I finally returned to and finished A Plague Tale: Requiem.
Then desperately searched my library for the game with the most mindless action I could find and played an hour or so of Just Cause 3.

OMG, sorry this transmission came in so late. Today we find an Architect statue as we discover the Alterra mining place (we made a mistake of not leaving a beacon here as well) which, if you are planning to make all the projects, is a highly valuable place to be oh, there are a lot of potential Lead spots in this route:

GW2
I finished the HoT expansion and moved to Living Season 3 and finished the 1st episode as well.
Then I went and made a new Sith Inquisitor in SWTOR, but I'm not sure I'm going to play the character. It was just compare the voice because my Necro-Ninja remind me of the character somehow so I did the first scene and got to the first quest giver lol.

Persona 3 Reload. Actually I want September back, thank you. Do like that Takaya is responsible for the protag staying out in the Typhoon. Granted I would like that he did not, but I like this reason more than he was running late.
Tower would be the seventh maxed out rank and the realization I kinda messed up going for Bunkichi early since he's like almost always available unlike the peeps at school. Will I remember this wisdom next run? Heck no I already have 3 full runs of Persona Portable and it still hasn't penetrated my thick head. (╯▔皿▔)╯
On the other hand, dorm hangouts seem to give social points if the arcana is unlocked so that will be handy next run or something. Since I've only unlocked Yukari out of the four. Just gotta power through and see how close I get.
Kinda sad they removed the action from the roulette in the strength/fortune fight. I had gotten kinda good at it. But the buff/debuff affecting everyone was kinda nice. Except the -300 hit points since the party isn't particularly beefy and that would've been a frustrating end to the fight.
Shinjiro petting Koromaru before he went was a nice touch, given he's the only one who makes decent dog food.
Also do like that Takaja's gun is actually a gun. Why he hasn't shot the protag yet is a mystery though. Could save himself a lot of headache that way.
I like the atmosphere in the new block. It looks so bougie (I think that's the word? it looks fancy). The yellow overlay is even growing on me. So far my favourite.
Seasons don't fear the Reaper but I still do. He's only popped in once though in a Dark Area where I already found the stairs so I was outta there before he found me. Wonder what level I should be to attempt him, if any, given that I suck at combat if I can't exploit weaknesses.
Got ten more floors to the top of this block but sleep is a thing. Boo. But it was a lot of fun. And a bit sad.

Ghost Recon Wildlands
Finished up with Malca and didn't remember much of Malca but I guess the whole region had a lot of rough missions to it rather then just the end one. Though weird I kind of forget the El Cardenal mission was also in Malca so I have been pretty good about having the last mission from each branch being where we need to go.
Mission with the truck was a bit hinky as usual. Having to rush back and forth in the car. Also missed a shot because the guy twitched at the last second so that stunk. Highlight of it though was after the fact got on a little bit of a lone wolf on a building as wifey was off doing something IRL.
Then we got to ruin his first concert venue which had a bit of a unique set up since I was on sniper and the wife provided air support. THis too is becoming a bit of a theme. Shame of it was Unidad showed up. Btut since I was off on one edge of the battlefield they didn't actually someone a patrol on me, just the wife. Well took some coaxing but I figured if she broke contact then that would stop the patrol just with the current one and if I could do it all stealth like that would work out. And it did. Called in a mortar strike on their pickup truck which cleared them out. After a second helicopter almost caught us decided to go in.
Actually to we went and picked on a Unidad base to. Went in and started off pretty stealthy but then I made a little noise, but the follow through was awesome. Two guards on the right and then like two on the left, I mentioned I was pushing on the objective and the wife instantly went to cover the ones on the right. I finished off the last of my guys with abody slam.
We had to go steal his car then and...more UNidad...more awesome set pieces. As wife went to go chase the thing down I laid down cover fire for her wiping out the first patrol before breaking contact. We got lucky and the car crashed in a ditch so the wife retrieved it.
Final mission messy but fun with going after El Chido. Early on we were caught of course and this led to a chaotic sistuation with Sicarios, Chido, and civvies going everwyehre. Wifey started to engage the bad guys and I was laser focussed, kept my gun on safe due to the civvies, and then when he bolted for the car I was right behind him, so got him next tot he car and shoved him into the back seat before picking up the wife.

