More animaniacs! Finally Liberty City is over and I can play San Andreas The ways of making money in GTA 1: Selling stolen cars, get people killed! And the first mission of the Dungeon campaign over with a good set of skills level ups: Defense, Attack, Sorcery, Destructive Magic and Luck

The complaints I have about FO and Bethesda in general...I really love Vault Lore. The Vaults and Vault tech just fascinate me so very much.
And Vault 11 was a bit of a doozy. During my explorations both yesterday and today I was struck by the political propaganda cases strewn around the place. And just how...bizarre it was. Extolling people's negative virtues and asking them to vote for the other people and even the pro messages...sounded very negative. The mystery deepened when I read the logs of one of the terminals which I actually had to go back and forth on making sure I got all the players right. Esentially the long and the short of it was the woman who was running to be the overseer (and won) was actually picking off her competition...and she was confident she'd win the election. And indeed she did.
So I get to the Overseer's office and its locked by a key. I find the key quite by accident on a podium and enter it in. I was quite shocked to discover an 'open sacrificial chamber'command in it...which I thought was an entry log. I clicked it and then the Overseer's desk swiveled open to reveal an opening which led to a tunnel and a light at the end of the tunnel and a voice over telling me to go into the light and sit in the chair. Ironically enough I doubled back to see if anything would happen, and it didn't, and my wife was being very heavy in the hints of what happened. So I had my anti material rifle locked and loaded with the explosive rounds and well then a lot of robots came out of both sides, and I dispatched them.
But very interesting and still not sure what the point was.

I haven't been doing any gaming the past few days as I've just installed two 1TB SSD's to replace my old pair of 512GB SSD's simply because I couldn't install all the games I actually own. So I've been having fun getting everything back as it should be and installing lots of games, 26 so far and I'm not done yet. Goodness knows if I'll ever get around to finishing most of them.

I was just playing it with the free month of Uplay. Not that far in the campaigns though. It's the 4th campaign out of 6. And I have 2 expansion campaign sets to finish too! Tbh never finished these b4, mostly played the scenarios and hot seat mode. I've only finished Heroes IV campaign sets which were excellent (the original and WoW expansion, the other expansion still to be played).

Hmm so everyone is friendly except for the Bridge which is still suspicious and Siora is only nice. No idea how to kick the bridge rep but maybe the next quest would do it. I've been delaying because the coin guard quests suddenly all showered rather quickly.

I just went to see him, he has nothing so say. I just got De Sadet the storm spell. Wow, I didn't her to do that. I was thinking she would stand there and lightning zap out of her fingers or lightning balls.

I tend to leave my older games and less demanding ones on my HDD

Popped down to Bolivia for a quick round of killin.
First off was going to interrogate that Unidad Lieutenant that had a direct line to the bosses. God I miss spotting. Not knowing what's in buildings can be especially hectic. Nevertheless I was able to get in and get out without a major incident.
Second on the agenda was stealing the car. This mission always has given me fits. This time though was perhaps the easiest. Sneaking around and taking people out, got to the roof of the building and then...someone started discovering me...I hit the dirt...and they saw me through a brick wall. I was quite pinned during the attack so the squad had to take care of things. Which they did so.
Finally finished with that and then hit a food convoy considering I needed it for some of the skills I needed it. It ended up taking me to PN Agua Verde, which is annoying. But I got Unidad and Santa Blanca to engage one another and then mortared some of the reinforcements.

Greedfall I like that the game sometimes saves the player the trouble of finding the travel point and ports them straight to the next location. But sometimes it can be baffling irritating. Take Siora's personal quest. Something must be crafted and she doesn't say what the freck it is until we're stuck in the middle of the frecking nowhere! She could have said it straight away the moment she's spoken to right at the start of the quest when everyone's in camp. Oh btw, does anyone hear odd electronic beeping sounds sometimes from the game?

I noticed that Conan Exiles had a free weekend on Steam (finishes sometime on the 22nd) So I'm currently playing about in Conan Exiles to see what all the fuss is about. It's not and could be quite interesting once you understand the mechanics which takes awhile. I resorted to watching a tutorial vid on youtube It helped though so I'll have a better idea what the fuck I'm actually doing once I get back to it after tea.

