So I decided to see how catch combos work and started my first serious shiny hunt in Pokemon Let's go Eevee. I got one shiny pretty quickly in the game, but it was total accident. This time it was intentional. After breaking two 40+ combos I managed to get shiny Ponyta at combo of 59. I expected I'd need higher one, so nice. I might try to make team of my 6 gen 1 favourites before Pokemon Sword and Shield comes out.
Speaking of Pokemon Sword and Shield... Nintendo shop preorders/predownload became available today, so I got myself Sword version. It turns out there's promotion going on that you can get steelbook mailed to you for free, for a limited time. The same price as steelbook-less version... so why not, especially since like how it looks like.
As for mobile gaming, new update dropped in Marvel Future Fight which destroyed all my premium currency saving plans. I wanted to save and buy one of the premium characters, but new costumes for characters (they're not only cosmetic, they also raise stats of the character) dropped and I had to buy at least one of them. Seems I have to postpone buying Emma Frost for another half a year.

but Last Cloudia has picked my curiosity thanks for sharing, I should also try Dragalia Lost, but Nintendo only published this game in the UK for Europe dunno why still isn't in all europe stores. You guys should try perhaps King's raid it's basically a gacha with no summoning component, the heroes you are bought with the premium currency, the only gacha are the per say is the legendary weapons and gear, meaning each hero personal weapons and gear. Yeah, whenever I try to check online which mobile games are worth trying, they tend to not be available in my country I'm pretty sure I had King's Raid installed at one point, but I'm not certain I ever tried it, so might as well give it another go. I guess qooapp or downloading the apk from an external website will do with some games not available in the store. share your adventure some time if you end trying king's raid again.

Taking a quick break from ME2, I thought I'd try something a bit more modern.
I picked this up in the steam sale and thought I'd take a quick look.
It looks very nice, a lot of very good lighting going on.
I'm also playing in French with English subtitles, to add a bit more atmosphere.
Initial impressions: thoroughly impressed after only 15 minutes. Being the responsible working parent of two young kids that I am, that's all I played as otherwise I know I'd be up until 4am and I can't do that anymore, sadly (well, I can, but I would regret it).
Really looking forward to getting in to this (sorry Shep).

Doing some trophy whoring in Dishonored 2. The single minded determination of the guards in trying to kill you is pretty funny. They don't give a single fuck if you try using a human shield, they'll kill you both. One time I was fleeing and I heard a massive explosion, I turned around to see five guards lying on the ground dead. No idea what happening, it all happened so fast. Clearly they have zero regard for human life tho. LOL.

Masquerada Song and Shadows. Finished the game today. Quitting last night was a good move since there was a fair bit more to be done. But it went fairly well. A bit of tearing up but that's a good thing. And now to hope they eventually make a sequel. Then started Dreamfall Chapters again. In a new slot because I'm not leaving that room game! You can't make me! You're not my maker!!! Went with the familiar route this time because if I see that freaking robot ever again... Tried to convince Roman to go bowling. Come on cousin! Then stupidly picked the Reza option. No I don't wanna be faithful. I don't wanna be in the relationship. :C Go awaaaaaay. Also it lost me the option to try and lounge on the lounge chair. I WANNA NAP GOSH DARN IT. So restarted the game (also screenshots weren't working since while GoG galaxy did not stop me from playing the game when I failed on the password, it didn't let me take screenies either). And what is life without screenies? So went back blathered through the session and moved on. Found Ada and Kidbot far more agreeable than Mira and Shitbot or what ever it was called. Then again failed on the Reza thingie, since I wanted Risotto, not kisses. Last time I got him to stomp out in a huff and now I got a nasty tongue down Zoe's throat. :C But the Saga bit was fun. Chunky babies are the best babies or some such. Then back to Kian and was more pliable this time so ended at the table instead of the room. So that's progress. Still that place annoys me. Did end the session there and as I was tippy typing this post I caved in and reloaded the game. Got Reza to bugger off by arguing with him. Granted I think it was just the ignoring him bit, but better be sure. Now the Risotto is all mine! And the dream of one on one fighting Mr.London's men still lives on. Again ended the session with Kian at the table instead of the room. But I'm still super annoyed, so don't know if I'll pick the session up or not. Bah.

Yesterday after running into yet another way too powerful nasty, I discovered I can manually add red skull markers to the map so I know where not to go until I grow up and become a real witcher. I currently have 6 such skulls marked all over southern Velen.
Would be nice if quests you got early on were things you could actually do early on. I think I have 7 or 8 open witcher contracts that are labeled over level 20. I'm still just a teenager, only level 13.
I took a peek at the map with the ?'s added back on and it looked scary so I'm headed north to Novigrad instead. Will be nice to see Triss again, though I'm not going to romance her this time. Not looking forward to playing "where in the world is Dandelion the bard?" though.