I finished up the Outcast sequel. It was alright. If you liked the first game there is plenty to like with the setting and characters. Though the ending...not great
Gameplay wise it was a pretty standard open world design. You get to travel around via jetpack and glider, so it takes advantage of a lot of vertical space. There are some pretty cool villages that take advantage of tree tops and large rock pillars.
However combat and mission design left a lot to be desired. It's a standard third person shooter, with some melee attacks as well. The AI was terrible though, lots of pathing issues and sometimes they would spawn in a wall or underground. And the mission design is pretty much tons of fetch quests, and clearing bases.
I'd prob give it a 6/10. Would be a 7 if it had less bugs

So two mild funny stuff.
My Main Pawn uttered; Have you taken leave of your senses, master? when I picked her up. I've noticed that the pathing is a bit wacky and sometimes the Pawns would fetch up against a corner and treadmill. So I grabbed her because she seemed stuck.
That wacky pathing came into full bloom when all of a sudden all three pawns sped away in front of me. We were literally almost 30 metres apart. What's more hilarious is that one of them said; Are you leaving us behind, master? 🤣
What do you mean leave you behind? You're all in front of me! 😂

Persona 3 Reload. Let's get to the top! And it's November now. This Monad was a pain, but interesting one. It had ailments weakness and stuff. Which is cool. Felt really smart blocking the instant kill magic guys with Rage, since you can't cast if you're mad. Wish there was (or I could see) if ailments are blocked or not, because if it's a boss then I'm not really keen on wasting my turns to check it out but I got a Pazuzu with some very gnarly talents. Also I have Siegfried now and he's a mega babe like usual And him and Mithras (also a mega babe) have a special move that is just a joy to watch. Also I want to be surrounded by Clotho, Lachesis and Athropos at the same time. Alas Norn did not unlock a special move with the trio. Boo. Chariot bond was the eight and Strenght the ninth. Strenght was friend zoned because I like Yuko, just not like that. Death is the tenth I guess, marking the half way point on my list. But I'm not really counting it, Fool or Judgement. So. Maxed out intelligence so am kicking my feet in the evening. It would be lovely if I could visit the shrine at night. But alas. Korumaru says no praying in the evening. I don't like the Hanged man fight in general and his multi action move was eugh. Thankfully he never properly utelized it. Just like Takaja refused to be smart in the skirmish before and instead was adamant on his rivalry with Yukari. Like he really hated her. With passion. The photo was lovely but not the master piece it was in Portable. Was so positive Ryoji had beautiful bright blue eyes. Alas. They are more grey. Still. With the scene being animated it made Aigis seem a bit less overprotective, since I always got the vibe that he was staring at the protag and Aigis butted in. But no. He was staring at Aigis. Jealousy intensifies. Also using music to "Break the Ice" sent me on a Britney Spears mood. Let me break the ice ♪ The song was out by that point. It could happen. New block is very groovy. Hunted down some disco songs, got up three floors and realized I did not stock up on healing items and Yukari really likes to play dead so, rerolled, stocked up and got my fortune read and tried again. But forgot the disco (╯▔皿▔)╯ No sir, I can't boogie. Boogie woogie. All Monad long ♪ Found a loophole for Koromaru and prayers since he can't use computers (★‿★) Suddenly some links seem more possible, but keeping expectations low. And Bebe will be the proper 10th link. Figure Sun will follow close behind. Next session will be the trip. Interested to see the intro bit, if it's a cutscene or in game, since they had shots from the cutscenes in portable. So that will be fun.

