the set piece but the final view was nice and it was good to blow open a warm one with the boys. After that the next mission was, weird. What are a bunch of fellah's toting guns and stuff doing in an abandoned prison? Do I want to know? This was also one of the few missions I managed to do in one go, so happy about that. Did finally have to map in the sniper button though. Just for Relaxation was a bunch of frustration. Well the box unloading was okay. Slow as heck but was listening to something nice in the background. Had an interesting bit where I entered a car and Paulie joined me. Then I exited the car since I was supposed to drive another one, but Paulie stayed behind. Didn't really think about it until I reached the next quest destination and nothing happened. Okay, nick a sports car and go to get Paulie. He did not want to exit the car he was in. So ended up having to take that car and drive it to the quest spot. Nothing happened. Exit the car, enter the truck to move it about and BOOM cutscene. Next up is even more time with Paulie, which I'm not ready to tackle without plenty of sleep. Because that man is something else.

I went back to Shadow of the Tomb Raider for the first time since I got my RTX 2070 and I think I just stayed in one place looking at how "pretty" the game looks since I got a new video card, for I was running the game with Ray Tracing on at 4K.

So wrapped up Mafia and it was grand. Synopsis. All in all it was a fun game. The city looked lovely, even if I didn't do much sightseeing, but it was nice to just admire the buildings while driving and wondering how Bad Boy dry ale tasted. Vintage cars are always pretty so there was some eye candy there. Npcs looked nice, maybe not realistic but the aesthetics were solid in my opinion. And many of the set pieces were pretty well done. Also liked the sessions where he moved around areas, like climbing boxes to get through other floors or jumping between rooftops, even if it was just a petite little leap. Story was fun and Tommy was a delightful chaperone. Kinda sad that there weren't more moments with him, Sarah and the kid, because it would have been pretty cute. But what can you do.
Combat was kinda annoying, movement was stiff, he was finicky when he wanted to shoot and it felt mostly based on luck how much health you lost when someone fired a gun in your general direction. BUT the game was quite generous in it's auto saves. Sure there were long, infuriating parts with no saves, but it could have been SOOO much worse. And second turn when you knew what to expect was always a wee bit easier.
Cops were annoying in how they only targeted the main character. You driving by fast because the car behind you was loading assault rifle bullets into your side door? EXCUSE YOU SIR THAT IS SPEEDING AND THAT IS ILLEGAL. But story story rah rah rah.
So despite all my whining, I actually had a pretty good time. Todays session. Visited my buddy Paulie and had a cup of whiskey. Then we enjoyed a lovely train ride together. Visited a local bank to admire it's interior, then split up a while. Got some toys from Paulie's friend and made some friends as well. Did a delivery job for Lucas who in turn hooked me up with the snazziest of sports car. Went back to the bank and collected some deposited cash, then drove around a nearby building site to relax before heading to the club to celebrate a good day.
Then the next mission. Was genuinely surprised to find out that Paulie would not be killing me and I could not kill him for being a nuisance. RIP Paulie, you were okay in the end.
First try I headed straight to the Art Gallery, got delighted over the cutscene and had the most epic showdown with my Colt pistol with 6 shots to my name. Tried it a few times and failed spectacularly, then googled it and was reminded that I actually knew someone who sold guns and I really should have brought some more.
So reload, get the guns and a baseball bat. Then go and see Lucas for a car. Tail an unsuspecting lady then try to nick a cab to go back to Lucas. A cop sees me and is mighty irate, so end up running around the block (with him chasing) end up back by the car, pick the lock again and drive off scot free.
Then get told where the fancy car is. First attempt to get it is glorious. A copper spots my weapon and gets irate. Shoot the lock off, go inside the dealer ship. Shoot the dogs (RIP doggos) and the cop. A police car rolls in, hide behind a car, play a bit of hide and seek with the cops, but get spotted and mauled by a surviving dog. RIP Tommy. Second try no cop spots me shooting the lock off. Pick the door of the wrong car, but end up using it to deal with the dogs (rip doggos, you did not deserve this fate). Then pick the other car and head off.
Go back to change my weapon set up, but the guy doesn't want to talk to me.
So head to the art galery. Enjoy the cutscene and then start a long session of shooting, dying and starting all over. Not sure how long it took, but eventually ended up just watching a youtube video of someone doing it and managed to use that info to get ahead.
Make it to the next cutscene, then promptly get gunned down, my heart sinking of the idea of doing that whole mess again. But glorious autosave! Then die over and over again. Until I succeed, he runs off, I run after him and then get shot down when he makes a suprise re-entrance. Ffffffrig. Die over and over until I succeed again. This time I know where he's coming from and fill him full of bullets from the Tommy gun.
And then the ending cutscene. Which was pretty nice, but had been spoiled on what would happen (when looking up another thing) so the punch wasn't as big. But hey, the cutscene was nice.
Then enjoyed the credits and it's song. Where do gangsters go when they die? I think they just go to Walmart. Was going to be clever and download the Mafia II missing music files from the start, but the link decided to open up Aliexpress as well so that was a nope from me chief. So started up Mafia 2. So far so charming. Combat is a lot easier when it comes to surviving and shooting, but still feels a bit stiff to move around. Granted it could also be my mouse. First chapter was a mess, since I was still learning the ropes and adjusting to the movements and stuff. Still, made it out alive so to speak.
Spent most of Chapter 2 just admiring the city. The first game was pretty, even if the textures were a bit shoddy and things a bit boxy. But this, this was real nice. Pretty colors, smooth surroundings, real nice. Family is also super sweet and Vito is so far a pretty swell guy. Finally got to drive a car and so far, so good. Found a couple of 70mph lanes, so that was real nice. Otherwise it's easier to stick to the set speed, so far. Helps that Joe is constantly freaking out about speeding on ice and crossing red lights.
Chapter 3 was where a bit of the flaws started to come out. Like I couldn't stack all the boxes :C. Sure it's just 10 bucks but jobs a job Vito! Fisticuffs were fine. Hope I didn't kill the irate fellow.
Then there was stealth D:. Well it wasn't too bad. Got shot to death two times and even if I saw it, my thick mind didn't figure out to disable the alarm. Which is where the flaws come in, because of the saves. You can restart chapters and you can reload the last check point. But only the last one. Which I had passed when I figured I might as well roll back and see if I could do better. So I'd have to restart the whole chapter. And can't say the idea was enticing... Got a little treat on the way back, when I saw an NPC ram his car into the back of a police car, and he promptly got arrested. Yes! Now other must suffer them as well!
Anyways, continued with the story and got a lot less dough for my efforts. But got an excuse to speed demon afterwards, so it wasn't all bad. Really appreciating the new mini map with it's big blocks for police cars. So you don't have to squint and then take a 50/50 bet if that's a green dot or a blue dot.
Chapter 4 was pretty nice. Found a handsome Irish guy and all. Mission went well, but aftermath was a bit tricky. Since I bought a nice suit to throw the cops off the scent, then stupidly entered the car I stole to get there in their sight, so had to go back and buy a leather jacket to loose their trail again.
Was more careful in acquiring the next vehicle so things went a lot more smoother.
Then started Chapter 5, but the game had had enough of my screenshotting and crashed when I tried to snap a picture of a cutscene.
EDIT: Ended up loading the game and doing Chapter 5, this time no crashes but a lot of fire, bullets and a bit of casual murders.
Then did Chapter 6 and was tossed in jail for it! D: Served the time and next session is Chapter 7. Did peak at how many missions there are and am almost 1/2 through the main story. But there is also some extra adventures which I might or might not do. So all in all had a very enjoyable time with the game.