But how would they make you rack up so many extra hours if they didn't make you go back and forth across the map lots of times????? And yeah the number of question marks is very intimidating to start with. Yeah those random red skull encounters are a big deal early on in TW3, just wandering along and BAM. That Dandelion stuff broke me on my third PT, I just stopped it's so damn annoying and then the getting the stuff for the Hotel is even worse!!!!

Fallout 4. End game After returning from the meeting from the Institute, headed back to BoS base and found out Danse is one of those nasty synths. Alyssa has mixed feeling about her mentor and fellow brother in arms being one of those things. She was tasked to hunt him down and end him. She found him and after much soul searching she was going to let him go. Then Maxson showed up and an argument ensued. Ended up convincing Maxson to let him go, now Danse is free to do whatever, except hand with the BoS. Got back to BoS base and was giving the mission to end the Railroad which she took up gladly. After making short work of them, it was time to bring it to the Institute once and for all. While traveling with Liberty Prime and listening to his anti-commie rhetoric, it reminded Alyssa of her time stationed in Alaska. They breached the Institute finally and killed everyone in sight. Found dear son in a bitter sweet moment. Told him he was on the wrong side of history, his mind had become corrupted by their influence. He didn't take it lightly and they parted on bad terms. After setting the charges on the reactor, the team reached a safe place and detonated it, watching her world come to an end again. Well, this is awkward. I'm here to kill you and find you like this. Still looking cool AF, Deacon! At least your body landed next to a crypt. Yeah, I lied about loving synths by the way. Its poetic don't you think that I return to destroy this place wearing a Coursor uniform? I'm afraid you're wrong when it comes to the Institute. They brainwashed you and there's nothing I can do to change your stubborn mind. Guess you got that from me. Its all over, but the crying...

Little bit of everything today.
So tried Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice. And it's not for me. Had a decent time making her plummet of the bridge, but otherwise no. Not saying it's badly made though, it just resonates really badly with me.
Got the last three achivo's for Masquerada instead. Visit the training grounds, revisit a chapter and use the mask 100 times. Did cheat a little on the last one, since during the game I had it in my head to use the little mask button sparingly. Which was pretty dumb in the end, but what can you do. So I had only used it 83 times during the campaign. Grinded up to 91, then was lazy and added the last 8 in via changing the text file. But now I have all the shinies. Nice.
Tried out In Between and like, I like it. It's mechanics are pretty cool, the story is interesting and it looks pretty neat. I'm just way to stupid for it.
So started up the Silent Age, since why not, fortune favors the bold. Turns out it was a point and clicker and pretty fun too. Ending was weird but that comes with the territory. But a solid game, if fairly short.
Then Journey Down Chapter 1. It's a really charming point and clicker. Main protag is a silly goof and so is his buddy. It's pretty short though. But didn't wear out it's welcome and was enjoyable for the most part. So good times there.

So YEAH! Plague Tale! Critically acclaimed.. story.. with a serious, well-written female.. protag-.. wait, what's that on sale..? Oh, I see..... No... must play serious horror game thing.. game..
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............
So YEAH! Top quality game play! It was on sale! I SAID IT WAS ON SALE! And I have no idea what is going on.
Look at this gameplay! Stop judging me! ...
I'll get back to Plague Tale soon enough, mainly because I won't be playing this when the other half is about I can tell you that much. Explaining Peach Beach Splash was bad enough.

Plague Tale is awesome, but I gotta ask...did one of the female characters in this other, umm...game...end up with even more clothes after transformation? Did anyone report that bug yet?
*goes to check what Peach Beach Splash*...or better yet - care to explain it?

Spent ALL day editing together another FO4 settlement video. UGH. So tired now. Children-only settlement paying homage to Little Lamplight.
Took about twice as long to finish than I anticipated. But I really like the result at least.^^

Finally made it to Novigrad. Toured the settlements just outside first, picking up a couple new contracts. Took care of "The White Lady" - Yrden seemed to do nothing for some reason - then headed to the nearest inn for one more game of gwent. Won the match on the first attempt, then headed into the city proper. First stop: another inn to play yet another round of gwent.
Did I mention I also picked up a notice for the big gwent tournament at Passiflora? Wonder if my deck will pass inspection. I finally have a full set of Nilfgaard cards so I can start using it now too.
My name is Geralt and I'm a gwent-aholic.

Played a bit of Shadow of the Tomb Raider - it's my least favoured game out of the reboot trilogy, but still fun. Lara went to get some silver box and save some queen, but got distracted by a new tomb! Ships in central American valleys do that. Once the tomb had been cleared out, it was back on the main mission path! I'm sure he was a really good guy. But I needed his spikey boots. I freakin' hate these guys... Melee combat in this game is just...the worst...and they come at you really quickly. Thankfully, miss 'dentist approved smile' just let Lara walk straight into the temple! Where there was no silver box! After escaping from the temple it was back to Paititi to regroup and check out some stunning scenery along the way. This is my second PT of Shadow - I'm actually enjoying it more because I'm trying out new things. First time, I basically just ran through the main story (which is what I did with the first two games), but that doesn't seem to be the best way with Shadow. You get - for me - the most enjoyment out of doing the optional tombs and just exploring.