NHL 22
Saw a video while I was skimming through YouTube on EAs NHL series being horrible or something, probably usual low hanging fruit and probably talking about the new game. And probably even has a point that I am missing may got around to it. But I do enjoy it, at least the on ice gameplay. Think its weird how this and Madden is it tends to be reversed. NHL has really good on ice gameplay but a lot of really weird and interesting team management aspects, in total too, like not being able to rename new drafted players or anything of that like.
Anywhoo did the usual, up to 10-0-0 on the young season. Trend lines for the new season though is Pastrnak actually has gotten off to an amazing start with 17 points during a nine game opening point streak. Like 12 goals and 5 assists. Actually for once my entire first line is actually living up to its name and really playing well maybe even the best of the group as Marchand and Bergeron also has done quite well with like 8 goals and then...6 or 7 for them. Which of course is funny since Bergeron last season was stuck so long at four goals so overall just really happy about how things are going. Goalie situation Swayman is playing pretty good with a save percentage hovering around .950 and 1 GAA, but Ulmark has struggled a bit out of the gate, even had a situation where we were going down 4-3 before Pasta and Bergeron got us back in the lead in a recent third period game. Injuries so far to McAvoy and Gryz.
Which does bring us up to today. Game 9 against the Buffalo Sabres with Ulmark in net and Linus actually had his first great game between the pipes since the opener only giving up like 1 goal on around 25 shots or so. Think it was like 10-0. Pastrnak on his last game of his point streak with two assists. One of them was a breakway went to the back hander, shot the puck but weakly since he was being pursued but then Seguin banged it in on net to get the goal.
Next game against the Leaks who they are also playing IRL probably the sloppiest game I have had, well since the last time I reported honestly. Debrusk also started to get things going last couple of games after being really snake bitten to start the season. But he got the big key goal of the game on a breakaway towards the right edge of the net, pretty typical, but it was nice since he had two PP goals in the game IRL most recently (and a point today) that he got one in my game too. Other big goals of the game, actually a few fun ones now that I think on it, Karlson also got his first of the season on a heavy man breakway, and Fredric blasted one in which Van Riemsdyk then baseball batted out of mid air...I thought it wasn't going to count, refs initially waved it off, but when we went back to center ice for the next faceoff the goal indeed counted to make it 2-1 at the time. Only won 4-1. Which kind of fun they only had like 5 shots on Swayman in the first two periods and the first shot of the game for them went in...but then in the third period they actually outshot me and ended up with like 17 shots. Third period was one of the most wild I've played in a wild as there was literally like three faceoffs all period and we had line mates all over the place...and Pastrnak did not continue his point streak.
Next funny bit to between recent games had like 4 people all coming in to complain about needing more ice time. I rememeber thinking that the 'persuade' option was fun because it just seemed like a guranteed way to resolve the situation so it wasn't really a choice. And well its not. Hall actually whined at me after it and my option was like 'ok get in the dressing room'. Bit harsh but honestly even with the 9 goals on the season and as much as I liked him, he ain't on the Bruins anymore so he could be trade bait if stuff like this continues.

Yeah there are some things tha tcan be criticised abou tthese sports games as I'v eseen them too. Som eof i tis justified some o i tisn't as far as I'm concerned. For example I'm still a little perplexed as to wh ythe ycu tthe intro's down on FC24 as I fel ttha twas a bad move. The gam estil l looks good though and I like the new bits regarding hiring coaches that match your playstyle as FC24 i sal lasbou tfindin gyour playstyle and gettin gplayers and coaches t omatch it in order to make your team better and playing your way. I d olike things like the bus parad ecutscen eand things lik etha tas well a thteend ofa season if you win the trophies and things. Again I'v eseen similar criticisms aimed at the newTpospin tennis game as ewll in tha tthere's a lo to fcriticism about th egames graphics an tha tit doesn' tlook nex tgen enough and the roster isn' tbi genough given they'v eonl ymanaged to get lik e20 pro's on the roster. The yhave said the yaer stilllooking t oadd more pos tlaunch but it will take time I recognise th efac ti tcosts to license eachof the players and courts but th egame does have all 4 grandslam tournaments in it which is pretty rare as there's always been at least one tha tgets left off but the ymanaged t oad all 4 this tim e th eAusrtralian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open. With regard graphics it costs a lot to do what EA has done wit h their Fifa franchis ebu tbecaus eEA make around £1 billion from i tthanks t oUltimat eteam and stuff lik etha tthe ydo so they can afford to do that 2K aren't going t ospend an moer than they can make from it and Tennis unfortunately isn't the biggest sport so yo uneed to ge tused to the fact that it's not going to look perfect. Personally I don't find the graphics to be too bad looking a tthe vids.In fact I thin ki tlooks decen tfor a team that's on a budget fo rexample I liked the way Emma Raducanu's skirt on her dress was bouncin gand swishin garound as she moved around the court in the trailers. Haven't played myself yet but seeing as I hav eth e3 days earlyaccess as I bough tthe GrandSlam version I'm hopin gt oget started today. My plan atm is get a bit o fpractic in play an exhibition match using Emma and hopefully get started on my first career mode on the game. Looking forward to it tbh. I bought it for my birthday which while is still a coupl eof weeks away when it comest obirthda ypresents I don' t always follow the same strict line of not allowing myself accesst oi tuntil then as I do with Christmas games. Plus I want to ge tstarted working on those passes as the Grand Slam version comes wit hpasses tha tgiv eyo uaccess t oextra cosmetic gear for your avatars similar to th epodium pass in the F1games. The main differnece with Topspin thoughwhich I like is they won't be time locked like the F1 game once they'er available you ca nunloc kan pla ythroug hthem a tyour own pac eeven after a nwe one has dropped as you'l lb eabl et og oback t othe old ones an dwork through them i fyou're not done with them yet. Apparenl ythere's goin gt ob e6 of them to work through each wit habou tsomething lik e50 items o rsomething in eac hone so I thin kthat's worth it.