Fallout 4 Went to the radio station and wiped out the Gunner vermin residing there. Well it took two tries. First time I got a little too arrogant and didn't heal myself right away during a big fight with the bosses. Got killed and had to reload, which before I even got there. Didn't follow the advice of save early, save often. This time I broke out my Avenger mini gun with Explosive Pro legendary. In other words that is my no fucks given, I don't have time for your sh!t gun. Took out everyone on the ground level in no time, then I proceeded to the basement and resumed my usual sniper character. Ok I'm a level 70 something character, guess its time to move along the boring main quest, so I built the transporter and visited the Institute. Alyssa was quite hostile on meeting her so called "son". But she cooled down and decided to play along, they were fools who could be manipulated. Her so called "son" decided to put his mother in more harm by going after some synth who was pretending to be a raider boss. The Courser was nothing more than a worthless tag along, Alyssa did all of the fighting, sniping at the enemy raiders with her Barrett sniper rifle. Captured the synth and exterminated all of the raiders there. It was a good day. You're not doing the fire dance right, here let me put you out of your misery. Well, here goes nothing. Why not arrive wearing a courser uniform?

Finished up the last of the Witcher 1 adventure modules, The Wedding (which ended exactly as I expected it would) and finally, Merry Witchmas which. while filled with fetch quests, was still interesting. The makers of it are obviously Diablo fans, as the Lord of Terror and his Soul Stone both made a cameo appearance.
After paring down my save files I can uninstall the game and then move on to Witcher 2.

I have been playing The Division 2 on and off for the last few weeks and finally got through the entire single player experience. I think the initial playthrough has been a lot more enjoyable then the first Division 2, but for me the game doesn't have the same atmosphere and after you start the loot grind it loses any enjoyment for me. I will keep my character ready to play with my friends if they are playing the game, but I rather play Odyssey in chunks that are really to short to accomplish anything.

Fallout 4 Downloaded a mod that lets Preston ignore if you are the Overboss of the Nuka World raiders. Still banished him to Murkwater Construction site in case it doesn't work. After taking over Kiddie Kingdom, the last place I needed to capture, I started giving the raider factions their own turf. Operators get Galactic Zone and Nuka-Cola bottling plant. The Pack get Safari Adventure and Dry Rock Gulch. The Disciples get Kiddie Kingdom. So you can see which faction will be the odd one out.

Ended up playing more Sleeping Dogs and was quite proud of myself for getting the Safe Driver achievement (drive for 2 mins without damaging the car). Took quite a few tries but finally managed it (+ 1 min and 47 seconds!) while listening to Baby Driver. Then back to being a menace in the streets and napping in the sheets. Did a bit of karaoke. Got three songs in a 97% ish range, which was pretty good. Now gimme more songs. Crime can wait. And also a bit of the story. Still suck at countering but made it through a few missions. Bonus to being bad at countering meant I got many many chances to beat people to death with a fish. So that was nice. Today was some Endless Fables the Frozen Path. A decent enough hidden object game but terribly convoluted in the manner that you pick up a thing to open a door to go in a room to pick up a thing you need to use in the room you just came from. At least have another room in between or something. But no repeat object scenes or puzzles. So that was nice. Collectibles were also hinted at on the map, which made them less of a pain. Story was...interesting. A lot of getting knocked out and very placid reactions to being nearly murdered by super natural things. And there were zombies too, so pretty cool. Then tried out Portal Knights with a friend and holy cannoli it's the cutest thing ever. There is danger afoot! Also got no shoes on so double the risk! Didn't get terribly far, but so far so good. So good times.

Started Witcher 2 but didn't get far. I spent a stupid amount of time replaying the first ballista scene to make sure I got the guy and he didn't duck. Had to YouTube it to see exactly where to aim the somewhat ambiguous crosshairs. How Foltest could see the guy's red feather is beyond me. Geralt should have better eyesight by far but there was no feather, and certainly nothing red visible through the spyglass.
I didn't import a save this time. So far the only difference is Adda being dead instead of un-striga'd. I guess default Geralt didn't forgive her for trying to imprison him. But since I only played through the first flashback I haven't seen much yet. The second flashback involves another ballista (did they have a sale on them or something for this game? they are everywhere!) so I decided to quit the game and continue on later.
This game is certainly prettier than the first one, and Triss no longer sounding like Cora is an improvement. Lips don't seem to move when people talk though, which is a little disconcerting.