So yesterday actually got almost 3hrs of Odyssey in and still didn't seem to make much of a dent. So returned the Bull pelt to Daphnae and then headed of to the final confrontation with Daphnae herself. Chose to fight her this time rather than refuse which felt kind of bittersweet. Then of course had the Daughters of Artemis who were there attack me for no reason!!!!! Then went and picked up the quest to help a woman steal some armour from the Daughters so she could join. Went to the camp and snuck around but a couple of the caves were guarded and the damn guards wouldn't move for love nor money, so killed two and looted one cave. Then accidentally broke stealth near the other but the guards just ignored me so I wandered in and looted the place and wandered out. I assume it was because I'd taken over the DoA but then other Duaghters attacked me as I attempted to just walk out of the camp?????? Anyway returned to the woman and told her it was a great idea to try and infiltrate the DoA. Must try to remember to return and see if there is an outcome to this. Then decided to head to Messara and complete the lead up quests to The Minotaur, well the necessary ones anyway. Met Ardos, went and stole the first piece of armour and man didn't that for provide me some trouble. All was going so well till a guard spotted me through two solid stone walls (this would be a recurring theme) anyway killed them all and got the armour. The spotting led to me killing six Merc's who decided one after another to die on Kass's sword. Had the unusual issue of the top two merc's, the only two ahead of me appear and head towards the castle then just disappear as if the game decided to protect them!!!! Rescued Ardos's guardian and again the fight went pair shaped when a guard spotted me through a stone wall and whilst I was hidden and from about 30 metres away. Then decided to clear my bounty at a leaders house, one shot the bounty guy with an arrow from outside the house but decided to go loot the house anyway. Well guess what happened???? Come on surely you can???? So I am in one side of a U shaped house and the dead body is in the opposite side of the house, 4 guards find it and one spots me through 4 solid walls and says Ï see her" and then runs down stairs, across a courtyard, upstairs and through 2 other rooms to attack me. Anyway they all died and I ended up with a bounty again and decided that it was definitely time to stop playing for the day. Poor Daphnae No worries I'll steal you some armour Hey put the hammer away I just stole you some armour!! Alas poor Doris I knew her no but she was just one of many Merc's that died that day Taking a dive Scenery

So continuing on with my season in the show with 8 more games. 6-2 record. Including two losses back to back for the first time all season. Those two losses did basically get really frustrating. I only managed two runs on...17 hits. Including a 1-0 loss against the Yankees when Strasberg gave up a home run in the 8th. But then I would go on to get my revenge winning the next two like 5-1 and then 11-1. Then Craig Kimbrel got to work with three straight saves though he did give up an ER in one of them, the first time he has given up a single run in a save situation. Matt Barnes also gave up a run when he allowed a lead off single in the 9th to the Royals and I put in E Rod and the Royals basically manifactured a run. Had a weird game too on to of it. Scored all my runs very untraditionally, a double play and 2 Sac flies. Bennintendi hit his first HR of the season and yeah a lot of fun. I personally am up to 12 wins on the season.