Persona 3 Reload. First run done. Kinda. For now. Crunched the numbers and alas I will come up short. Even shorter than the crunching since I'm not skipping the linked episodes.
Junpei/Chidori cutscene is a lot more impactful in this one (like I'm sniffling here) but the rest of the crew just standing there is...Awkward. Specially having seen Shinjiro's cutscene bit earlier. Admittedly they are not as connected but like. Do something? Yukari has healing so having her try and Chidori going "nah fam I got him" or something. Also the lack of blood is disappointing. You don't really get hit with the fact that he's freaking dead. Heck you can barely see that Takaja actually hit him. The cute smile cutscenes were awesome though. Mwah.
The number crunching made me feel kinda daunted so kinda wondering if I get the bad ending if I can use a clear save for ng+ and try again and try to be smarter. It would probably feel a bit longer and burning out, but on the other hand I would be skipping a fight with Nyx and that's a pretty big win since I have faint, suppressed memories of the horror from Portable and just. No. Either way half way through December I was just...done. Apathy Syndrome got me or something.
So ended up just sleeping through rest of December. Do have a save before it hit, so it's not a final thing.
Kinda bummed killing Ryoji is just using an evoker on your own head. Always had the mental image of a kitchen knife. Although the room being splattered in blood might have kinda yanked at the memories.
I do like the karaoke cutscene. Look it's a happy ending!
Not sure what I'll do now. Smart thing would probably be just stepping away for a while, but I was never clever. So bleh.
Did really enjoy the game though. Just the frustration of being so close, and yet, so far. Eugh.

DD2 NG+ So apparently there are many dungeons because I hit the 50th achievement yesterday. I looked it up and someone said they hit 63. I don't think I can find 63 by myself unless I look at a map. I hit max affinity with the main pawn because I noticed her smiling, blushing and different way of speaking. I was doing the talking and customization of her which raises infinity but it didn't seem to be increasing until I saw a guide which indicated there's a cap. Once the affinity is raised by 200, there's no more increment until the player exits the game or completes a quest which will reset the counter. Going to the hot spring will also help but I've never used it thus far in the previous PT and in this one. The devs ought to put in a difficulty level because I'm walking all over the mobs with the Magick Archer. The draw in this game is not the story or the characters; there's barely enough interactive or meaningfull dialogues. It's the classes and the combat. It's the game's main attraction. I keep seeing comments that it'll be GOTY. I doubt it when the story and characters are not as immersive, twisting (base on your actions) and interesting as BG3. Additionally, Kingdom Come Deliverance II is due out in December this year. The trailer is short but I expect more game play vids to come out in the months ahead. Again, people are saying this title will be GOTY. 🤣 um, no. I have played KCD once and didn't again because the little bit of epilogue at the end glitch out on me and I couldn't get it corrected no matter what I tried. I didn't bother with the DLC either after reading it wasn't much. KCD is a good game but lacking again in the writing of the characters / NPCs. What I want is a better longer more immersive story in KCD II. Heck, throw in a romance story as well; Henry the knight rescuing the damsel in distress! And get to ride off with her to a good ending. I'll probably get KCD II since I did have a good time with KCD. I'll definitely be checking out the game play. I hope they didn't put in the lock pick mechanics because LP was extremely annoying in the first game that most players look for the bypass mod or a mod to make it easier. Edit. Other player Pawns are odd. My main pawn is level 71 and she has many pawn badges because I have been wandering all over the map and whacking mobs in the previous PT and present. When I look at other players' pawns recently, they're all level 70+ and very oddly, very few pawn badges. Two is the maximum and the badges are completed. How does a pawn get to level 70+ and have thus far only whacked two types of mobs???