So... up to my usual Sunday Shanagans. In Madden: I do feel a little bit guilty abandoning my MLB the SHow season...but it does indeed seem like this will be the case since I am quite sure I have lost the flow of baseball. Alas. Still trying to get the roster set from this year more or less. Finding old people, resigning Butler because I can't help but like him and well he was still important. But I did find Brandon Bolden again and John Simon so I think I am pretty much good to go to restart a franchise...again..should I choose to do so and not go onto other games...or back to baseball. In that end I did play five games. Still running through this year's schedgule for the Patriots and also played today's game agains the Jets. Did pretty well in winning all five games but two of them were real frustrating nail biters. First game Brady had to go off against the Ravens, perfect Passer Rating, six TDs, but he needed them as I won 42-35...or was it like 45-35. Anyways that was most frustrating as my defense was lit up by Joe Flacco of all people and I think a couple of turnovers forced the issue. But I still pulled it out. Next game agains the Eagles Brady had 5 TDs and the Eagles only managed 13 points, and my D got three interceptions against Nick Foles. Last game against the Cowboys, similar results, even though they put up 24 points in the 4th quarter, still won with Brady putting up 4 TDs. Then today's game against the Jets...and then the game against the Texans. Similar scenario as the Ravens, turned the ball over 4 times some really bizarre ones here and there, but the D did get two of their own, in the end it only ended up being a 7 point game. AC 7: This game is still very amazing. Great plot. I got through to the final mission which I chose not to do out of pure frustration. But yeah this game is just so...amazingly well written. Wheels within wheels, mirrors within mirrors, so many good thematic and character moments. Granted some of the VA and the performances are still a little silly and takes one out of the moment. But it is still great. And with this and me watching the movie American Sniper it has been a very emotional day. And I am quite glad to report that this game still has its emotional kick after my first time playing. So well done so glad I got it etc etc. I am actually surprised stil at how well this Playthrough is going...I mean I will probably make up for it in my next mission but I just think I pretty much have actually just gotten shot down once. And that was with a massive asterisk of me flying into the shield of the Arsenal Bird as it was going down and it must've caught me...I survived...but then got shot down either by its point defense or a missile from a drone. The other mission that got me into a bit of a tizzy was the stupid one where you have to navigate and escort that one city at night with the car and you can't use the IFF properly. So beautiful and well put together...but so frustrating. Obviously I got through it. In FONV: So yeah and now for something I am honestly a bit reluctant to recount...I mean I suppose I don't have to but maybe in so doing I can at least get some reflection on this and maybe some idea of where I go from here... But last night was one of the most frustrating gaming experiences of my life. I thin this game nearly broke me. I normally don't reload a game if I make a *bad* choice unless I make a choice that I didn't intend to make...like not knowing the lab was a secure area in the original Mass Effect which led to me slaughtering the entire security staff of the Noveria labs...that sort of thing. And I think last night did qualify...but it was reload...after reload...after reload...after reload. I was dealing with the canibal issue of the White Glove Society. One option was to drug em, one option was to replace the meat with an imitiation, and or just take him back to his father. Apparently I also had to be a member of the White Glove Society which means I had to have good rep with the Strip...which I did not have and the game claimed that they were going to eat poor Ned at 7. So I wanted to expose them, go along with Chauncey's plan of making them try to eat the meat. But I had to also be a member of the White Glove Society, because everyt ime I went in there, even with sneaking and with the guy...they'd just start attacking me...so I eventually just conceeded and took Ned back to Heck. The kicker was that I was able to talk him down from razing the strip and he just took his kid and left...though somehow this led to them being exposed anyways. For some reasons. So yeah I am unsure whether I was a stubbourn butt or if the game just had shoddy quest design. I mean it clearly had choices and options about ow to deal with the quest line that had interesting but it put this bull shit thing that I have been complaining abut before where you have to pause it to do OTHER quests before getting around to it which is unimmersive considering what was happening with the kid. Was it too much to ask I could've done something to prove myself in the hotel? Or just had a way of infiltrating without having to be iniatiated? Plus I am just not sure how the quest resolved itself...I didn't want to do what I did because I was under the impression from the game and everything else that they would not be exposed which is why I wanted to expose them. I got the impression from the end of the game too...yet I am to go to Yes Man and tell them the problem has been solved. I mean I guess Heck still could've told people and I just talked him out of the razing. But I am just not sure...I am not convinced...and I am not sure I want to continue with the game now. But then I still kind of do because it was late, I was tried, and I hate feelig like I am being unfair over something that could be my fault. But ugh I might take a break from it for a while. After all Breakpoint does have that Beta...