Well, I'm glad I didn't buy BlizzCon Virtual Ticket this year. Diablo 4 looks like DLC to Diablo 3, Overwatch goes "2.0" route and WoW... don't get me started here. Even Hearthstone gets Battlegrounds? Like what the hell. I guess qooapp or downloading the apk from an external website will do with some games not available in the store. share your adventure some time if you end trying king's raid again. I could do that... and I actually might try it later, but for now I'm stuck in King's Raid. I downloaded it the same day and have been playing it quite a lot. I got myself team of 4 characters I like to Transcendence 1, lvl70, as well as my other 7 characters to 5 star and level 60. I have yet to hit any wall, but I don't think it'll be long before I have to start grind, since levels of mobs are getting closer and closer to that magical 70. I like it so far, but I don't know if it can keep my attention for long.

Wandering the city looking for things to do (and cards to acquire). For some reason I thought the boat to Skellige cost 5K gold but it was only 1K. I just remember having to scrounge for coin when I got there to pay the fare, but this time I had over 3K gold already and I've barely done anything in the city. Again, cards, fighting, and racing are apparently paying off, literally.
So, paid the fare but not going for a while, as I told the captain I have things to do first. Outside I met the guy hoping to net a black pearl for his wife (this one has such a sad ending) and I found the swordsmith-turned-dumpling cook who I agreed to help out. I remember this one being tough in my previous game, as I apparently wasn't ready to fight so many human attackers at once. I think I'm better equipped/prepared this time though.
On contracts, I chased down the doppler and let him go. Now working on the 'beast' tearing up guardsmen. I don't recall if this is the succubus one or not. Will find out soon, I guess. I killed her last time but intend not to this time.
Found the message from Alvin/Jacques in the bookshop, watched two people get incinerated (didn't realize one of them was Philippa's apprentice Felicia that I met in W2, since I didn't meet her first time I played that game), and finally located the regular blacksmith so I could offload all my extra weapons picked up from killing bandits and stealing their stolen stuff. Oh, I also located my stash, in Dandelion's future hotel. Why the place is currently full up with vagrants I don't know.
Eventually I'll go look for Triss. I'm just not real excited about having to look for Dandelion so I'm putting it off as long as possible.

LOL. Could be an officer fired (this can happen "naturally" of if you use misfire for bonecharms) and; 1] hit a leaking pipe 2] hit a whale oil tank but sometimes their weapons can turn against them. They can fall the wrong way and their own swords end up sticking them dead or they walked pass a comrade who had fallen and the sword on the ground flipped up when they stepped on it and it did something. Dishonored II is fun in that way.

Finished Journey Down Chapter 2 and 3. All in all I really liked this series. The protag and his buddy were so delightfully insane and the music was really nice. Ending was top notch as well. Had been a bit tempted to pick up my Witcher save again and just power through the encounter I didn't want to have. Ended up loading the game and being pleasantly surprised that Geralt wasn't looked like he caked himself in moisturizer. Found a new favorite mask and his inner mermaid. Then put on the big girl pants and went to see Roche. Was stopped at the cave entrance and engaged in a banter which ended in fisticuffs. Which I lost, but still got to squeeze past the fellow to meet my nemesis. Meeting went way better than expected and Roche seems to have found the moisturizer and wasted no time in soaking himself with it. Gross. Then he wants to meet up back at Oxfurt. So saunter over there, meeting a nightwraith on the way. Won that fisticuff with (milk) and honey. Stopped the session by Roche's side because I wasn't really feeling it. But did have a decent time threatening the locals, so it wasn't all bad. Then ended up loading Spyro Reignited Trilogy and had a grand time with it. Finished what I could in the Artisan Quarter and am now doing a fair bit worse in the Peace Keeper area. But it was fun.

Dishonored II is fun in that way. Yeah, it did sound like a whale oil tank exploding. But I was thinking to myself, "was there even a whale oil tank there?" Haha. Also, I've been enjoying using both Corvo's and Emily's powers at the same time, in new game plus.

I'm just not real excited about having to look for Dandelion so I'm putting it off as long as possible. Just screw up your face, and bite the bullet. There's a lot of good gwent cards, locked behind that questline.

There's a lot of good gwent cards, locked behind that questline. ::ears perk up::
I started on it and, knowing what Dandelion is up to makes the conversations with the women make more sense. By themselves, it all seems strange but, as Geralt realizes, put them together and they are all part of a larger plan.
Enjoyed Priscilla's song much more knowing it was about Yen and Geralt. He seemed to be pretty wistful during the performance, counting down the days before he can get on that boat to Skellige.
I won the horse race on the first attempt.
Laughed at Zoltan ending up with Philippa as his pet owl.
Gonna try to find Sigi's treasure this time - missed out on it in my first game. Stopped for the night at the door to his bath house. I'm sure he'll be so happy to see Geralt again.