Lets see here. Got a lot done again starting to inch closer to the end of the game which does bring up interesting connotations since they apparently decided to drop a FO 4 update by the end of this week...
Anywhoo though we were really in the zone doing really good video game ninja stuff. Honestly playing this game as co op has been eye opening in a lot of ways given the creativity of how the wife at least deals with things and I haven't really thought of ways of dealing with my problems. Kind of took over on the El Cardenal fight because I knew what to do to make it work and thought she'd complicate things at least with the initial sniper and insertion. It worked out. Then I had her wait on top while I went in and maybe provide sniper support when things went to crap because it would. And well I went down pretty quickly and El Cardenal got away...but since I was playing with another player the wife got in the helo on the roof and did a good ole vehicle interdiction. Drove him right off the road.
Off to Floro De Oro for some more fascinating stuff. Kind of fun the Black Site is a mission which I think always gets me one way or the other but this time went through a lot of effort to set up an ambush because I expected vehicles and stuff but they never really materialized. Instead just a couple groups of soldiers. But then I realized that we didn't trigger a Unidad patrol alert so I think we were able to get away with being a lot stealthier. Actually it was fun we had a really neat moment trying to ambush a couple of guards but made noise on the first one, so I snuck around the edge of the perimeter of a box waiting in ambush and plugged the other as he came out to investigate.
After that tried to set up a nice double assassination on the mission where the Unidad Captain met with an SB informant. Was in the middle of explaining my intricate plan to the wife...but she was up in a helo then suddenly I saw missiles flying past me to waste the guy.
Next up off to a bit of a sniper's paradise on the mission where you have to free the Rebel. Bit hectic at the end but I was really having a lot of fun on long range sniper shots.
Final mission the bit where we had to capture the General to convince him to work with us. Similar stuff happened as to El Cardenal though we had a lot more trouble. I killed him the first time...at least that is what the game said. Afterwards though wifey stuffed him in a dump trunk and then after I respawned summoned a helicopter to take him away.

Othe rtha nthe fact you have to be online to pla ycareer mode the new Topspin is a pretty fun game thus far. If you've played Topspin 4 on th ePS4/360 it likely won't take yo ulong t oget up to speed with this. Plan on finishin m yfirs tyea rof career then probably will go back to Fifa and mayb eto one of my hardre saves. Though I did clean sweep al lthe trophies on my last season on one of my easy saves.

Yeah I'm not suer wha twill be GOTY atm as it's too earl yto sa ybut I would say Dragon's Dogma 2 is definitely an earl ycandidate as is Helldivers given that's proving popular atm. Mine atm is Forbidden West but mainl ybecause it's the onl ygame I'v ebought thus fa rbut won't coun tbecause it had it's shot when it got swallowed up by Elden Ring. Elden Ring was neve rmin etha tyea rbu tthat's moer becaus eI don' treall ydo soulsbourn egames. I would have said Star Wars Outlaws has a chanc ebu tthat was befoer Ubisoft reared their greedy head over it.So atm it's likel ygoin gt ob ebetween DD2 qnd any games tha tcome in th esecond half of th eyea rlike Dreadwolf. For me presonall ythat'll likel ybe Dreadwol fbut for th epewople judging it's hard to say.

And we carry on, this time we spent our time searching a trench (after getting some assistance ourselves) to locate a few important upgrades like the Ultra Oxygen Tank as well a couple useful things for the Seatruck. Then we realize we have the other parts for the vehicle upgrades and head straight to not only fabricate them (the importance of resource hoarding) but to install them:

The Dark Souls series is more for players who seem to enjoy frustration and the challenge of whacking bosses. DS is 80% frustration from what I saw because one can spend a few hours learning how the boss moves and beating it. Add the feature that allow players to invade your game and make it difficult for you. Not my cup of tea. Of course one way to prevent this is to play off line. Not holding my breath for Dreadwolf; I don't have a good feeling about it. I'm likely to be playing KCD II instead of Dreadwolf. Manor Lords is due for EA soon either this month or the next two months so I'm also looking forward to it as well. Edit. I forgot about Black Myth Wukong. This one is due August. I think I may get it though I've the feeling it may be Souls like. I'm hoping not. I've been very impressed with the little bit of game play trailer last year. The Chinese voice actors are really good. 👍 The language is flowery and poetic akin to the olden day Hong Kong and Chinese shows and movies where writers wrote beautifully unlike present day staccato sharp bites. Whoever the writers are for this game, I hope they continue with what I've heard thus far in the trailer.

Ghost Recon Wildlands
El Muro is now down and thus the Cartel is pretty much destroyed...well except for El Commandante which led to the amusing thought that he is just sitting in Media Luna going "I am so lonely." Always a fun mission really in a way. Four way fight between us, the Rebels, the SB cartel, and Unidad. In this case though wifey took a lot of iniative and went in there after El Muro, this left me on sniper support on the outside. And then trying to advance into the base for more support but this triggered a UNidad patrol so I was stuck between two forces and went down. Which kind of happened an annoying number of times.
With that out of the way decided it was time to go after Walker. Though IRL events and a stubbourn wifey all combined to her trying to drive a helicopter all the way across the map which left me waiting. I was a bit annoyed by this so tried to shoot her down...and she landed on me...which killed me.
With all this only got the first mission of the Walker stuff done. Which does not bode well for tommorow..assuming we play. But like maybe the first time I played this game since Breakpoint and its actually kind of fascinating just how much of a Breakpoint set up this was. Like this was the bridge DLC which introduced the concepts and handed one game off to the next but had a mission set mostly in a base, underground even, having to clear through the area with our guns, and well no drones and we get to deal with a lot of Unidad. Was getting into the military RP aspects, being underground it was hard to scout...though wifey still managed it and I did go down a few times. But still cool calling targets out and there were times we just had the general fog and not specifics so we had to clear through and watch our sectors waiting for the enemy to pop up so we could engage them. Heck even the music sounded very Breakpoint like. Unpopular opinion but Breakpoint was better.
And then of course the game gets into the whole 'is Bowman a traitor thing'. While this kind of game does have a lot to recommend it the problem with it is that nothing too much can change the status quo...like imagine trying to do this at the beginning of the game there would be virtually no tension. Although CIA spooks and Spec Ops apparently don't always get along according to some of the books I have read so it is a classic...cliche.

GW2Asura Necro-Ninja is now in LS2 episode 3, but I kinda slowed that down a bit to not get bored too fast. SWTORI took my SI to the Fleet completed the Academy on Korriban (if we can call it that an Academy, lol) and then deleted him and remade the character with a different class. I don't feel like subscribing so it was the only way to play a different class. I might do it again, lol. Horizon FWI really need to go back to that.

Whoever the writers are for this game, I hope they continue with what I've heard thus far in the trailer. Yeah EAand Bioware aren't exactly in a good place right now but that' s the main reason why that maybe just maybe I' m thinking the ymight com eout wit ha banger but like yo usay don' t hold your breath. I know tha tother than Sta rWars Outlaws and Dreadwol fnothings really standing out fo er mme this yea rs oatm things aer looking quiet nwe gam ewise atm. I mainly war yo fOutlaws thoug hbecaus eo fUbisoft as the yseem to be taking greed to the Nth degree atm. Like their trying t oout Ferengi the Ferengi. Quark would b eproud. Thankfull ywhils tsome companies ca nb egreed ylike EA the yhaven't got to Ubisoft's levels yet. I think EA have started t oreverse that rtend a little bit by cutting bac kon the microtransactions and such a sthe only games that stil seems t ohave them is the sports titles an dtheir Battlefield franchise I think. They've cut it out of pretty much everything else especiall ytheir single player games from what I'v seen which I consider a good thing. So unless I get blindsided by something like I did with the new Topspin as tha tcame out o fnowhere I'm not that hopeful I'll find much to be excited for. Last year had a few things to keep an eye out fo rthis year not so much so far as far as I' mconcerned.
